Ella

Since I was a little girl, I have been surrounded by hate, death, murder, and slavery. I’ve been guarded my whole life by my brother—Raze, the kingpin of the underworld and the most feared individual in the United States of America. And then further more guarded when I found out the president of The Devil’s Own MC was my long lost half-brother. Being tossed around from one extreme protection to another has left a part of me yearning to break out of it's cage. The part that I've tried to sugar coat and hide, because if she's unleashed, everyone would see just how much like my brothers I am.

Panting, wanting, needing to unleash the side of me I’ve always known was there.

My secret is mine and my brothers.

Only they know what I hide and why I hide it. How I fight for love because if I don't, my rage would win and I’d be a mere shadow of the girl people have grown to know.

But I broke.

And the man who held the hammer that shattered the walls I spent years building to cage in my rage—was a psychopath.

NOTE: This coming year I have set a challenge for myself of reading one book a week that takes me out of my comfort zone. A book that may include one (or more) tropes (scenarios) that I avoid like the plague. Cheating. Older women/younger man. OW drama. Just to name a few. Nothing is off limits. I am taking a HUGE step out of the box I usually live in and charting a course into the unknown (HaHa). My reviews for these books will differ slightly from my usual as I will focus more on whether the author wowed me despite it having content I avoid. That said, I will go into each book with an open mind and an open heart and who knows, maybe I will discover a new favorite author on the way!

description

descriptionSo I'll be honest here I am really struggling with how to rate this one. The first 60% was a solid four-star read. Sure it was over the top angsty, but I was enjoying it. Unfortunately, at 60% it took a turn into the absurd and I literally HATED the last 40%. So much so I very nearly stopped reading I was so annoyed with the direction the author went in. So that is the dilemma I find myself in...

~THIS BOOK INCLUDED THE FOLLOWING TROPES (SCENARIOS) I USUALLY AVOID~ (don't click if you don't want the book spoiled!!)

~WRITING - PLOT - PACE~
I actually really enjoy this author's writing style. It flows well. It's easy to read. It sucks you in from page one. And I felt the same way about this book. As I mentioned for 60% of the book, I was hooked and enjoying the story. The pace was good. The plot was super engaging and then it all went to sh!t for me. The wheels feel WAY off the bus. None of the characters actions made sense. The drama lama gave birth to twins. It got all convoluted with twist and turns galore. Ugh...I hated it!

~HERO~
Frost...I honestly don't know what to say about him. I guess for the most part I DID like him. He was sexy. He was a douche. He was damaged. He was never once for the entirety of the book faithful to the heroine which got to be annoying after awhile. And he turned into a bit of a weird sap near the end.

~HEROINE~
Ella...Sigh. So I DID like Ella overall. I just wish she hadn't been a virgin. I also wish the author had let her have sex with OM. It annoyed me that Frost kept saying she couldn't be with anyone but him but he basically slept with every woman that came into the story. And do not even get me started on how vexing I found the last 40% in regard to Ella, the decisions she made and the fact that she stayed all shiny virginal while yet again Frost was sticking it in another woman.

description

~SECONDARY CHARACTERS~
There was a good cast of secondary characters in this one. A lot of them from previous books with the addition of a few new ones. I am curious about the next book featuring Miles, Willow, and Blake. I do love a good menage book.

~HEAT LEVEL~
Medium. There were some hot sex scenes and the frequency fit the story.

description

~ANGST LEVEL~
Super High. Lord this one was angsty. The push and pull. The back and forth. It was filled with OW drama. Some minor OM drama. Light sex scenes with OW. Pseudo cheating <--- Frost's behavior through the entire book FELT very much like cheating to ME. But it will very much depend on how you define cheating.

