May 13, 2018Well this was worst than the first one at least the hero from book 1 didn't called anyone a skanky ass or at least I don't remember if he did.
The hero is a piece of work, he insinuated that the heroine is a whore/prostitute.
I called it quits when the heroine shoved a "morning after pill" into her wallet when she went to a club with her best friend in case she had a ONS, it had me wondering does she have those pills in stock? Did she always have unprotected sex with her ONS?

My first book by this author but it’s apparently the second in this series. I honestly had no trouble understanding the story and the town it’s set in so it worked perfectly for me as a stand-alone.
Tybalt and Nyaneave are both very quick to anger and it meant their interactions were extremely heated ! Ty admits to himself that he’s not exactly a people person but boy is he a grumpy guts. Still with his history ( my lips are sealed) it’s understandable that he doesn’t trust easily.
Nya has a lot of baggage to deal with but honestly hadn’t expected some Neanderthal mechanic to treat her like an unwelcome gold digger ! Who does he think he is and why on earth does her libido go into overdrive when he’s around ? Nya is used to being independent and Ty just pushes all her buttons but is connected to her weird and terrifying dreams ?
Well this couple have chemistry that’s completely combustible. Honestly it’s funny, seriously steamy and even a little sweet. I defy anyone not to fall a little for the scarred mechanic although I admit he could use some soap in his mouth at times because boy is he foul mouthed but then again Nya gives as good as she gets . Yes they are definitely are a fabulous match and I actually thought their earthiness added greatly to the dialogue as it made them more believable and vivid.
I struggled to rate this and almost went lower because I feel a different editor would have made a couple of changes. The word drug is used several times whereas in that situation I would have used dragged. I’m English so aware that Americans often have different words example trunk when I would say boot of car but drug kept making me think of medical matters. It did give me pause the first time but I got used to it and accept different words or phrases are used in different regions but my review would not be truthful and honest if I didn’t mention it.
I loved this very different take on the supernatural community and will certainly seek out the previous book Fly Away With Me and see what else the inhabitants of Maryvell get up to. This felt unique and very fresh and I recommend to those seeking a new voice in paranormal romance.

After reading Fly Away With Me I knew that I was going to love Nya! Dixie Painter has out done her self with Ignite With Me!! I was drawn in from the first chapter, wanting to know about Nya's dream! I absolutely loved this book!
The first meeting between Tybalt (Ty) and Nya had me laughing out loud! I could read fast enough!! From then it just got better, the chemistry between them was combustible!! You could feel the emotions through Ty as he tells his story. I fell for our favorite angry, scarred mechanic just a little every chapter. I absolutely loved it!!

I fell in love with Dixie's voice in "Fly with Me" and couldn't wait to get to the next book in the series and dig back into the madjickal Maryvell.
God this book was amazing. I don't even know where to begin. I fell in love with both Nya and Tybalt right off the bat. The chemistry with these two was flawless and off the charts HOT. Enemies to lovers (my favorite trope ever).
Ty is a big, gruff alpha male wounded and jaded from his past and all the pain and suffering he's endured. It's gonna take someone extra special to peel back those crispy layers and get to his huge, soft heart. He's my favorite kind of hero. Nya fits the bill perfectly. A spitfire of a woman (literally) this little "harpy" can control and create fire, is strong, badass and takes s*&^ from no one--especially Ty.
Their first encounter in the garage had sparks flying and I laughed my butt off at the banter. I knew then and there this book was gonna be GOOD and SMOKIN hot once these two sealed the deal. Dixie delivered some of the hottest scenes I've ever read.
I love the rich supporting cast of characters and the world that Dixie has created. I want to move to Maryvell and be part of the big family there. I want to have a girls night with Nya and Quinn and have a heart to heart with Ghee. I want to go to Noarh and Jareth's house and play poker, drink and watch their little spawns run around. I can't wait for the next in the series.

Excellent
The follow up book was as good as I thought it would be and just as good as the first. I really have enjoyed both books in this series and am eager to read the third. I want to see what happens next and how starlas story fits into this one if it does. There are a few word errors and I only comment on it because everything thing else in this book was so hourly put together that it would sometimes jar me out of the world if my brain couldn't automatically translate the error. Given that was the only problem I had with these books and those errors were far and few between I would have given this book and the previous one more then 5 stars if I could have. You can tell the author loves these characters and these stories because it there you can feel it when you read it. This author truly loved the world she's sharing with us.

Ignite With Me is the amazing story of Ty the rough around the edges mechanic and Nya who is linked to Quinn front fly away with me. This story is funny and sweet and OMG hot.... lots of suspense in the story as well. I honestly was going to just read a little bit and then found myself not able to put it down! Such a great story from Dixie Painter and I can not wait for the third book! Dixie makes her characters so relatable that even those that typically do not read this genre will enjoy it... you do not need to read the first to enjoy this book but I would definitely recommend it as the book is just as amazing!

Oh my this book ! Nyanaeve and Tybalt these two DO NOT hit if off from the beginning in fact the opposite is true. The banter between them at times is very crude but it is their personalities. I loved the names they called each other you could feel the sexual tension coming off the pages of the book. They both have a lot to learn about the other. The evil facing Maryvell is coming again and these two have a major roll in it this time.
Tybalt's background just made me cry he has survived so much and he has such a hard exterior - Nyanaeve is perfect for him. This author created characters that were truly made for each other.

Ty and Nya have a rocky relationship from the moment they meet and emotions will rock you to your core! The town of Maryvell will pull you in and make you one of their own in no time with each of its amazingly quirky friends and neighbors!
this story offers great plot lines, with tons of action and great twists and turns, all the supernatural creatures you can fall in love with, hot alpha bad boys and sweet sexy girls for them to fall for!

A-freaking-mazing!
This book is amazing! I loved book one of this series, but book two has far exceeded my expectations. For me, as a reader, what makes a book great is when I’m reading and imagining myself living in the world created by the author...and this book did that for me. The author has noticeably grown in her writing since the first book of the series came out and I can’t wait to see what else she throws at us!

Oh I Loved it! I adore Ty and Nya - but its not just the fiery romance that the two connect that made me really enjoy this book. They are witty and foul-mouthed in a way that warms my heart. I laughed out loud and fell even more in love with not just Ty and Nya, but the little town of Maryvell and it's habitants. A great read.

Oh My Gawd!!! Ty and Nya are my new favorite!!! I love this book!! The rawness of emotion and the mind blowing sex scenes are absolutely amazing!! I seriously can’t wait for the next book in this series!! I like how they’re not all connected but they are connected!!! Left me speechless and aching for more!!!!! Keep them coming!!!!

Wow! I became totally invested in this town and the people in it. No one dimensional characters here, Dixie does a fantastic job of making them so real for you and brings the heat in the best way between Nya and Tybalt. Like Nya's muscle car (a character in its own right) this story makes the ground rumble and people sit up and take notice. Looking forward to more to come from this author.

TKs review: Love the story. Hated the ending just because I hate those kinds. I think my soul and heart were ripped out and returned upside down. I’m hoping for redemption in book 3.
