In this all-new miniseries, Raven faces a new, otherworldly menace that is all too grounded in reality. Plus, Raven’s personal life is in an uproar as her mother and aunt struggle for the soul of a Titan! It’s up to Baron Winters of the Night Force to intercede on her behalf as she embarks on the adventure called “The Girls With the Anime Eyes”!
Marvin A. "Marv" Wolfman is an award-winning American comic book writer. He is best known for lengthy runs on The Tomb of Dracula, creating Blade for Marvel Comics, and The New Teen Titans for DC Comics.
Less Marv Wolfman-ish than I expected. Great to see a Raven story that doesn’t focus on Trigon. Again. Creepy final page, I didn’t need to see that right before in planned on going to sleep.
Raven , of The New Teen Titans fan , gains her own 12 issue maxi - series !! It starts off with a surprise ending to issue # 1 !! I am liking the absence of Trigon for this story !! That has been done , and OVER done !!
I was a little confused as to what was going on. I mainly bought this issue for the cover. I like Raven’s costume. Hopefully more will be explained next issue.
This was better than I thought it would be. My knowledge of this character comes from a wacky Teen Titans Go television show my son watches. I will be purchasing issue 2...
I’m... not sure if I want to follow this series. Pacing and format is off. I don’t remember caring about Raven’s previous story much, but I also really want it to succeed.
