Going undercover is never simple. When agent Jane George of the DEA is sent under at an elite boarding school, simplicity is out the window. Not only is she instructed to infiltrate the dealer and discover the supplier, but she has to do it as a student instead of a teacher. Who on earth is going to believe that she’s a kid? And to top it all off the hot math teacher seems dead set on sniffing out her real story.

When her entire department is threatened and their futures depend upon her success, the only thing she can do is push forward and do it her own way, even if that means getting into trouble and facing whatever discipline that hot math teacher has to give her.

Publisher’s Note: This romantic mystery includes elements of domestic discipline and explicit themes.

SECRETS, LIES, AND UNDERCOVER AGENTS

Wow, what an amazing story that gives the reader a page-turning thriller. Mystery, suspense, secrets, action, adventure, lies, deceit, undercover, and more comprise this tale.

Agent Jane George is with the DEA but in a fact-gathering position. She goes in undercover, and her job is to obtain facts and then sit back while tactical field agents complete the bust. What starts as Jane running through jungle areas of South America to get to her extraction site after her partner comprised them, will also having her leave a dead FBI agent behind. Six months of undercover work destroyed.

The plot will have Jane’s new assignment to go into a private school as a sixteen-year-old student and be under the rules of the school, attending classes, and trying to discover more about the death of one student and the drug problem at the school.

The story is a twisting roller-coaster ride of undercover work, dealing with school rules of no cell phones, only allowed to leave with a pass, keeping her computer hidden, and listening and learning. The DEA knows that drugs are at the school, but some of the students and their ties to high ranking officials make the task difficult.

There is an unusual connection between Jane and the math teacher, Dr. Conrad Thomas. Her behavior will have him confused and even start thinking that maybe she is a journalist trying to get a story. Several times he has caught her and even punished her for her misbehavior with permission of her Aunt, who is actually her DEA contact. Imagine this, Jane is old enough to have graduated college, been married and widowed, and working for a while for the DEA and now she must act like a sixteen-year-old and follow the rules. She loses so many cell phones in the process and is even spanked multiple times for it.

The story will take on life and death scenarios and has many intense scenes. Not everyone you think you can trust is trustworthy. Jane George goes over and beyond what is her level of intel when other students lives are in jeopardy. The story is also two people, Jane and Conrad, trying to figure each other out and the challenges they must face before and after knowing the truth about her position. While he is thrilled she isn’t a student, but actually a consenting adult, he is also upset and feels like she could have been honest with him. No matter what, she kept to her role until it became the lives of two of the students.

There will be other agents from various agencies that play critical roles in the story, and you can’t help but love them. While there are several spanking scenes, the one sex scene was mild. The story is more the mystery and suspense of the case. I look forward to me in the Federal Hellions series.

I love the characters in this book. And there are quite a few to keep track of, but it is worth it. There is definitely action and mystery. What to say about heroine- Jane George. And a heroine she really is. She is feisty, completely capable, but also adorable and befuddled by her undercover assignment in an upscale private school, especially due to the attentions of Dr. Conrad Thomas. Dr. Thomas is just as confused by his feelings about student Jane George. I love the antics follow Jane and the combination of her take no prisoners attitude and her great big heart. This is a definitely a 5 star read! The title suggests more book to follow in the series and I am definitely looking forward to them.

Jane is undercover at a boarding school posing as one of the students. What she did not take into account is the insane attraction she feels for Conrad who is a teacher at the school. When he finds her snooping around it earns her a very hot bottom.

The storyline was very interesting and there were a lot of twists and turns. The plot kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. Sadly, there was little to no intimacy and I also felt the spanking scenes were lacking some bit of spice. Nevertheless the characters and the suspense and mystery is was drew me into the story so that I enjoyed reading the book. I look forward to the next book of this series.

The sexual chemistry is thick at times between Jane
and Doctors Conrad Thomas,a definite no,no.Thomas
is one of Jane's teachers where she is working undercover
at a private elite school.Jane finds herself over his knees
or desk whenever she breaks school rules, which is often.
Thomas is hurt when he finds out the truth and danger
Jane is in but love prevails. This plot is packed full of
surprises you need to read for yourself.

What an absolutely delightful and entertaining book this was by Gray Gardner. I loved the story, the characters, and the whole tone of the saga as it unfolded with all its funny, charming, and sometimes serious moments. At its heart, it was a story about an undercover agent seeking the truth at a private girls' school where corporal punishment was often hinted at during the story, but it was also about a developing love between two of the characters. I would sincerely hope there will be more books in the Federal Hellions series by Gardner. This is a voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Blushing Books.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. Jane George is a DEA agent going undercover at a private school which means she is now a teenager. It also means any attraction she feels for Professor Thomas has to be hidden. That also goes for Conrad Thomas who see a sneaky, wily, very smart teenager whose behavior totally confounds him. Smoking out a cartel is dangerous business and at this school, sneaking around can get your bum burned.
Spanking suspense romance.

I don't remember reading anything from this author before but after reading this I think she's one of my new favourites. I just loved it! From the characters to the story to the insights into what each character is thinking, this was a wonderful read all the way through. If this is what the start of the series is like, I can't wait for the rest. New favourite
