Rate this book
She was raised as an American Princess

Following the betrayal of a former lover, Sara Sherbrooke swore off relationships, too afraid she would be used again. Instead she has devoted all her energy to succeeding in politics without relying on her family name. That is until one night in Hawaii with her brother's best friend Christopher Hall.

He is a self-made billionaire

Technological genius and CEO of Hall Technology, Christopher Hall first met Sara Sherbrooke when he and Jake Sherbrooke were college roommates. While attending Jake's wedding in Hawaii, Christopher is reintroduced to Sara, a beauty who was once way out of his league. But now as the most eligible bachelor in Silicon Valley, the only thing stopping Christopher from pursuing Sara is the thought of betraying his best friend.

As they work together to promote a new education initiative, neither can deny the attraction between them. But will their growing romance be worth all of the consequences?

Not interested based on the first book.
Heroine was a self-centred bitch.
I don't want to read about her HEA.
If she really has been burned in the past that should have stopped her from deliberately getting another woman burned.
But she did that to her half sister purely out of malice and without any solid ground or evidence.
Just by assumption and gossip.
The guy involved being her half-brother didn't stop her from painting him as mercenary seducing her as an agenda.
So no, I don't want to read about her HEA. In my book, she doesn't deserve it.

This is the third book in the Sherbrookes of Newport series. This is Sara's story, Sara has had some bad relationships in the past, people using her to get close to her family. Her ex just wanting to get information to use against her father, then a half sister she distrust right from the start thinking she is only out to see what she can get from the family. She goes to Hawaii to attend her brother Jake's surprise wedding and meets his best friend Christopher again, they have a one night stand and then don't speak for a while. Christopher starts working with her on some legislation and the spark is still there so they decide to see where it will lead. Things happen misunderstandings occur and old feelings surface, you must read this book. I also was glad that Sara and Callie talked and that their relationship is better. Looking forward to the next book in the series, like I said a definite must read.

Good read

This was a pretty good read. I found Sara annoying in the 2 prior books, she redeemed herself a little in this one. Still not sure she deserves Christopher. Recommended read

A little disappointed

There was nothing special about the book. In some ways that was what made it endearing, i.e; there was only one crisis and this was resolved after each main character found a friend to talk with objectively. The two main characters were likeable which is important for me, as were their best friends. Not a lot of character development other than these. It was nice seeing their romance develop slowly, after the initial hookup. Then the period of agony after the breakup slowly developed which seemed a little odd if they loved each other so much. Then the period after the reunion seemed rushed and incomplete at the end of the book.

I so loved this story. Sara proved how it is hard to trust but when you wrong you need to fess up. When you get burned as badly as she had you guard is always up when it comes to following your heart or the brokenness of it. She followed the latter of the two first with her sister Callie then with her true love Christopher. I am happy she mended both fence and is building a relationship with her half sister and swallowed her pride to get Christopher back. Christina has done it again in this rollercoaster of mended a shattered heart. I loved this book but want more of Sara and Christopher.

:) really sweet.

with the third installment of this serie, the story goes and Sara Sherbrooke is the main character.

after she had some hard past with a former boyfriend, she is in no trusting anymore and anyone.
But Chris is another story.... she already knowns him, and she can be herself around him... attraction ignites and both of them intend to see what happens.

this story was so but so sweet and tender, all about their feelings and how they see the world and what they need to be happy.
really enjoyed, this serie continous to make believable characters and sweet story lines.

So nice to see Sara finally grew up, then found Christopher again. And I appreciated the efforts they made to work out a long-distance relationship around a father who's President and a past that reared its ugly head for Sara.

That said...commas. Please.

Christopher Hall has been secretly attracted to his best friends Jake Sherbrook's sister since he first met her when she was just 16 yrs. old. I love what a sweet, honest and loyal gentleman Christian is in this book, especially when he confronts his long-time best friend, Jake. Sara's brother Jake asked her to meet him in Hawaii, no explanation so she goes only to find out a huge secret is about to happen. When Sara and Christopher are left alone sparks fly, things happen that neither can face Jake in fear of the consequences. Sara is a strong, determined, intelligent woman whose past hurt badly clouded her trust in others. We learn to understand Sara and her motives, fears and strengths throughout this book. Christopher is no longer that geeky, skinny guy Sara once knew and he has nothing to gain from her family name, or so she thought. Christopher and Sara chemistry is undeniably sweet and sexy, their banter is cute, but her clouded past may ruin any future she may have. This is a cute story about love, friendship, family, hurt, facing your fears, making amends and confronting your mistakes.

adorably sweet

I really liked getting an insight into Sara. She wasn’t a liked character of mine in earlier books and for good reason. But once you learn the reason behind her acerbic nature you understand her better. I totally understood where she came from after what Philip did to her. She was protecting herself and her heart as well as her family. I loved Christopher. He was a gentleman but still made moments steamy. Being jakes long time best friend I was glad he stepped up to tel Jake and that didn’t cause problems. I did however not like how Sara’s past clouded her ability to see what she already knew. She had known Christopher for years as Ike’s best friend and he never used the Sherbrooke name for gain. To jump to conclusions to use her was crazy. I’m glad she swallowed her pride and fixed things. And honestly yes maybe he should have fought harder for her but honestly I got where he came from to have such a lack of trust and abuse him of those things was very hurtful. Can’t wait for more.

Love For The Princess, or Family Influence?

Sara Sherbrooke camd from a wealthy family and was curious as to why her brother, Jake , called her to fly their jet to Hawaii immediatly. Arriving she met Jake's friend, Christopher Hall. They both wondered the same and learned that James was marrying his fiancée, Charlie, that evening, though not sure why not a large wedding, what about their mom and dad.

. Later after the ceremony fireworks were going off for both Sarah and Chris and they ended up dancing the night away and more. Two very wealthy people were being careful not to develop a relationship and ruin their great friendship with Jake.

Business brought them to work together, causing anxiety and want for both of them. Would they follow their feelings or keep apart to maintain respect for Jake 's friendship? Great book. FAST read.

The Billionaire Princess

An enjoyable read. Tells how people are easily fooled by others looking to better their life with no concern for how they effect the lives of others. How actions of others leave you with little trust for the next one.

Happy Ending

The Billionaire Princess was a good read. I liked the storyline and the characters. I did not read the two prior books in the series, but they were. It needed to enjoy Christoper and Sara's story.

Spoiled

Callie understood being the youngest but relationships with had always been bad because people got close because of her last name. Christopher was different. He was her brother's best friend. Can they make it work.

The characters were too stereotypical and I really could never believe her angst and trust issues. Of course tall lanky nerd makes billions and gets the beautiful rich girl he thought was out of his league.

Political intrigue

Poor little rich girl. Men are after her but, not for the right reasons. She is highly attracted to her brother's best friend and he to her. But, she has a suspicious mind.

I enjoyed this book. This is book 3, but even though I have not read the first two books in the series, I was able to follow the story. Based on this book, I would like to read the other books in the series.

A sweet romance between Sara and her brother’s best friend Christopher. Their relationship and love builds slowly, a little too slowly at times but, then insecurities and certain events align to make Sara question everything.

The Billionaire Princess (The Sherbrookes of Newport Book 3)

Another wonderful book. This series was very interesting. Sara had been through it all because of her last name. But Christopher was about to change all of her thoughts regarding love.

Nice to read about the sister for a change and see her change for the better towards her sister and herself. She’s had her own issues with people betraying her in the past so it’s understandable that she doesn’t trust easily.