~IN THE END~
This is a tough one. I was enjoying it a lot...until I wasn't. The first part was great. It was angsty but enthralling. The characters damaged and intriguing. The plot engaging. Then the last 40% happened and that sort of cast a pall over the entire book for me. Like I said, the wheels fell off. Characters made decisions that left me scratching my head. People moved on easy peasy like. It took crazy twists and confusing turns. So yea, a confusing mixed bag with this one. I am going to go with three stars at this point with the option to change my rating the more I marinate on it. That said, I am still onboard to see what the author has in store for us in the next book. Yours truly gives this one a tentative thumbs up.description

One of the things I love most about reading books by Amo Jones is the surprises she always has in store for me. That woman’s mind creates books with such scintillating wit, spine-tingling horror, angsty romance, and phenomenal characters that I can never predict how the story is going to go. I’ve been eagerly anticipating Frost’s book. And when I say anticipating, I mean I was one thirsty little -----, but it was definitely worth the wait.

While Frost was a diagnosed psychopath, Ella was raised to be one. Like typically recognizes like and these two connected like pieces of a puzzle. Or like oil and water, depending on the circumstances. Together they were sexy, combustible, incendiary, fierce, emotional, dramatic, hurtful, toxic. Possessiveness was a mild term to describe what they felt for each other. And this claim lasted years!! But each of them had a huge role to play in the plot that has taken its toll throughout this series, and some roles are easier to play than others. Some roles hurt others while at the same time keeping them safe. It was sometimes hard to tell the difference. But despite time and distance and people and complications, there was never any doubt in my mind that these two belonged together.

I’m intentionally keeping this review vague because, in truth, this story is far from over. There is still so much happening behind the scenes and I’m sure the author has something in store to wow us once again. I’m preparing myself for more darkness and destruction and I cannot wait to see all of these fearless characters again, fighting the good fight and loving like there’s no tomorrow. Next up - Miles!!

2 unsatisfied stars

Note: You're going to read "I don't like" so may times you're probably gonna get sick, but really no other word fits. So #SorryNotSorry.

I feel cheated on because of that brilliant blurb and that delicious cover. I won't drag this review- I did not like this book. At all. I wasted an entire week of mine after this book, and I think that shows. My concentration is very precious, and this book kept losing it so many times, it wasn't funny.

So really, it wasn't a surprise to me when I decided I did not like this book, long before I actually reached the ending.

There are a couple of reasons for that of course:

Amo Jones's writing was very amateur. This was probably the major factor. A couple of chapters into the book, I realized her writing style and I don't match. I would say it was me and not you, but it actually was Amo. Her writing is very bland and gets repetitive after a while. And really, while I'm not a grammar nazi, I prefer a good grammar in the books I read.
Phrases like "Frost and I's love" threw me off track. "Frost and my love" works just fine if not even better. And honestly, if it was used once, I might have even forgotten about it thinking it was a mistake that was overlooked, but the second time it was written in, I realized that nah, Amo and I are not compatible. Plus the haphazard shifting from present to past was executed so fucking choppily, I felt like banging my head. Also they were effing pointless and served no purpose, so I don't understand why they had to be there at all.

Ella. I don't like Ella. I don't wanna explain why I don't like Ella but I will. She was very abrupt, and honestly, not a very strong character. I felt all the important bits where I could've connected with her were glossed over, and yes while it's not her fault, I don't have anywhere else to point fingers at. She ran after getting pregnant. Was this written in the story line even though the act was in the present? No, we get that little tidbit 3 years after it happened in just a mere statement. These are situations where the reader gets emotionally tethered to the story, but I guess Amo forgot the memo (unintentional rhyme alert!). We are not given any motivations as to why she ran other than she was scared of Frost, to which I'll say we were not given any reason WHY she was scared. She was confident in her skill as a fighter so I'm really confused about that. And kind of put off honestly.

Frost. No, I don't quite like Frost. You would think I would love him, being someone who loves dark characters like him, but I just couldn't with him. I did not sense any darkness in him, or even any psychopathy. He just seemed like a regular jerk with a penchant for killing to me. And I refuse to believe that someone as possessive as him would just let Ella run like that. So I don't like him because he's inconsistent as a lead character.

In the end, the story line. I don't even wanna fucking talk about it. It was shit and like I said, very abrupt. There were so many things in this story that were just left hanging- little things that had been mentioned once and then never used again. Instead of things coming out of the left field like a surprise meant for fulfilling the reader, it felt like a desperate attempt by the author at shocking the reader. And. I. Wasn't. Shocked. I've read darker shit to be shocked at anything this book threw at me, so I was really really disappointed with this book.

