While this one was certainly more fun to read that the others, it was full of misogyny and not-like-other-girls.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. So we need to remember that this is just a book, it is ridiculously funny. Lesli is a genius a child protege so you know that she is awkward. Then there is Magnus a hot billionaire who is confused just dealing with her, but I have to say that their banter is hilarious, so that won me over right there..I love to laugh and that will save a book for me.

Billionaires Game by Summer Cooper a favourite of a five-star read. I loved this book so much, Summer Cooper is a great author and this one may be my favourite yet, there was a great plot to the story and the natural fluidity of the relationship of the main characters Lesli and Magnus was so great, Lesli is naturally shy person, usually the youngest, biggest brain in the room, and that comes with its own set of problems. Hilarity ensues and a great plot, characters with great depth makes this a great read, and one that will have you smiling as well as grinning like a loon at times.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. This book really needed some hardcore editing. Using the term "mainstreaming" instead of "streamlining", and "wall to ceiling" instead of "floor to ceiling". There were more mistakes just like those and they made my reading of the book choppy at best. The story was cute and paced well. The characters were somewhat believable, but there things about the two of them - Lesli and Magnus.- that just didn't work. One minute she's coming onto him, one minute she isn't. One minute she's coy, the next she's worried that he'll think she's too smart? The book was an easy read, somewhat believable and it was paced well. I was surprised at the lack of sexual tension between the two. Even half way through the book, the tension wasn't there.

I received to this book with the understanding that I could leave a honest and voluntary review.

In this book we meet Lesli and Magnus. Magus has agreed to to be the celebrity player to bring the charity money in from playing Brain Pain. However the partner must be a employee of Ophelia's Angels. This employee ends up being Leslie. Leslie is looking for a new adventure, she has always been ahead of her time. She graduated high school at 14 college with a PHD at 20 and is ready to start a new adventure, she hopes with more excitement. So when these two meet there is a spark but both are to shy to actually do anything about it. So it makes you wonder what will this adventure have in store for Lesli and will both of them ever get over their shyness to actually find out?

This is an amazing book about finding love and really giving it a shot. This book does have it's twist and turns that I want to tell you all about but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

A hilarious and thought provoking read, as Lesli embarks on a journey of self-discovery after achieving so much at a young age.

The most hilarious scene was that first not date in a park, as Lesli for sure had the experience of her life and am surprised that this didn’t go viral as considering Magnus status, but I guess as he is media shy not many people recognise him.

I enjoy reading these series of intertwined billionaires that are so down to earth and are always looking to make a difference in the world. With my favourite character making an appearance and glad to see that after all that matchmaking he has found his HEA.

I really enjoyed reading Lesli and Magnus' story. Lesli felt like she was stuck in who she was, not realizing that she was the only one stopping herself. Magnus sees her and instantly likes who he sees. It takes some heartache but Magnus and Lesli end up being perfect and of so hot together! Great read!!!

I put this on my romantic shelf because it's a romance novel but I honestly didn't feel a ton of romance. There was incredible banter which was really excellent in its quickness, wit, and setting. When there was passion it was certainly steamy but every single time was marred by Lesli's inability to be a rational, considerate human.

Lesli was a bundle of feels and vacillated so much that Mason had every right to be confused. I felt that the thing with Violet was a bit unnecessary because I don't think it really made her realize her feelings any better since after her admission and "claim" she flaked out again. The second flaking moment was the worse one because we think she finally has her sh** together only to run off again. I think we could have omitted the second fail and then still had the Oliver consultation moment and the rest of the story would have followed well. The end was pretty sweet but there was not enough groveling on Lesli's part for treating Mason as she did. I get that she's immature and facing a difficult moment in her life where she gets to decide who and what she wants to be but that's no excuse for her treatment of him.

Another thing that was a bit over the top was the Violet scene at the party...it wasn't actually funny enough and it ended up being awkward even if it was a segue to Lesli's first confession. A whole third of the book could have done with a bit more thought and consideration to make the story really sink deep and create situations that felt organic and meaningful rather than sensational fluff that just annoyed.

