Genius isn't about thinking grand thoughts. It's about turning ideas into world-changing realities. Discover Your Genius outlines the basics enabling anyone - or any group of people, working together - to bring a genius idea to fruition. No matter what field you're in or what kind of idea you have, you'll benefit from another Gerald Sindell's goal oriented 11-point program, which Distinctions - perceiving how your idea differs from all the others; Identity - knowing why you're driven to share your idea with the world; Implications - imagining where your idea will lead, & all the possible consequences; Testing - making certain your idea will work in practice; Advocacy - standing up forcefully for what you've created.
The author does a great job of detailing the thinking process, including the processes of innovation. Not just worth reading, it is mandatory for the person who wants their innovative ideas to succeed on the world’s stage.
The only thing that I found flawed was the name chosen for the thinking process proposed by the author, Endleofon. Why in the world did the author choose to name his ideas on the thought process in such a manner? I have to question it.
Other than that, I consider what he wrote worthwhile, informative and compelling for those seeking to think, create and innovate. I also suggest reading multiple times until what he has written becomes a part of you. It will breed success in your life.
The only request I have for the author: Please rename your system into something easy to state for the purpose of advocacy (last chapter).
Wordy, not compelling writing, but worth-wild information. The 11 Steps are worth working through... the book -- not so much. I'd recommend buying the book for the 11 steps... you don't have to read every word to glean the book's value.
