After running out on Lynx with no explanation, Andrea is unsure of where things stand between them. In the meantime, while ducking and dodging Lynx, she’s in pursuit of her purpose and happiness. However, there’s someone still lurking in the shadows threatening to ruin her. And now someone from her past shows up out of nowhere wreaking havoc on her paranoia.
Romyn wants “Lonzo” to come out about his truth, so they can live happily ever after, or at least attempt to. After Lonzo accidentally reveals himself to his friends, Romyn thinks this may be the push that Lonzo needs. But what Romyn doesn’t think about is having a moment of lust and weakness that blurs his feelings for Lonzo and his strong desire and attraction for someone new. However, this “moment” may be what he needs to get over the injurious relationship addiction he's had with Lonzo…Or is it?
Depression is real, and it’s Pascha’s reality. But does it have to define her and imprison her in the darkest places of her past? With the support of her friends, she thinks she can rediscover herself and begin the healing process. There are just a few situations she needs to handle: Gunz, her pregnancy, and Solo.
Because of what took place between him and Pascha, Solo tries to abolish her from his mind and heart. However, Pascha’s presence resurrects past transgressions that he must own up to. Now, he isn’t sure if his love for her had been genuine or if it had been his way of obtaining absolution for his past.
Bad habit: negative behavior pattern.
What’s yours?
Now break it.

Bad Habitzz 2

This story picked right where part one left off. I’ve been waiting for this to drop and boyyyy I was NOT disappointed at all! Ivy came to play no games with y’all at ALL! Every question you had from part one was answered and then some! The secrets that were let loose BAAAYYYYBBBBEEEEE let me tell you!!! It felt so good to catch up with everybody. Corvell had me ctfu the whole book. Especially when he told Romyn he sounded like a depressed ghost😂😂. Oh, yall we was all wrong about who Lonzo 😂😂😂😂! Ivy your growth is phenomenal!! I’ve read EVERY BOOK by you and when I tell you you’re shining girl yesss! Thea had me rolling also. Dominique was irking at times but, she redeemed herself. Solo and Pascha smh. Two broken people who needed to come together to become whole. I’m happy for everyone. Nek ain’t sh*t and I couldn’t stand her in part 2 or part 1. Ivy pulled you in and kept you wanting more with every page. I was mad as hell whenI got to end lmao . Great Job Ivy!

Amazing!

Ivy Symone has done it again! I have coined her the plot twist queen. This book was so well written. The glimpse that the story gave into the LGBTQ lifestyle, the "other" side of domestic abuse with the woman being the abuser was, and a look into mental illness/mental health was very eye opening amongst other things. I've read all of this authors books and this one is the best of works thus far in my opinion. I wish I could give this 10 stars. Great read. Thank you Ivy Symone for sharing this story with us.

BAD HABITZZ II (A JEWEL CITY TALE) - IVY SYMONE

RESURRECTION!

I have never felt that anyone - male or female, gay or heterosexual, had risen to the level of the amazing and prolific author, Mr. E. Lynn Harris - UNTIL NOW! Upon the writing of this magnificent series, Ms. Ivy Symone has proven that she and SHE ALONE has the right to grace the vacancy that has been void for the past eight years! She has not only proven that she can grace it, but can further uplift the banner of greatness to even greater heights that Mr. Harris carried so long in his writing career!

What greater tribute can be attributed to such a gifted writer as Ivy has proven time and time again that she is worthy to be assigned the title of greatness? Ms. Symone has proven time and time again that she can pull in reader’s of many genres. Her sense of knowing just how to pen her novels to bring forth both entertainment and enlightenment is a gift which is often imitated but never duplicated!

From the beginning of this series she produced an exciting and varied cast of characters that represented a part of our society that, after the death of Mr. Harris, seemed to have lost their written voice, but with the entrance of Ivy into this genre, their voices have emerged stronger and better than ever! Ivy has brought them out of the shadows and reintegrated them with a force that one cannot help to recognize!

This latest writer’s gem of a series is one that will be read over and over again, just as the works of the magnificent Mr. E. Lynn Harris. I cannot adjure you enough to download this e-book, turn the pages of a paperback and hopefully one day, hear an audible of this exciting and emotional tale Ivy has spun for our enjoyment. I challenge you re-baptize your Rolodex of sensory glands into the chaotic and interesting lives of Solo, Pascha, Corvel, Romyn, Kreme, Lonzo, Andrea and Lynx. You are in for a multitude of mouth watering surprises.

