Book One - Ember Wells knows the meaning of terror. A reporter by day, her nights are spent hiding from a serial killer known as The Seeker. He's stalked her for a year, terrorizing her through the lens of a camera.
Held prisoner by paranoia, fear becomes a lonely companion...until she meets bad boy, Angelo Dimitrov, a dark, mysterious vampire who sets her world on fire.

Angelo Dimitrov is not what he seems. Sexy as sin and shrouded in secrets, he appears out of nowhere and moves in next door. Should Ember run from this stranger with the moss green eyes or give in to her heart and be burned alive...

Book Two - One year ago, Shon Wells nearly lost his life and the lives of those he holds dear to a mysterious man known as The Seeker. Now, Shon faces a new enemy. One that threatens the woman he loves. Shon will stop at nothing to protect her...even if it means his life.

Laura Donovan has secretly wanted Shon for years. Now the sarcastic vampire from the wrong side of the tracks is back in her life, and he's out for blood. Including hers. Racing headlong into danger, Shon and Laura fight to stay alive, uncovering deceptions, treachery, and a love that won't be denied.

Book Three - Vlad the Impaler has never known love. After all, what need does an ancient vampire have for such soft, weak emotions? No, Vlad is given only to duty. His life is an endless span of long, dark nights fighting shifters and the enigmatic hunters known as the Seeker Society.

But when fate puts Nita Franks, the sexy alpha of the wolf shifters, in Vlad’s path, all bets are off. After rescuing her from the Seekers, Vlad is drawn to Nita as fiercely as she is drawn to him. Their passion ignites, threatening to burn everything in its path, friend and foe. Even worse, the Seekers have unleashed a dark plot to end Vlad’s very existence and resurrect an ancient evil that could ultimately destroy them all...

Overall. If you love vampires and not the sparkly kind, this series is for you. Here is a unique and sexy world of hot vampires.
Book 1 Angel... Angel is no Angel. He has been around a long time and now he may have met his match, In more than one way.
Ember Wells is a reporter by day but at night she hides from a terror known as the Seeker. She thought she had that behind her a year ago but now there seems to be a copycat...or is the watcher that is behind bars her real enemy. This story is very captivating from the beginning. Ditter Kellen has done a great job developing strong female characters, sexy, male characters, great villains, intriguing plot and man oh man what twists in this one. This first book had me confused a little as it kept talking about the Watcher and a case in Ember's past and some stuff with Clay the detective from that case. I couldn't help but wonder if I had missed something. Also, the story occasionally would say book 2 on up to 5 and I got confused since I was reading a trilogy... having said that don't let it throw you because this book is fantastic and really is book one.
Book 2. Shon
We meet Shon in book one. He is Ember's cousin and has the same vampire blood in his genes she does. I won't go into how he becomes Vampire since its a spoiler from book one so go read that first... Shon and Laura's book is sort of a continuation on book 1. it is sexy and twisted as well. I loved Shon and he adds humor to this series.
and Book 3...Vlad. Yes, that is the one and only Vlad the Impaler. Vlad hates shifters, especially wolves. he tolerated working with Anita when Angel called in a favor to help protect ember, Laura and Lucius. Now he finds himself in a dilemma. She was caught on his land, bleeding out, but instead of killing her, he shared his blood saving her. Anita was not happy with Vlad but she couldn't get him out of her system (literally). I liked this one as much as the first one. I loved Vlad and Anita. She had a lot of spunk. There is a lot of action a few twists and a great conclusion.
Now for the narration. I loved Johnny Mack's performance. I think he did a great job on the voices and especially bringing excitement to the forefront of the story. He has good infliction and moves the story and never makes it sound like he is reading it. I will say that Vlad's voice is a very Dracula sounding voice. You will either love it or think its silly. I myself loved it and think it gave the just right old-world Dracula feel to the story, Shon had that touch of bad boy and the sifter Saman a touch of hills sound.
I suggest getting the audio if you can. (this would be a could credit purchase lots of bang for the buck) Since the series is long it would take a while to read but I listened to it in a couple of afternoons while doing drudgery...oops I mean chores.

This trilogy of interconnected stories is wildly lethal, wickedly hot, and unbelievably shocking! There was never a dull moment, and I was incredibly delighted at the immense creativity and boundless heart that flowed through each magnificent story. I couldn't get enough of the stunning characters that you meet, fall in love with, and hold close to your heart. What you come to discover in this wonderful series is an original take on the supernatural that made me delighted my mind and held me captive with bated breath. I also loved how these stories can be read as standalones, but to read them one after the other offers the reader a deeply rich experience that made me sigh with pleasure and happiness.

The ultimate masterpiece of this series was saved for last. This story tied everything together in a nice package and then exploded it to reveal something you would never have imagined. I guarantee that you will be held captive to every move and thought that these incredible characters take you through. You will not feel or think the same after you finish devouring this unique series. It will shake your very foundations and make you see in a whole new way.

DItter Kellen has proved beyond a doubt that she is capable of writing any type of story and working her magic to make it utterly fantastic and most importantly unforgettable! She is a fabulous author who is definitely one of my favorites. I love how her mind and heart work in tandem to create a new world filled with undeliverable intriguing characters who take you on a mind-bending journey that will engage all of your senses. You will walk away feeling that you took part in something important and worthy of your time. After all if your heart gets involved there is no telling where it will take you.

Disappointing ending

I must say I was really disappointed at the end of the series. It felt rushed almost as if the author reached her accounts or just plain ran out of ideas. One of my favorite things about reading a series is finding out how characters in previous books are doing and while Ember and Angelo made an appearance or two, Laura was nowhere to be found. other than a casual mention here in there. and I strongly dislike that. I love stories where they have babies so that is probably why I felt the biggest connection to Ember and Angelo story. and felt cheated when the other two couples didn't conceive. like it wasn't even an idea on the horizon. except for in the epilogue of the third book they said "oh one day we may have babies just not right now" and that was that. why was there an epilogue just to tell us that it was three years later and this big war that was supposedly coming never materialized and there's no more babies. I felt so cheated. And by the way Ember was quite frustrating at times as much as I liked her story stubborn and hard-headed and so was Laura too for that matter.

I have to admit that even though I thought this may be too dark for my tastes, I absolutelly loved this!
Ember - book 1, follows the tale of Angelo and Ember
Shon - book 2, follows the tale of Shon and Laura
Vlad - book 3, follows the tale of Vlad and Nita
All these tales are about the love between each couple, the obstacles they need to overcome and the general quest to rid the Vampire world of the Seekers, a group dedicated to getting rid of vampires! Suffice it to say, there is drama among the romance as well as thrilling adventure and all 3 deliver a thotoughly good tale! the characters follow all the books and are well developed and likeable! A good series worth listening to! The narrator cavers the voices pretty weill although initially I found him a bit irritating but he grew on me!

I received an ARC copy of this audiobook and am leaving this review freely and without reservations

The Seeker Trilogy (The Seeker #1-3) by Ditter Kellen was a great series. This book consisted of Ember, Shon and The Rise of Vlad. We are introduced to The Seeker in Ember as they are stalking Ember. We see The Seeker through all three books. I really enjoyed reading this series. Ditter Kellen did a great job of writing characters that you get invested in.

Enjoyment

I really enjoyed this trilogy. The characters are so interesting that I couldn't put it down. I wanted them to succeed and having them played with was very intriguing because they bounced right back. The plot was intense with Lilith being in the center of things and how the wolves and vampires evolved.

I loved each and every one of these stories. Of course I couldn't wait to get to Vlad's book, but Shon is my favorite character in this trilogy. If you enjoy vampire books, this should be a definite read for you!