With the synopsis mentioning the game show I was expecting a lot more from that, maybe some tension, confessions, and bonding done through their trials there but there was none of that. It was as if the whole game show was thrown in to give the genesis of their meeting validation rather than be an important plot point.

Overall it was an entertaining story that had some really likable moments but the actual romance was lacking. I wished for Mason's POV and some streamlining as well as a bit more depth to Lesli.

Read and willingly reviewed this ARC from the author via Booksprout.

The Game of Love

Becoming an adult isn’t an easy journey for anyone. For Lesli Cabot, a 23-yr-old beauty with a slender, tall body and soft brown hair and eyes, with her loving mother’s support, has faced the natural process of physical and emotional metamorphosis. But what has added to the natural challenge of her physical and emotional evolution to adulthood was that her intellectual acumen had galloped decades ahead. She was an intellectual adult in the emotional and physical body of a child. But, having cousin Lacey as a member of the household providing companionship and friendship, had not removed Lesli’s precocious intellectual uniqueness, but Lacey had provided Lesli with a loving companion to assist the younger cousin in navigating a social world where Lesli was clueless.

Now, with her PhD in World History in hand, she is headed to join her cousin Lacey’s family—husband Jude and toddler, Sebastian, in Florida. There Lacey and Jude have opened not only their home to Lesli, but have also offered her a job working for their NGO—a nonprofit organization called Ophelia’s Angels which assisted the elderly with getting food, clothing, shelter, rides to their appointments. Recently, the organization had expanded internationally, so they were able to add new employees—one of whom is Lesli—to help coordinate the international expansion.

And, just as Lesli joins her family’s NGO, an opportunity to increase finances and public awareness for Ophelia’s Angels goes public. A competition among several NGO’s will promote not just public awareness, but also possibly provide financial support for the winning NGO team. And, Ophelia’s Angels has been named as one of the four competitive teams for Brain Pain—a competition focusing on brain power and physical ability.

Jude asks his new employee and cousin by marriage, Lesli, to join his friend Magnus Deacon, a handsome, dashing entrepreneur whose childhood and adolescence has been filled with discord and angst as the NGO’s team for the competition. And, out of love and friendship, neither Lesli nor Magnus can say “no” to Jude and Lacey. For shy Lacey her agreement is truly an act of love stretching her beyond her comfort zone. And for Magnus, a wealthy man who, since the crazy break up of his parents during his teens, leading to the airing of his family’s ugly break up and financial decline, disdains public attention. But for his friend Jude and his wife Lacey, he will expose himself to the public scrutiny as a result of his participation in the competition.