Make sure you have your snacks and drinks nearby because once you begin to indulge in this delicacy of a read, you definitely won’t be able to unglue your eyes from the story derived from the creative mind of the most awe-inspiring writer of our time! Take your much deserved bow Ivy. I know your foot must be sore from all the work it did while you stomped the competition out of the yard!

Living In Your Truth

The only thing I disliked about this book is that it had to end!!!…I’m a mess right now!!!…I’m doing a 2nd spin in Miss I y’all catalog and discovering I missed some books since I blazed through it in 2018/2019!!!…
There was so very difficult topics to tackle, but this author came through and took us on a journey of love, friendships, sexuality, abuse, discovery and recovery!!!…
As much entertainment that came from this book, education came as well!!!…
Romyn was definitely the center of attn and his desire to be loved openly and settling for those that were not ready to live in their truth!!!…I was really shocked when and how AK came out to his family and friends!!!…
Oneta wanted to keep holding something over ppl heads and Andrea and AK took that control from her, I loved it!!!…
Pascha went through it with her family and her children’s father and I was glad she didn’t look back when Solo moved them!!!…I was shocked to discover that Monique was her sister and I was shocked at how easily her mother made it sound that her husband was abusing her daughters!!!…
I know there is more to come for these friends and families and I can’t wait to see what is next!!!…
Corvell is truly that friend and he shows up no matter what!!!…Even I was smiling at the mention of his name!!!…
Andrea and her family impressed me the most!!!…Acceptance was the word for her and her family!!!…She knew what she wanted, lived in her truth and so did her parents!!!…I hope her and Lynx are able to heal together and work on their relationship!!!…

Good book but kinda disappointed

I didn’t like how Romyn’s storyline took over the entire book—I really wanted to read more from Andrea’s and Lynx’s perspectives, which felt too brief and underdeveloped. Similarly, Solo and Pascha’s storyline was my favorite, but it also felt overshadowed by Romyn’s storyline constant interruptions.

I can tell the author tries to make certain characters mysterious and then switch things up to keep the story unpredictable. However, it didn’t always work. For example, in the first book, I’m pretty sure Anthony wasn’t AK, but in book two, that suddenly changed. In book 1, I believe AK was Lonzo and the author switched that up. If you reread book one, Anthony’s character feels completely different and doesn’t connect with who he becomes later in book 2, but I guess she made it happened. I liked Anthony in book one but really disliked AK in book two.

Caiden’s character also didn’t make much sense—especially in book two. What motivated him to act the way he did so late in the story? What was his reasoning? And why wasn’t Cassie mentioned at all in this book?

Overall, book one was definitely better.

Ivy did it again!! This book took me there Idk where there is but I’m just overwhelmed! The secrets that were exposed left me speechless. Some I knew and some just left me stunned! I’m so happy everybody had their happy ending but they definitely had to go through it to get where they are now. Love the topics Ivy spoke about: depression, same sex relationship, down low men, mental illness, abuse, and much more I didn’t miss the messages this author talked about in her book and I definitely appreciate it. Definitely recommend this book to readers who have an open mind Ivy haven’t disappointed me yet!

An unforeseeable surprise....

Book one made me fall in love with all the characters and I couldn’t wait for the sequel. However, I’m on the fence about part 2. Yes, I laughed, cried, cussed and even threw my shoe a couple of times but there was entirely too much going on. I was disgusted with trying to find out Lonzo true identity and more upset about AK and how he was head over hill in love with Romyn. Pascha was just rubbing me the wrong way and she was unsure about everything; she had a lot of growing up to do. Thea was my favorite! Overall this was an okay read; I’m just not sure what audience Ms. Ivy was trying to capture.

OH, WHAT A WONDERFUL LOVE STORY!

This story is the ultimate love story: witness the last line of the book. If you're one of those people who will read the last page, do yourself a favor DON'T!

You will meet a group of broken human beings who want nothing more than to live and be loved. In the road to finding their happiness, the characters created by Ivy Simone will make you laugh, cry, ask why, want to tell at them, almost shed a tear for them.

