“I don’t want to be a virgin on my wedding night.”
When Julia asks Mr. Blackwell to teach her everything there is to pleasing a man, and ultimately taking her innocence, he is intrigued.
But when he learns just how sweet and pure she really is, he is hesitant.
He’s a professional sex therapist—he knows his way around a female body. He’s taken the reins countless times and has never failed to deliver. The problem? He’s never had a virgin, and he doesn’t take it slow.
And he’s never wanted a woman so badly.
Will he be able to control himself long enough to give her the education she needs or will the master end up being the one taught a lesson?
** This hot little novella can be read as a standalone story or as a prequel to the Transforming Julia series. **
Series order: Teaching Miss Julia - #0.5 Tangled - #1-3 Twisted - #4 Tainted - #5 Torn - #6 Treasured - #7
Bree Dahlia is an unconventional romance junkie. Her stories range from lighthearted to sizzling with that satisfying happily-ever-after ending and a touch of the unexpected. She favors themes of friendship, forgiveness, and unconditional love with alpha characters and eccentric tastes.
Julia is to be married in 6 weeks but wants to know all about how to please her husband sexually. Mr Blackwell, a psychotherapist is the man she asks to teach her. Julia has been raised by her puritanical parents and all she knows are her inhibitions. Mr Blackwell brings Julia through a series of touch and sight experiences so that Julia can shed some of her fears and experience what sexual acts involve. This is done without any sexual penetration as that is being saved for when she has been treated to the sensual experiences of her body feeling new and sexy emotions and her thoughts about such a thing are voiced without embarassment or fear. Basically, Mr Blackwell is conditioning her for the inevitable sensation of losing her virginity before she marries, that is Julia's goal. I enjoyed reading about the journey Mr Blackwell and Julia embark upon, it was sexy, sensual and exciting to follow along with Julia's sexual education.
This story was super steamy but also very sweet. The details and dialogue kept me interested the entire time I was reading. The twist at the end was by far my favorite part though! I definitely did not see it coming.
Erotic short stories are not usually my cup of tea but I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and will continue the series!
Miss Julie has no desire to be a virgin on her wedding night and has found a teacher to instruct her in the ways to please her future husband in the six weeks remaining before her wedding. Mr. Blackwell is more than willing to accept the challenge but is not content to merely teach her how to please a man, but also to learn the joy of surrendering to her body's desires.
This is a provocative story of Victorian eroticism; well-written with a surprise ending.
This was an interesting start to the series. Told from the mind of Mr. Blackwell so a bit different from what I'm used to. Being that usually I read my smexy stories from the mind of the woman. This is different. Not in a bad way, just a nice change up to the norm. I'm just not sure what I think, but I do like it enough to read the next book in the series. I'm just still not sure what I think about it yet. This was just a little tidbit so we'll see.
Julia wanted to be free when she got married. She wanted to be able to pleasure her husband. She went to Mr. Blackwell to fix the problem and thru the weeks she was freed and released to soar. Mr Blackwell brought to her a beauty she would never forget
This is a series of books that have to be read to find out what happens. But I enjoyed this story and will continue to read thie series. A beautiful young engaged lady goes to see a known rake. She calmly requests for him to show/teach her how to please her future husband. He of course agrees and I enjoyed reading how he shows her!
Love makes one do odd things to make someone happy. Loved it!
This is my 2nd Bree Dahlia book. I loved them both. What started out as an unusual request for sexual training had a twist. It was a sweet, hot short read with an HEA.
I was almost gonna DNF when I thought there was gonna be cheating involved... luckily you need to read to the end for the twist and its not as bad as I thought, and actually made the story alot cuter
Teaching Miss Julia by Bree Dahlia is a fairly short read, perfect for those with limited time for reading. Ms Dahlia has delivered a well-written book. I adored the characters in Teaching Miss Julia. Julia and Mr. Blackwell's story is a fun and very naughty read. If you prefer books with no sex, you'll want to avoid this one. I enjoyed reading Teaching Miss Julia and would be happy to read more from Bree Dahlia. This book is the first in a series of book, but it can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
“I don’t want to be a virgin on my wedding night.”
“And what would you like me to do for you…Miss..?”
Julia don't want to be a virgin on her wedding night, she want to be "experience women" to please her - soon to be - husband. So ? She chose to lose her virginity to a "professional".
Will six weeks full of sessions with the hot Mr. Blackwell full fill her needs ?
Interesting huh ? ;)
Well, the sessions are hot, simple story, and the ending....hmm....really really...something....
I Loved this book. The way Julia wants to lose her virginity before saying her vows. The way Mr. Blackwell slowly teaches her all of the things that she is so desperately wanting to learn. From there it is frustrating at times. Very romantic at others. But as the story progresses so does their love. There is so much more that I want to say, but I am not even sure on how to express it without giving away too much of this great story.
An insight into a young lady's mind before she gets married. A physical preparation to fulfill her wife obligations towards her husband. Naive Julia plays right in the hand of Mr Blackwell.
When I read this book at first I thought, man this girl is a slut(sorry), but then at the end it all made since. Not to bad of a book I guess. Not a favorite of mine really.
Loved the book very much, the virgin,Julia, was very believable. The way her character was written would probably put every female reading it in her place and want more. The dom in the book is written well too. Hot Hot Hot!!!! I got this book as a suggestion from the author and was curious about what the book was about, then as I read it I couldn't help putting myself in her shoes . I can't wait to read the rest of the books. Bree you have done a great job of writing this book. Keep up the work.