So, as Lesli and Magnus team their talents to support Ophelia’s Angels, attraction grows between the two new acquaintances. But Lesli is new at the game of attraction and love. Her one prior sexual encounter didn’t end with a positive feeling about herself or her one-time partner. For sexually inexperienced and insecure Lesli, it is clear that many other more sexually sophisticated women—including her friends and co-workers at Ophelia’s Angels— would happily partner with Magnus in more than just the fundraising game. So, Lesli’s confidence and willingness to yield to the mutual attraction with Magnus will prove to be as much of a challenge for her as the Brain Pain competition itself.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Lesli is a very intelligent young woman who has just completed her doctorate degree at the age of 23 years old. She still dresses in clothes that she wore when she was a teenager and she does not bother with fashion in the slightest. She had a boyfriend once but he was a bitter disappointment so hasn't bothered since as she had neither the time nor the inclination. There is only her and her mum and her cousin, Lacey, who was more like a sister to her. She has got a job working for Lacey and her husband, Jude's, non profit organisation called Ophelia's Angels. She is really looking forward to belonging to this group and to meeting people and helping people. She is living with them at first as they have an adorable baby boy. On her first day she sees a gorgeous man , the best looking man that she's ever seen, and he's noticed her and is admiring her too! She later finds out that he is called Magnus and that he is a self made, multi billionaire, so Lesli thinks he couldn't possibly be interpreted in him when he asks her out to dinner. It turns out that he is taking part in a tv show Billionaires' games show where a billionaire is paired with someone from a charity and he ends up partnered with her after the original contestant broke her leg. He tries to ask her out again but on a non date and this she agrees to. She starts taking notice of her clothes and hair and Lacey even notices that she must be interested in someone. Lacey and Jude set them up and they end up having to go to Magnus's home to prepare for the show and they fall into each other's arms. Magnus is so cool and such a nice good guy but he is very passionate and keeps encouraging Lesli to give him a chance as he is bewitched by her. When she wakes up the next morning Lesli is very confused and calls an Uber before talking to Magnus. Lack of confidence and not talking make a mess of things and she doesn't know what to do. Has she lost the chance to be with Magnus forever? I loved Lacey and Jude and her new friend that she met on the plane and these characters are also important in the storyline that Summer Cooper has created for us here. I confess that I am a fan of Summer Cooper and I really appreciate her style of writing and her making full use of all the characters to enhance the story. Lesli and Magnus together are so sweet and yet perfect for one another. Lesli is just a little later than Magnus in realising this. A great story with plenty of steam HEAT that kept me entertained form page 1 to the very last and I've bought my own copy already as I will be re-reading this as it's so good. Enjoy!
DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

She didn't have a normal childhood, what girl would when they go off to college at the age of 15? Lesli has hardly any self confidence, and feels that she is not worth someone's time. She is moving on with her life, her mom isn't thrilled but is happy for her, just the way mom's are. Lesli moves to Florida, living with her cousin and starting to work at their Charity...things seem to be moving forward. Well, until HE comes in anyway.

Billionaire who is not arrogant, not into himself, down to earth fun loving hottie....well that is Magnus rolled into one. He is helping his Charity out in person. There is a game show that his Charity has made it into. When he gets to meet up with his friend, who happens to be married to Lesli's cousin, Magnus spots Lesli. That was all he needed.

Names are put into a hat and drawn. Magnus is matched up with someone, who isn't Lesli, at first. An accident within days of entering the game leaves Magnus needing a new partner. Lesli is the only person needing a partner, and the only one Magnus wants as his partner. He is not one to take things too seriously or not serious enough. He knows he feels something big for Lesli. He asks her out, he isn't joking around. Lesli is completely unsure as to why he has any interest in her at all. She is shy, she is very self doubting and yet she wants to attract Magnus' attention. That bothers her - a lot!

They banter and for the sake of the game meet up. Not for the sake of the game they heat up big time, one thing leads to another. But it is Lesli who runs. She is scared and awkward about this whole thing. Magnus not understanding what is happening texts and calls. No response. When they see each other Lesli is cold and aloof. Things progress in with the game show, and decisions are made without these two playing as teammates. Then a new person enters the picture, and things get complicated fast. Battling her fears and her awkwardness, Lesli has to face the truth. But is it too late? It seems to be, and that hurts her more.

An idea to help cheer her teammate on for the final round of the game show. One that takes a lot of self esteem and honesty, Lesli makes a sign and holds it up for Magnus. When he looks up and sees this sign the walls around both of them crumble, and their true feelings and the true Lesli and Magnus shine through. This leads to the end of the game show and the start to a very new and very open and honest happy ever after.

Oh my!  I just love this Billionaire Matchmaker Series!  Well not a series per say, but they have the same characters from previous books in them.  But any who!  I just love these books.  They are so much fun to read.

In this book Lesli is young and super smart.  Finishing school with her PhD at the age of 22 is quite the accomplishment.  But now that school is over she is not sure what to do with life.  But she is sure of one thing.  Change!  She wants to have a new life.  One she is not treated as the geek girl.  The outcast.  So she packs up and moves to Miami Florida to live with her cousin Lacey.

