I remember when I, eighteen-year-old Anaya Matthew was human. Days ago, my little brother Richie came across a hidden cellar on our Grandfathers property in the woods of Dayton California. Inside, we were attacked by machines called "Twelve and Two", failed government experiments branded with a logo, "H.E.R.O.S".
And we are running out of time.
The experiments are taking over our bodies, but Richie and his genius wierdo friends think there's a cure. I pray they find the cure in time before I'm forced to leave all I know to a world of heroes, and villains.