I'm really sorry, I know this review sucks ass, but then again I'm in a shitty mood that I wasted an entire week after this book only for it to turn out to be a bummer, and I know that if I procrastinate writing this review, I just might never, because I just don't feel like talking about this book.

I don't recommend this book. There are many books with similar themes and an actually satisfying plotline. Go read those.

Frost and Ellas story. When a psychopath falls for the opposite sex behold love truly does exist. Ella is the sister of two hardasses and raised by one. She has secrets of her own. A rage and killing instinct she tries to hide. When these two collide explosions happen. Both fight each other and can't stay away from one another. These two are so unhinged my heart hurt for both of them. But I sure did enjoy reading when they do come together. This author writes with full emotions. No half ass writing going on here. The characters in this story are so bold and sexy. Makes me want to crawl into the book and hook me a biker. I want to say my favorite part was when Frost sees her for the first time when she comes back and then sees his daughter oh my!!! My heart just screamed at Ella.

The first time I read an Amo Jones book was last year. It was a book called The Silver Swan. Man oh man, that book did a number on me. It was just bonkers mad and written so well that Amo Jones became a favourite author to me. Fast track to the present and she is still producing books that leave me with a wtf look on my face. Her books are different, original and totally out there but I just love them. I go absolutely mad over her books. Just like I did with The Devil's Match. Holy shitballs, I was on a fucking ride with this book. A fucked up roller coaster just going up. The Devil's Match LIT me up. It MIND CRUSHED me. It ROCKED ME. It made me DELIRIOUS. Dark and edgy characters. Messed up scenes. The Devil's Match was a intriguing book that wrecked my mind, body and soul with a dangerous plot that took me to the darkest pits filled with enough fire to torch me. Amo Jones slayed me. She burrowed a hole in my soul and filled with this exciting and jaw dropping dark romance.

Let me tell you, I was waiting for this book for a long time. I just had a fascination for it. And I was freaking impressed with the storyline and the writing. It was on point. I was drawn in and my mind had heart were shipped to a perfect and entrancing book that trapped me in its clutches. I tell you, I held my breath when I was reading The Devil's Match because it gave so much depth. Insane. Gritty. Deadly. Hardcore. Dark Brilliance. Psychotic. Savage. Dirty. Sexy. Seductive. Soul Smashing. The Devil's Match obliterated me with a unconventional and amazing. The devil came to play and it sure came with a fire breathing, menacing, engrossing and nail biting masterpiece. I fell in love. I was intoxicated. I was hypnotized. Amo Jones is truly the best. Her writing just renders me speechless. Amo Jones is proving to be a force of nature and she just blows me away. Amo Jones gave me an dark intricate book with well written suspense and a messed up plot that will make you tremble and possibly go a bit mad. I fully adored it.

Amo Jones characters are always ethereal, weird, dangerous and just beautiful. Each of her characters are always so bold and just so extra that they touch me deeply. I love Frost and Ella together. They frustrated me a lot. They each made choices that I swear I was about to break my kindle in half. But they had that deep and creepy but sexy chemistry that knocked me off my seat. It was hot. It was freaky. It was fucked up on another level. Frost is a psychopath. He has no feelings. He is a dominating, asshole, dangerous and sexy biker. I swooned. His level of darkness called out to me and I was in a trance. Ella is insane. Borderline bonkers. I loved her smart mouth, fierce side and her loyalty to her family. Frost and Ella are just one fucked up couple and they just work.

The Devil's Mach was outrageous, angsty and crazy but I loved every piece of it. I highly recommend this read to anyone who love dark.

"No demons here, just myself. And I'm far more terrifying than any demon"

Frost just gave a complete different meaning to the word Psychopath.

If they're all like him , please sign me up!

The energy coming out of this book is so strong and intoxicating .

I don't even know what to say, I'm speechless. Frost and Ella rocked my world.

JUST WOW!