Her first day working for Ophelia's Angels finds her face to face with the most handsome man she has ever seen.  Magnus.  Ever woman in the office is swooning over the hottest most eligible bachelor in Miami.  Everyone is dying to go out with him.  Everyone except Lesli.  When Magnus asks her out she turns him down.  Why would a handsome man like Magnus be interested in her?

When her and Magnus are paired up for work to compete against others on a game show, Lesli realizes she may not have much of a choice about him.   Magnus is persistent and tries to find new ways to get her to spend time with him.  But after a hot night of passion Lesli gets scared and runs.  Leaving Magnus to move on to someone new.

Can they win the competition?  Has Lesli lost her chance at love?

This book was funny and highly entertaining with wonderful characters, old and new.  Let's not forget ol' Oliver.  He makes his appearance.  :)  Poor Lesli really has some self-esteem issues.  It is good to see how Lacey and Misha are doing since their marriages, that Oliver helped match.

If you are looking for a steamy read with fun and romance, then you will love this book.  It is wonderful and flows smoothly.  I love Summer Cooper's novels.  All of them consists of hot sexy Alpha males finding their own HEA with wonderful women.  She sure can write a good hot steamy scene too!  They will make your toes curl.

If you want to know more about the previous characters then I suggest you read those books as well.  Even though these books can be read individually, they interconnect with the characters.  A wonderful HEA!

So pick them up today and let those imaginations run wild.

BEST way to start 2018!! An endearing, exciting, and steamy romance with characters you will LOVE!

I have become such a Summer Cooper fan! If you have never read one of her romances, then “Billionaire’s Game” is the place to start. While this is, I believe, the third book in Cooper’s Billionaire Matchmaker line of standalone steamy romances, I hope it will not be the last. They started out great with “Billionaire in Vegas” last summer and each book has been progressively better! I absolutely love the characters in Cooper’s books, but find that Lesli is one of my all-time favorites! While you can read more about the plot in the blurb, what this reviewer can give you is even more important. Author Cooper has a smooth writing style which is easy and enjoyable to read and includes unexpected plot twists and phenomenal characterization. The reader gets to know the character through actions and dialogue as the plot progresses, and each of the main and secondary characters is the type of person you might call your friend. They will make you laugh, sometimes make you frustrated and maybe even angry, but they are so true to their characterization that the reader can’t help but like the flawed but determined individuals that Cooper presents. And in “Billionaire’s Game”, the reader gets to feel the electricity whenever the characters of Lesli and Magnus are in proximity! And while Ophelia’s Angels may be an organization trying to help those in need, Lesli and Magnus may be the neediest of all its clients/contestants. Confused? Read the book! Truly, you must get Summer Cooper’s “Billionaire’s Game”! I promise you will laugh, get a bit frustrated, laugh again and totally enjoy this fantastic romance! Although I was given an ARC copy of this novel to prepare this honest, voluntary review; I plan to purchase a copy of “Billionaire’s Game” to support this most talented author. Happy pages! 😉

rcvd an advanced reader copy from the author for giving my two cents. we meet Lesli, 23 yr old PhD graduate on her way from the Virginia to Florida to work at her cousins non-profit. she meets a chatty girl on the plane, Violet, and that became fast friends. Lesli is excited for her 1st day especially since she will be working with her cuz and husband. a far cry from world history PhD program but it's a job nonetheless. Lacey leaves Lesli in the boardroom and all lesli can think about is the gorgeous guy in the room even when he asks her to leave due to a private mtg. embarrassed she leaves but not before he asks her name. the hottie is billionaire Magnus deacon and he has picked their non profit for the game show Brain Pain. Lesli's new coworker Maya is a blast and it picked to be Magnus' teammate on brain pain! on a quick snack break Lesli is sitting outside when Magnus comes up to her and lowandbehold asks her out. lesli is shocked but declines bc A) he is wayy out of her league and B) she wasn't interested in being a notch on a bedpost. lesli is at work when Maya comes in with a broken foot and lesli is now Magnus' brain pain partner...oh no!! both meet to discuss the game and in fact are wearing the same geeky shirts. maybe Magnus isn't as bad as Lesli thought but she still refuses to date him. they decide to meet at her cuz's loft to game plan when kids show up to make it hard to concentrate...a ploy by her cuz. a gorgeous house and great company leads to a round of passion but all lesli can feel is guilt and she leaves without telling magnus. fast Forward and lesli tries her damnest to ignore him and what they did. her friend violet is hired and runs into Magnus in the parking lot. Lesli has to watch the whole "cute-meet" and learns they are going out. will lesli come to terms with her feelings? will she have more regrets? will they lose the game bc of her stubbornness?

