English Reader's Wonderland is a series of reading texts for people studying English as a foreign language (EFL, ESL, ESOL, etc). This reader's guide is a companion to a book by the English Writer Roald Dahl, entitled THE MAGIC FINGER. Like Roald Dahl's most famous book, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, it is a book for children of all ages. This reader's guide contains a very extensive glossary of all the vocabulary items that might present difficulty to a foreign or limited-English-speaking reader. The glossary is complete enough to enable even fairly low-level students to read and enjoy this wonderful story about a little girl who has magic powers, and uses them to change her world for the better. There are supplementary notes for those wishing to do more vocabulary study.