I've never seen something so strong and crazy .

I literally drowned between the pages of this book. I couldn't put it down .

"I look between his eyes, the same eyes I feared for most of the time I knew him, and now, they're the very eyes that give me comfort. They're the very eyes that are the windows of my future."

There where some pretty shocking plot twist.

This story shows you how really nothing is what it looks like. It's not even a bit close to reality .

Ella definitely was a pleasant discover . She held high the honor of her last name for sure.
She's definitely her brother sister and her father daughter .

She tried so hard to keep at bay her dark side , but sometimes it's inevitable.

AND FROST ?! he is definitely something else, he's on a complete different level . And I thought hellraiser was a psychopath , well I was so wrong.

There's something about Frost that will drag you to him , it's inevitable . And there's also Ella's personality will really keep you reading.

They're the perfect match , there's no one more made for each other then them.

They challenged each other like no one else , they bring out the worst but also the best in each other.

They're the king and the queen of psychos .
And you'll love it too much (trust me).

“Why would you recommend someone like me, stay away from....him?”
“Because you're both very much the same, the only difference is, he doesn't hide it.”

The lies , the omissions and the cruel actions where too much. I couldn't put it down for a second.

And also seeing the whole crew back together was so perfect .

And the connection between Miles and Ella was so good, I loved how they understand each other . They saw what no one was able to really see. Each other damnation and true colors. I loved it.

I think now Miles deserve his own book , like right now.

“That kind of love, the kind you both have, doesn’t die. It doesn’t even fade. It remains and intensifies, but never dies.”

I gave it nothing less than 5 stars.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I hope you'll enjoy it like I surely did!!

Enjoy.

*ARC*

I don’t think I have ever thrown a kindle as many times as I did, wanted to stab a character one minute and love them the next as much as I did while reading The Devil’s Match! I love dark, angsty romances and I got that and so much more with The Devil’s Match. Amo Jones completely shredded my heart and my soul to the point that I am still trying to find them so I can put myself back together again. Hell I sound like fucking Humpty Dumpty but that is how I feel. Shattered, worn out, emotions still all over the place, and that’s putting it mildly.

Frost. Oh you son of a psychopath bitch. I loved you. I hated you. I wanted to stab you in the dick more than once. I loved your crazy. I loved your violence. I loved your roughness. I hated you for some of what you did. I hated you for some of what you said. I hated you sometimes more than I loved you but in the end I loved you more. There is something about Frost that draws you in right before he rips your heart out. I haven’t felt emotions like this in a long time towards a character and I will be honest it is going to take me some time to get myself back to normal because for a while there I think Frost was rubbing off on me.

Ella surprised me. I knew there was something about her but damn when it is unleashed you better watch out because she will cut a bitch without blinking an eye. I felt for her, my heart broke for her with what Frost puts her through. Ella was stronger than we ever knew, but Frost is the one person who can destroy her and he does more than once. Now I have to say there is one part that my sick twisted mind LOVED, I was like HELL YES GIRL do it do it! All I am gonna say is that I don’t ever want to be on Ella’s bad side.

Then there is this one thing, but damn it I can’t tell you but maybe I can tell you about this, oh no wait I can’t tell you that either. Really? Did you think I would spoil it for you? Read The Devil’s Match if you want to know why I possibly may need therapy because my mind, heart and soul have all been fucked beyond repair and I would willingly have it happen again and again just to get more of Frost. If you haven’t read this series yet go get it and start it! It is dark, it is erotic, it is mind fucking, and it is amazing. Amo Jones knows how to write a hero that you will love and hate at the same time.

I am stunned!!! I don't know how Amo's mind works but it is BRILLIANT!! I loved this book for Ella and Frost sooo much I didn't want it to end.

These 2 are enigmas on their own, but watch out world when they are together they are the perfect crazy!! I loved how we all know you don't have to be blood to be family and this book shows so many facets of this. Things are always what they seem!

I love having most of the characters from the previous books involved in this one. I can't wait for more forking awesome words from the mind forking QUEEN!!!!!! Yeah had to change some words to make it appropriate for other review sites!!!