Lesli was packing for South Florida, but having no idea what to wear there, she had a little bit of everything crammed tight in the suitcase. Being very young when she started college and very bright, she needed a change in her life where she is not the oddball that makes no friends. She had received her PhD at the age of 23, so didn’t actually have a peer group of buddies. So now she and her cousin, Lacey, would be moving in together and she would expand her world.

Lesli was definitely afraid of flying. She was trying to time the Benadryl so that it would keep her sleeping over the entire trip – but not too soon that she would wake up before they landed! A loud voice beside her asked if she was going to throw up. Then the woman sat down and chattered nonstop to her.

On her first day of work for her cousin’s nonprofit organization, Lesli meets Magnus Deacon and is instantly attracted to him. She figures he is way out of her league though. But as part of a celebrity edition game show TV event to raise money, Magnus and Lesli are teamed up to represent their charity after Maya, who was originally selected, tripped over her cat and broke her foot.

When Lesli finally has an opportunity to be with Magnus, she gets scared and doesn’t let things go anywhere. Will she lose him now? Will she give up on someone who could be that change she was looking for in her life?

I love this author’s writing style! It moves along so well and at a perfect pace. The characters come alive and the reader can actually care about them. This story is about maturing and growing into the person you were meant to be – and finding love. Buy your copy and enjoy where this book takes you. You won’t regret it! I received this copy from Booksprout and my comments reflect my honest opinion.

A funny yet madding story of Leslie the intelligent yet socially awkward twenty-three-year-old women whose world was changed dramatically from the Wild and Wonderful parts of West Virgina that she grew up in when she moved to Florida to live with her cousin and work with their Non-Profit Organization.Where her not much on the social skills will undoubtedly be evident she is put on a game show to help the nonprofit her partner Magnus, a Billionaire celebrity of sorts is her polar opposite and has her all tied in knots!
Quickly Magnus establishes his attraction for Leslie's mind and body but- she is confident it will go down in flames, so teetering on the road to disaster she plays a fierce game of hot and cold with the poor man.
Getting her emotions in order and finding the right words will it be too late to give Magnus what he has wanted all along?

After reading others reviews, I am so glad to see others enjoyed this fast-paced maddening, romance! While I loved most of the characters, the plot twists, and the storyline as a whole, I just could not get over my dislike for Leslie- ( I know, it's just a book... ) She just seemed so hot and cold, lead the poor guy on, he pursued her, couldn't get over herself, was whiny and treated others around her like they were always in the wrong when they were just trying to help get her get her PHding act together!
Regardless- I do not have to like the h for it all to work out! I still followed along, with a bit of a raised BP, wanting to know how this would work, who would cave and if Magnus would put Leslie in her place or she would finally come to her senses!
Quite the whirlwind!
Once again Summer Cooper has taken the Billionaire yumminess to a whole new level!

A Facepalming Original

Wow, this was definitely fun and unique—outside the current mainstream of mountain men, virgin auctions, and bad boy what-evers. On the one hand we’ve got a super-hot, self-made billionaire who definitely doesn’t fit into the standard alpha billionaire mold. Magnus has got some serious baggage, he’d rather have pizza at home than dine in a 5 star restaurant, and he’s really not into crowds.