Don't let any phobias keep you from this great read.

Perfect!!!

The way you tell a story is reminiscent of a family reunion. Character development is always amazing and thorough. Pascha utterly spoke to my soul. The way she battled internally with herself and how Solo was so patient brought tears to my eyes. Mariah was SO devious!!! A woman scorned but soooooo twisted. The whole Romyn, AK and Lonzo love triangle was epic. Andrea and Lynx had a sista on the edge of her seat!!!! I'm so glad Oneka's crazy ass got her comeuppance!!!! Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this series and it ended perfectly!!!

Ok read

This was an ok read a little drawn out. I have nothing against gay people but the sex was a little to graphic for my taste. Just too much sex period. How many times do I have to read in one book how many times the same 💑 had sex? I actually pretty much liked all the characters except s few. Pascha I could not stand she got in my last nerves. She irked me. Please never make a book about her and solo. She had too many issues and too much drama. But I'm glad everyone got their happy ending. Except thea a

Chiiiiiiile! I didn't now whether to go into my grannies prayer closet with the oil or continue smacking on my popcorn while reading this page turner! Ivy, honey you called on your inner Queen when you wrote this here! There were so many pearl clutching moments my jaws were hurting from dropping them so much. My eyes should be stuck as much as I popped them out of their sockets. This book may not be everyone's cup of tea but Hun-Nee! It sure had me dying to find out the who's who and what's what! BTW.... despite his troubled past Solo is so Bae.

LOVED IT

This book right here will have you questioning some stuff about yourself. The Bad Habit series is a great read. You just want this group of misfits, as they are called to be happy. Romyn, Pascha, and Andrea all they want is true love and happiness. Ivy Symone, baabyyy you did that! You know a book is a great read when you all up in their DM. I promise you will not be disappointed when you read this series.

WOW!

Those King brothers are something else! So much drama and bad habits that you have to continue reading. Caiden was obsessed and territorial to the point of it being sickening. Nita, Gunz, Johnna, Mariah
and Oneka were all just crazy! I loved Thea & her sisters interactions with not only each other but everyone. I hate how Pasch learned the truth about everything but grateful of the outcome. Happy endings all the way around.

This. Book. Was. Great!! Ms. Symone never disappoints...never. These characters made you laugh, had you angry and disappointed, happy, confused and just plain Emotional. I believe that this was one of the first Books that had me looking at Homosexuality in a more Realistic light. Ivy made the Experience more Sensual, Loving, Caring, Conflicted...Real. Learned

I love when I read a book and it teaches me about people. It was amazing to learn more about the difference in each of the relationship included in this book. I was surprised at how there is not a lot of difference in a heterosexual verses a homosexual relationship. I was amazed at Pascha struggle and Solo crazy self wanted her for those reason. I hope Andrea find love with Lynx. This was a twisted, mysterious and very good book. Thanks. Ivy Simone. 😊

WOW

Let me just say this, I’ve read all your books, except these two. When I first started reading #1 I think I probably got to the part where Ethan and Romyn first got into it. I’m like nah, I can’t do this. But three days ago I finally said, “what the hell”, and came back to them. I should have never doubted your work. I can honestly say you never fail to amaze me. You are truly gifted and very talented. I’ll forever be a fan

Very different ...

I read this novel with an open mind and Ivy did a great job of getting over the different nature of this novel however , I felt some portions were unnecessary and repetitive. I enjoyed the twists and turns Ivy normally throws at reader . But, this would be my least favorite from her

This story opened my eyes to a lot that is happening in the world in the gay communities and made me love them even more but it made me sad to that it's so many gay women and man that is afraid to come out because of what someone may think and they just go on living an lie but I was so happy for all of my favorite couples and that they got a happy ending

This final was incredible and well worth the wait. I thought I would forget part 1, but as soon as I started, it all came back. I love that you make your readers think, just when we think we've figured it out, you let us know there was another angle. BTW, I loved the triplet's names!!

Great Series

Ivy Symone did her thing with this series. Even though part 2 was a lot longer than part 1, I enjoyed reading every part of it. With so many characters and the connections they had to each other once secrets were revealed definitely had me in shock. I'm glad everyone got their closure and happily ever after.