The Devil's match picks up where Razing Grace part 2 left us. Make sure you have read Razing Grace part 1 and 2 before reading the Devil's match. This is also book 5 in the Devil's Own series. Yes they are both interlinked

Now before I start with my review let me just say I've always been intreged by Frost' s character.
What I didn't expect was how perfectly Amo's perception of Ella would be.
Ella is badass and I loved her character. She truely is Princess of darkness.😈☠

"One Mississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi…."

Ella McKenna is the sister of Raze, 000, the executioner, Miles (her brother by choice) and Beast the International president of The Devil’s Own MC.

In this book we get to know Ella and her dark side and when i say dark side I mean her demons come out to play. 😈😈

So Ella is sent to the the Devils own clubhouse to protect her from the raging war against the Army.
That's when she see's Frost (Lyle Caine Walters) for the first time.. All her survival instincts kicked in and she couldn't understand why.
The dark chemistry between the two is scortching HOT 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The mind games they play are erotic AF.
Honestly there is no better Match for the devil than the Princess of Darkness.

I will leave this review short so that im not giving anything away. You need to read this book just one click.

"I was Ella McKenna, my eye’s didn’t fucking flutter, they put the fear of life into men three times my size right before I ended their life."

“Ever fucked a psychopath?” “I don’t know,” I countered,“Have you?”

I loved this book, it's dark on so many levels. I can't wait to see what Amo does in the next book. One click you wont regret it.

I honestly have no words. What else can be said about an Amo Jones book that I haven't already said in the past. This woman is brilliant. She can paint a picture with her words and pretty much make you feel every emotion in the book. After reading Frost and Ella's book I feel like my heart has been through the wringer. I laughed, I cried, I cheered, I swooned and I fanned myself..noone can wrote like this author. She does the damn thing every time and totally exceeds your expectations. I loved this book and honestly never wanted it to end!!

The Devil's Match continues the storyline of the previous four books in the series and in all honesty is probably the best in the series. I floved Frost and Ella as they were amazing. Their chemistry was fiery and their passion hot AF. Separately they were explosive, but together they burned the whole world down. Personally my favorite part of the book was Ella. She blows up the typical sterotype of what a heroine should be and instead is a complete badass in a strong and sassy package. She made the strongest impression on a man that does not feel and completely changed his life. In addition, I loved that besides her obvious physical beauty, her true beauty was a reflection of her own heartfelt devotion and commitment to her family and friends. She is one of my most favorite heroines I've ever read to date.

All in all, this book was so so angsty, addicting and consuming and just when you think you had everything figured out: BOOM go your assumptions. The way this author weaves her words into intricate plotlines, she leads us on a rollercoaster we are not ready to get off of. She killed it with this book and as usual, pulled an Amo Jones and left us begging and gasping for more. Bravo! 5 Stars! ~Ratula

** ARC provided by the author for an honest review **

Amo Jones has done it again! She has a way for making me fall in love with the dark and depraved alphas of The Devil’s Own series. And now we can add to that list that I love a psychopath. The Devil’s Match has been a long anticipated read and I am ecstatic that it was everything I wanted it to be.

This is the fifth book of the series and while I highly, HIGHLY recommend that you read the others to get a better understanding of the characters, relationships and situations, it is not absolutely necessary.

Ella has been surrounded by the underground world her whole life and heavily guarded by her brothers. But a part of her yearns to break free and it is becoming increasingly impossible to contain. When madman Frost slams through the doors of her cage and lets her inner cravings burst out, there is consequences and she may not be able to chain them again.

Hotter, darker and crazier. That is how I would describe this wild ride. Amo has a way of going deeper and more depraved with each book she releases. Demented psychopaths should not be so freaking hot, but within these pages is one heck of a maniac that captured my heart.

Frost is a character whose story I have been (im)patiently waiting for. And it was everything! I was not disappointed. Frost and Ella are perfection. Amo is the Queen of Darkness and I cannot wait to get another taste. Four stars.