Then we’ve got Lesli. She’s book-smart/relationship stupid. She’s lightyears ahead of most people when it comes to brain power, and that’s pretty much made her socially inept. She has NO sense of fashion, and talk about baggage… yeesh. This chick has so much baggage trailing her she thinks it belongs to someone else.

So thru “fate” and some wrangling, our two brilliant, nerdy, sweet, and slightly psychotic lovebirds manage to discover they do indeed have some pretty amazing chemistry going on. All seems good—great even—for a few hours. But Lesli, the Queen of Denial, just can’t seem to get out of her brilliant mind long enough to enjoy their budding relationship. However, the handsome and persistent Magnus hasn’t given up on her yet. Lesli and Magnus will be competing as team members on a TV game show called Brain Pain to raise money for the charity where she works. Now things really go nuts. *facepalm*

The distinctive nature of this plot was really enjoyable. Magnus and Lesli have great chemistry, and are fun characters because of their utterly flawed natures. Even the peripheral characters in this story are nicely developed, very engaging, and just great to be around. So load this book, sit back, and have a sweet n’ steamy good time!

Lesli is an extremely smart young woman but has no clue what her future holds. She moves to Florida to be near her cousin Lacey and work for Ophelia’s Angels which is her first adventure from home at West Virginia. She meets Violet a woman so full of energy she literally bounces off the walls on the plane going to Florida. They become quick friends. Once she starts at her new job she runs into Magnus in her cousin's husband's office they hit it off but Lesli isn't comfortable with certain aspects of any kind of relationship with a man like Magnus. Magnus is drawn to Lesli and knows that its more than a fling but every time they are alone she runs from him. Having enough of it after they have had sex twice and she still won't quit pushing him away Magnus runs into Violet in the parking lot at Ophelia’s Angels and she asks him out. Lesli is upset over it and when the charity game show starts she takes her frustrations out during it and gives him a pain competition to do. Things get even more tense when she tries to explain why she's acting like she is but Violet pops up and the moment is gone. Can Magnus get through the walls that Lesli has to win her heart? Will Lesli admit there is more going on between them and take a chance with Magnus?

This was an awesome book. I was laughing at most of the antics the characters said or did. This was a story about Magnus and Lesli falling for each other but without the side characters this book would've stalled out. I couldn't put this book down. If you haven't read anything by this author then this book will hook you.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I give Billionaire’s Game 5 stars for providing me with a light hearted, entertaining read. Many have been where Lesli is with their insecurities and can relate to this. The TV game was an interesting spin that provided a fun way to make her discover what she truly felt.

Summer Cooper has another great story under her belt. The characters were interesting, their issues were real, and their story was fun.

Lesli meets Magnus at the office of Ophelia’s Angels when they are invited to participate in a game show that could possibly award the organization a prize of a million dollars. They are the contestants representing the organization. They are instantly attracted to each other but her self doubt plays havoc on their time together. Can she get over her issues and win the man?

Lesli Cabot moved out from West Virginia to Florida and moved in with her cousin Lacey and her husband Jude and son Sebastian. She was fresh out of school with a PhD at the age of twenty three. She was taking a job working in their nonprofit organization, Ophelia’s Angels. What’s in store for Lesli in this new life of hers?

Magnus Deacon is a self made billionaire inventor with a fondness for sci-fi and helping those in need. He is participating in a game show that will award the charity of his choice one million dollars if he, and a staff member of that charity, can win first place in the competition. Can they win the competition?

Billionaire’s Game is a standalone romance novel about finding your way through insecurities. It’s also about finding your soul mate. A great story with a HEA.

I truly enjoyed this story.

