Beautiful prose by Donald Knowler to describe bird spotting with some humour along with nature observation through the seasons on kunanyi, the beloved mountain of Hobart. It is a book that I will read over and over again.

An intimate book about Hobart's beautiful mountain, kunanyi/Mt Wellington. I know the mountain so well having lived in sight of it for many years, that the descriptions are like hearing about a loved friend. I would like to have this book should I one day live far from the mountain I've looked for day in, day out, for so much of my life in Tasmania.