4 1/2 STARS

I kind of didn’t really get into all the loved up between Elle and Frost as I thought he was okay what with in Raze and Millie’s story and even here I found him to be a bit of an asshole like it’s okay for him to bang other chicks but not even Elle can go on a date but I found that Elle and Frost got involved too quick. The story was good not amazing but good enough that I felt like it just was too choppy and changing and enters her old flame which confused me but it just felt rushed, now I could say that the gang made appearances which leaves you wondering if there’ll be more. So buzzed I have the three trio Raze. Millie and Miles.

I just finished this in almost a day! I even stayed up late to finish it! That normally doesn't happen because since I'm pregnant I'm tired early and want to sleep as much as possible. It isn't fun to wake up 5 times in a night..

It was so surprisingly good! Ella had me fooled as well, but how could she not in all the previous books we didn't get to see a glimps of how she really was. So that was a very nice surprise!

Frost was surprisingly nice even though many will not agree.. The only thing I didn't like was Taylor at the ending.. That I could miss like toothpain.. I was happy to see the whole "gang" again it's fun to be involved in their lives.

“Ever fucked a psychopath?”

I love these sick, disturbed, psychotic, sexy characters! Jones definitely has a talented, creative mind, if only she could find a editor of the same caliber! My only complaint about this (& all the other books I’ve read by her) is that it needs to be proofread and edited better. I could give an extensive amount of examples but most frustrating for me was how Jones writes in both past tense and present tense, sometimes even in the same sentence!
“His hair is ruffled around his head, and his jaw has to be the most profound angular jawline that I had ever seen.” OR “...been told all my life that I have a sort of innocence about me. I had dark, long eyelashes.”

If you can push yourself to ignore the constant typos (describing a broken nose as a “naval bone” was my favorite), run on sentences, random mistakes (like initially describing Ella as 5 foot 11 yet later saying she is 5‘10“), and a zillion punctuation errors, buried within is another magnificent, sexy, engrossing story!

More fun(?) typos
-“Loose but tight faded ripped jeans”
-“Loose, yet tight fitting jeans”
-“Reality sucks me back into focus and the deep pounding of my heart begins to slowly decapitate.”
-“I punched the guy coming at me square in the nose until I felt his naval bone crush beneath my knuckles, before grabbing him by his throat, twisting him in front of me so I could use him as a shield swung my aim to the man on the floor, and shot him right in the forehead.”
-“She sounds a little soberer now”
-“Frost and I’s relationship.”
“...mother nature better had forgotten to have her banana today and it slipped past her mind.”
“my brother wipes his ass with hunnid dollar bills,”

I have waited a while for Frost’s story and it is so worth the wait.

What a book it is I feel like I have been on a rollercoaster ride the ups and downs the feelings throughout this book have put me through. It is very antsy!!!

This book is so consuming from the start Amo has you sucked in with her words and these characters.

This book follows on the story from previous books... if you have not read them then give them a go you will not be disappointed.

Amo really delivers with this story... I have to say I loved Ella I might just have a girl crush on her she is sassy and such a strong character. I loved her banter too.

Frost annoyed me at times but I have to say I like him the way he was with a certain someone... I love Frost and Ella apart they are a force to be reckoned with but together they are explosive.
I loved the story the plot I just loved everything about this book.

I can’t wait to see what Amo has for us next . Each book just gets better and better I don’t know how Amo does it.

Even though I received this a few days ago and been working 11 hour days at work I stayed up late to finish this. And I do not regret it at all because it's Amo! And Amo didn't let me down. this book is twisted and dark everything I needed in a book. loved the way she wrote about frost. now I'm wishing he was real. I want my own personal frost. but the thing about this I felt like I was the main character and I loved that so freaking much

Wow, can't lie. This book just wasn't good. Besides the fact that this book is so poorly edited it's embarrassing for the author and insulting for the reader, the characters were underwhelming as well. Neither Ella nor Frost had any personality. None. Add in the part where yet another character in one of these books runs when she finds herself pregnant and I almost DNF'd this. As a totally unimaginative plot device that is overdone and stale especially since they don't even have a really good reason to do it, I was not impressed. On top of that, what might have been a good way to actually connect to boring Ella is missed because we skip ahead several years and that Frost lets her disappear without obsessing over finding her ruined the character that AJ was obviously trying to build.