I loved this from when Lesli met Violet on the plane I was hooked i could help but smile at their interaction they were friends immediately.
Lesli was a timid, shy woman who after finally finished with school was on a adventure & start a new life at her cousins charity foundation although on the very first day her future was already sealed. Magnus was attracted to Lesli although their very first contact didn't start well especially when everyone except Lesli knew about the hot billionaire which only made her more attractive to him. He asked her out but she turned him down & they wouldn't be seeing each other much anymore anyway but he kept asking. They were unexpectedly coupled together for a charity game show so had to spend time getting to know each other but they ended up giving into the hot sexual chemistry. Magnus had mad it obvious that he felt deeply for Lesli but she turned him away & almost lost him to her best friend but everyone could see they both loved each other but she couldn't stop thinking she was inferior to him as he was a well known billionaire. She loved him & even after he told her he felt the same way she was still in denial was letting jealousy & feeling unworthy from being letting herself be happy with the love of her life. I loved Lesli but at times I just wanted to shake some sense into her & tell her to give them both a chance. Definitely recommend this story there's laughs, steam & will they won't they going on.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This book was a great read did not want to put the book down. Lesli is a 23 year old college graduate with her PHD in history. Lesli is a genius and has never really felt that she fit in any where. She went to college at the age of 15 and had to try and fit in. Since she has graduate college she is starting over in a new place. She has a job where she hopes that she can just be herself.
Magnus is a billionaire who is just a down to earth type of guy. The first day of Lesli's new job she runs into him but has no idea who he is. When she finds out who he is she just doesn't know how to act around him. Lesli has a low self esteem issue and doesn't believe that some billionaire would take a look at her never mind find her attracted. Due to her issues she cannot quite handle being with Magnus because she does not know what to communicate with someone like him. Magnus keeps asking her out but she keeps denying him the her company. Adventurously she ends up in his company when she has to do a game show with him as his partner. Does Lesli ever really let her guard down around Magnus? Will she finally give them a chance to get to know each other or will she remain stubborn?
This book is a really cute romance book where two people are trying to be just themselves without judgement.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Ok, throw a handsome unpretentious Billionaire, an ultra smart but beautiful nerd and a game show for charity and you have a winning storyline in this book by Summer Cooper. Magnus is not your "typical" Billionaire but actually quite loveable in his own geeky and quirky way. Lesli is the "typical" ultra smart girl who skipped several grades so she was always the one that stood out as the "weird one" so she never quite grew into a comfortable view of her place in society. Moving to Florida was supposed to be a change and bring her out of her comfort zone but try as she does, she can't seem to leave her past behind. The problem in that past seems to be affecting the future with Magnus from developing. Can Lesli throw off her feelings of not fitting in to find a comfortable place with Magnus? Can Magnus move past all the times Lesli turns seems to embrace and then reject their growing love? Well, you will definitely get your answers with some unexpected bumps and side turns along the way. This was an easy read and the little bonus Summer gives you at the end is most definitely worth reading this book.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Lesli an extra smart girl, with skipped grades and early earned PhD moves from West Virginia to South Florida, to work for Non Profit Organisation Ophelia Angels, where she meets Magnus Deacon an inventor, teetotaler billionaire. For a game show including Brain and Brawls, an billionaire have to participate with an organisation. Lesli's cousin Lacey and her husband Jude take care for the organisation which was founded by Jude's father Oliver, who is friend of Magnus, which makes them to work together. Magnus and Lesli, both are impressed by other's brain and body, its insta love for Magnus, but Lesli is hesitant to accept as she always underestimates herself. Well, when there more than one Matchmakers to give a push to her, they do have their happily ever after. I liked Magnus than Lesli, he is spontaneous and open about his heart, really not a guy with a reputation of womanizing, but calm and controlled, whereas Lesli, though she is intelligent, too much of guarding only hurts others, also she has too many insecurities and don't act according to her heart. This was an amazing written book, which stole my heart, with all its characters.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. As always, Summer has done it again. I loved it! This book pulled me in from the beginning and I couldn't put it down. A man always loves a chase and Lesli sure gave Magnus one. Lesli moved to South Florida to stay with her cousin Lacey after graduate school. She has a job lined up at Ophelia's Angels. Jude, Lacey's husband, has a secret about a charity. They are doing Brain Pain Game charity episode. Magnus Deacon is a billionaire that has agreed to be in the game. Maya, their project coordinator was chosen to be his partner but she broke her foot and is unable to do anything. Jude chose Lesli to be Magnus's partner. She really didn't want to be his partner. Jude convinced her. Magnus asked Lesli out several times but Lesli said no. She finally agreed to go out with Magnus on a professional level. She ended up at his house and one thing led to another. When she woke up in his bed, she panicked and ran out. She was embarrassed that she had slept with him but refused to date him. What will Magnus think of Lesli? Will Magnus and Lesli get together?

