Cole Shepherd’s quiet demeanor and imposing height made people think of him as a gentle giant. But there was a fire simmering beneath his serene surface. Working the ranch that he and his brothers owned was a dream come true—especially after the childhood they’d each had and the almost debilitating rodeo injury that had left him with a slight limp. The life he had should be enough, except there was still one thing missing.
Grace Holden had suffered some hard knocks in life. The death of her parents and the loss of her family ranch had left her with limited expectations. So when Cole bought her basket at the Fourth of July picnic, she tried not to let her hopes rise. However, the more time she spent with the shy cowboy, she couldn’t help but secretly hope that he would see past her big girl exterior to the true heart beneath.
Joann and Patricia are a writing team of two best friends who love to write (and read) stories about alpha males and smart, sassy, sometimes curvy, women.
Hey girls, I loved this book and another I've read, so want to read all your others! please keep on writing the way you do, I'm sure many others would agree! I always love cowboy stories they're my favourite as are yours. So please don't stop, I want to read more, more , more. Thank you for a great escape for a few hours. Many Thanks. Maureen
Was a good premise and the storyline had great possibilities but it was all ruined with careless mistakes. 3rd person ruined so much and the author mixed up names too many times to overlook. Very immature
Oh man—what a terrific read. This one has it all…a great storyline; awesome characters; an easy to follow plot; and an absolutely kick ass HEA. You’ll want to add this one to your personal library!
Insecurities ran rampant between Cole and Grace, but oh so happy they were a letter to work past them and lo e each other. Looking forward to Kyle's story.
Like the meddling family and lack of stupid unnecessary drama. Cute characters and nice sweet love story plus no billionaire dom antics which was refreshing
Cole carries a good deal of pain and anger because of his past. Grace can relate as her past carries similar anguish. Allowing love in brings its own healing.