I can't stress enough how poorly edited this was. The wrong word choices, like "broke his naval bone" when she hit him in the face or "yeah all that snaz" instead of "jazz" are ridiculous. (These are just two of the many, many, many that appear throughout the story) Also, names are mixed up constantly in this book. Characters come out of nowhere and disappear never to be heard from again.

I'm not a fan of this one. Frost and Ella had a lot of potential but never got where they needed to be on page to be all they could be to the reader.

This was a hotly anticipated book for me all the teasers Amo put out just Intrigued me more and i can tell you it was well worth the wait.

Frost holy crazy hotness I never imagined how much I was going to fall in love with that man. A diagnosed psychopath Frost is an unemotional killing machine and it’s easy to say that’s all he is however he’s a man of hidden depths.

The first meeting between Ella and Frost was everything I expected not so much eyes meeting across a room but one crazy soul finding another. I loved how the guys just saw a pretty young woman but Frost knows there is more but I’m not sure even he knew the level of her crazy.

There is do much going on within this book so many twists and jaw dropping revelations. Well played Amo well played !!

The anticipation for the next book is at an all time high I can’t wait for the story to continue.

5 Zillion Let The Beast Out Of Her Cage Blood Red Stars!!!!
A super sexy, steamy love match made in Hell! Move over Millie & Raze, there are some new crazies in town.

Somewhere between the Prosencephalon and Rhombencephalon of your brain, there's a locker that is sealed with secrets. Where voices are kept.

*** At that point I was already so invested in this book, I knew it was going to be a late night.*** With one sentence, I knew that this book was not being put down until had devoured every last page.

They say the average human has two voices. One, is your voice as a human. The other, they say, is your voice of reason. Your conscience. I don't just have two, I have three. The third voice is destructive, and causes mass havoc within my thought process. -Ella

Blood. the way the sticky substance slipped between the cracks of my fingers....
That's what I thought of when I heard the word love. Because love wasn't a word. It was a feeling. That simple word is said to conjure every single response in your body to intensify. - Frost

The Devil's Match picks up exactly where Razing Grace Part 2 ended. Ella is packing up her stuff and getting ready to leave for NYU after she learns that Frost has gone Nomad.

Try not to get into too much trouble. Your head count is beginning to get deep.- Raze to Ella.

But Ella takes us back to the past and gives us her point of view on things how everything went when she was exchanged for Millie in Razing Grace. We see when she first meets Frost.

Why would you recommend someone like me, stay away from....him. -Ella

Because you're both very much the same, the only difference is, he doesn't hide it.- Raven

Holy mother of God. I'd never seen a body that had been crafted with such authentic expertise, and then further iced with some of the most beautiful tattoos I had ever seen- Ella on Frost.

This was a fantastic book! It is a definite one click by an amazing author. This is not my first book by this author, I have read every single one of her books.
The Devil's Match introduces us to new characters and gives us a glimpse into what some of our favorite characters have been up to! Hey Puddin'!
Ok I am seriously not saying anything else, because I just know the more I continue with this review I am just going to end up spoiling it for someone and I don't want that!!

***I received an ARC of this book for the purpose of my honest opinion. ***

Holy hell! Amo is the Queen of all things dark and wonderful lol. I have loved all of her books and this being in The Devil's Own series only made it better because it has characters we know and love.

Frost is....scary sexy...for lack of a better term lmao. He is a character you want to beat on until he sees things your way, but that would never happen and he would just use his trademark smirk on you until you scream from the injustice of it all.

Ella...I love that she has a hidden depth to her. I enjoyed what we saw of her in the last book, but this really made her shine for me.....can I just say that when she finally lets out her inner beast....beautiful! I wish there had been more scenes like it.

Miles....Oh Miles... I have loved him since our first meeting and when I see his book is next... I screamed for joy. I can't freaking wait!

Overall the book is amazing like I knew it would be and Amo will be keeping her crown for the unforeseeable future lol.