Just like most of all Summer Cooper books I read this one just as quickly. I loved the dialogue and laughed throughout its entirety. The characters were easily likable and relatable. I wanted to meet these people and hang out for an extended amount of time, and that's saying a lot considering I'm a bit antisocial LOL. As much as I enjoyed this book, two aspects bothered me. One I missed the chapters alternating between the two lead characters that are hooking up. I love reading the male's perspective and seeing how each of them responds to or thinks about the other.and the other thing that had me fuming in some parts was Lesli her self. I get and ultimately understand self-doubt, not believing someone could be into you, or ever wry of their intentions, but she drove me bananas with her insecurities. Fool me once okay, though hers was borderline inexcusable. If I were Magnus, I would've been considered giving up on her, maybe if I knew more of how he felt I would've like Lesli more. I still recommend reading this story.

I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts Arc.

Lesli is paired with Magnus for this game show that would benefit a charity. Magnus keeps asking Lesli to dinner she refused. Finally he gets her to meet with her at the park. Lesli is attracted to Magnus but she was afraid he was way out of her league. Magnus and Lesli finally spend the night together and she runs the next morning. Lesli tries to stay away from Magnus. Meanwhile she told her friend Violet that she was in the game show with Magnus and nothing else. Violet had been looking for a job so Lesli talked to her brother in law and they could work together. Meanwhile Violet meets Magnus and starts flirting with him. Lesli was feeling really jealous even though she should not since she keep turning him down. Magnus starts seeing Violet and ever since then she seemed angry to Magnus. Now she can't tell Magnus how she really feels as he is seeing Violet. Twists and turns will Magnus and Lesli finally get together or did she lose him forever

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This was the story of Lesli, a young woman who is above average intelligence and finished her PHD at age 23 and moves to Florida to live and work with her cousin. Lesli is a shy girl who thinks of herself as a nerd and doesn't have a lot of friends. When she meets billionaire Magnus at the nonprofit where she works, he asks her to dinner and she refuses because she can't understand why he would be interested in her. Magnus continues to ask Lesli out and when they are paired to be on a game show in hopes of winning money for the nonprofit, Lesli has no choice but to spend time with Magnus and get to know him. After they do get close, Lesli gets scared and pushes Magnus away. Lesli has to decide what she wants before it is too late. I liked this book and could relate to Lesli being unsure of herself. I liked Magnus, he wasn't what I thought he would be. I liked that Lesli had friends to help her decide what to do. They were good together and were so much alike and had a great connection. Good one.

Billionaires Game
by Summer Cooper
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lesli Cabot is so uptight! She moves to Florida to start a new life and have adventures, but at twenty-three she's almost like an old lady. As she starts her new job she meets the most luscious man, Magnus Deacon. He sees her and immediately knows he wants to date her, but NO, she refuses time after time...it's soooo frustrating. She wants him, but she doesn't. She makes excuses in her mind that they are too different, that they're not in the same social class, that she doesn't want to go out with him and be a "one and done". When she's paired up to work with him on charity game show, she has a hard time with all the nonsense going on in her head. Will she ever wise up and smell the coffee? Everyone loves her except her! With her self sabotaging and poor self esteem it's just crazy. But fortunately, not everyone responds to her that way, especially not Magnus; but it was touch and go there for awhile. Good story despite the frustration.
