Ciekawy koncept przedstawienia eksperymentów psychologicznych w wymiarze odpowiednim dla laika, ale! Za dużo było tych badań przytoczonych, przez co każde zajmowało tylko kilka stron. 🤨😔 i po przeczytaniu mam wrażenie, że zostało powiedziane dużo i jednocześnie bardzo niewiele. Wolałabym mniej eksperymentów, więcej treści i szczegółów na ich temat. Szkoda! Co nie zmienia jednak faktu, że np dla nastolatka zajaranego psychologią mogłaby to być super pozycja!

في كتابه (Psych Experiments) الصادر عام 2016 ، و الذي يحتوي العديد من التجارب العلمية والنفسية ، يقول مؤلف الكتاب و أستاذ علم النفس (مايكل برايت) :

نحن لسنا مختلفين كثيراً عن الكلاب في نهاية الأمر !!

يشير (مايكل) بكلامه هذا إلى تجربة (بافلوف) الشهيرة على الكلاب ، و يشرح كيف يمكن أن نجري هذه التجربة بكل بساطة على البشر !!

فهذه التجربة قد أجريت فعلا على البشر من قبل ، في إحدى المدارس ، حيث طلب من أحد الطلاب أن يقرأ بعض الكلمات المتنوعة و المكررة ، و في كل مرة كان يلفظ كلمة (كرسي) كان المعلم أمامه يرشه برذاذ الماء ، فيرمش أو يغمز بعينه بسبب الماء ... و عندما تكررت العملية عدة مرات ، أصبح الطالب يرمش عندما تلفظ كلمة (كرسي) أمامه حتى دون أن يرشه المعلم بالماء !!

يقول (مايكل) : ألم تشعر من قبل بالاستياء أو عدم الراحة عندما ذهبت لزيارة أحد ما في المستشفى !؟
إن ذلك يحدث لأن الأصوات و الروائح والمشاهد في المشفى قد ارتبطت لدينا بشعور القلق وعدم الراحة و المرض !!
إن ما لاحظه (بافلوف) في تجربته ، يحدث كل يوم في حياتنا العملية ، لكننا ببساطة ؛ لا ننتبه له ... إذا انتبهت بشكل جيد ستلاحظ المحفزات و المؤثرات النفسية على جسدك في كل لحظة و كل مكان !!

This review will be pretty short, since I really only use this book to look and see if I could find some good experiments to replicate in my psychology class. There’s some nice background on lots of famous and some not-so-famous research studies, put in very understandable language. And I found five or six things I want to try with my class, but I would only recommend this book if you’re a psychology teacher looking for some classroom activities.

Sama teoria ze studiów, pojawiły się może ze 3 nowsze badania, wszystko przedstawione pobieżnie (rozumiem, że to książka nie dla psychologów, ale no błagam, dało się opisać więcej szczegółów tak, aby nie było przesadnie naukowo).

Nie czytałam fragmentów o pomysłach na własne badania - tak, o to chodziło w tej książce, ale może mi ktoś powiedzieć, skąd wziąć 20-30 znajomych chętnych do przeprowadzenia eksperymentów? Bo tak, tyle osób potrzeba do każdego przedstawionego zadania. Sądzę, że te pomysły miały sens, ale ilość osób + to, że wstęp do badań był tak ubogi i szybki, sprawiło że miałam dość już po pierwszych rozdziałach

A nice short and surface level book about some psych experiments and how you can recreate them in real life. It’s a decent read but nothing more then that. It only touches on everything for a page or so before going over another one. If your looking for some in depth look at psychology and experiments that show how it works, this is not the book for you. If your looking for a lot of surface level information in a more quantity over quality sort of way then this is a book for you. It’s good to introduce you to concepts and ideas but doesn’t go further than that.

It's not a bad book, but its biggest part are the the instructions of how to prepare the experiments yourself and most of them require groups of at least 15 people to be done, thus I'm not sure they're that doable for an average reader taking up this book. I'd much rather enjoy a book that would dedicate more space to describe the conclusions of the experiments, as those are very short.
In a nutshell, it's not the right book if you want to learn some psychology theories, rather one for somebody who looks for ideas for group activities.

Easy to grasp introduction to many fun and/or interesting psychological experiments. I did, however, feel a bit uncertain as to who was the target group, as the descriptions to replicate the experiments felt wildly different in who could/would do it.

This book was a great light read, the instructions to replicate the experiments were thorough throughout the book meaning if anyone wanted to replicate these experiments they could! Overall a fun little supplement to anyone interested in Psych

It is a series of different psych experiments done through out history. You could pick some examples for your everday socials or for your business.

Overall, it's kinda entertaining.

Nicht so interessant wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Für alle Vorschläge zum Nachstellen von psychologischen Experimenten braucht man minstestens vier Personen, um das Experiment durchzuführen (was meiner Meinung nach hätte vermieden werden können.) Außerdem bezweifle ich die Ethik einigier Experimente, die man zu Hause nachstellen soll. Trotzdem lässt sich aus dem Buch folgendes Fazit ziehen: wir sind von zu viel Marketing-Tricks umgeben.

can’t believe i didn’t review this one before! i truly enjoyed it. it is a snapshot of famous experiments meant to be digestible for the reader. i actually ended up using an experiment from this in a paper for my MA degree. if i could have completed some of the do-it-yourself portions, i think i would have had much more fun. this is a great read for people teaching psych and marketing to younger students.

An sich ein interessantes Buch. Cover hat eine ansprechende Art. Für Psychologiestudenten oder Menschen die sich mit empirischer Psychologie beschäftigen eher langweilig.