Ok, I had to take a bit to think about what I was going to write here. I'm not that good at writing reviews for some reason. Especially when it comes to an Amo Jones book. She messes my mind up something awful. And yet I go back again and again. Because I love what she does. She's brilliant. And scary. But mostly brilliant. The Devil's Match is no exception to the Amo Jomes mind scramble. It was everything I expected and nothing I expected at the same time. Just as I think I have her figured out, she blows me away and does the exact opposite. Ella and Frost are dynamic. Together and on their own. Ella. Girl. Bad. A$$. She is goals, man! Beautiful, blond, blue-eyed, demon barbie. She really is. Frost. He has got to be my favorite psychopath ever. EVER! Their demons go together so beautifully. I loved this book. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me cheer, and it made me cuss like a drunken sailor after a four-day bender. That's what Amo does. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next. Her mind is a beautiful minefield of crazy and wonder.

Wow, this book was really something else...in fact, it was everything! It was well worth the wait!! In the previous books, Ella always came across as kind of a quiet, sweet girl. We really get to see her true self in this book, and all I can say is, she's probably the only woman that could handle Frost! Those two are surprisingly well suited to each other, maybe just because their demons play well with each other. Yes, as it turns out, Ella has a bit of psycho in her too, she's just learned to hide it really well!
When she really gets going though, and lets her "beast" out of its cage, she can be a truly scary chick!
I love the way she confused Frost, and made him feel something for maybe the first time ever. And, that she understood just how he was, his emotional limitations, and she worked with him!
This was an amazing book, and will keep you glued to the pages from beginning to end! Everyone needs this book!

Damm that was an epic book! I need a glass of wine after all that!

Ella & Frost are a match made on the crazy
train!!!

We’re then taken back to the past by Ella and she gives us her POV of how things went down when she was exchanged and her first meeting with Frost.

Their chemistry was fiery and their passion was off the charts. Separately they are two unstable and explosive people, but together they are the calm to the storm but still crazy.

My favorite person in this book was Ella. She isn't your typical heroine but she is a complete badass in a strong and sassy package all.wrapped up in one. Ella cought the eye of a man that does not feel anything for anyone and she single handly changed his life.

I loved this book Ella has taken spot on my list of faviorite badass heroines! I can not wait to read Blake, Miles, and Willows story next I have a feeling that Miles and Willow are only scratching the surface with there relationship.

How do I even begin talking about this story. There is so much going on in my mind right now. I am spiraling after reading this story. I literally fill like rocking in a corner. I sit here and wonder how Amo comes up with these stories. They alternately frustrate me to no end while keeping me in awe of the craziness that is these storylines and characters.

There are so many twists and turns, it is nearly impossible to keep up. I was reading with my jaw dropped a lot of the time. There is also a ton of drama. The angst level is high in this one and your emotions will be all over the place.

I cannot even fathom what Amo will bring us next, but I am always excited to find out. I can't wait to read more with these characters and I can't wait to be rendered speechless again by Amo's words.

This is my first book by Amo. It would be better if I'd read previous books in this series because I was missing on some data.

I have to say that I absolutelly loved the writing style. One of the best styles that I've read!

I'm known as an angst junkie, which is why I picked up this book, but I didn't get it quite enough. More angst, please!

4.5 Stars!

Amo Jones NAILED IT!

I’m blown away!
Being an author I’ve discovered recently,Amo’s words are seducing me more and more each day.

This book was epic!
Frost and Ella are a match made in the underworld and they are perfect for each other.
Their chemistry is so off the charts that I could feel the book burning in my hand.
Sexy,Intense,Hot!

I didn’t think I would love a psychopath so much but I fell for Frost. Hard.
He has a way that makes you love him even though he’s cray-cray (in all sense of the way)

Ella flipping McKenna! Dayum,I loved her!
She’s proof that not all heroines must be soft and sweet.
Her character is something out of this world. She’s such a hardcore and badass. I want her to be my best friend.

All hail to the King and Queen of psychos!
Words cannot describe how much I loved this couple!
