I really enjoyed this read. It was a refresher for me and helped me to refocus on the bigger picture. We really need to rethink all the material things we waste money on today and have nothing to show for it tomorrow. For 2019 I said I wasn't going to waste money on Christmas gifts and I didnt. I decided to give meaningful gifts instead, i.e., property, Legal advantage, etc; anything that will appreciate with time. I took a lot from this book. Including the bit about living wills and trust and will be getting this done now. If I have to comment on what I disliked, it would be the typos. A fluid read is very important to the ability of understanding the intended message. Thanks for the knowledge.
Awesome! Started it and couldn’t put it down. It appears that most of the information is repetitive and ‘we heard it all before’ but, never practiced.. now you are in your 40s trying to make major moves. I ‘assigned’ this book to my 19 year old niece and talked it through with 12 year old son... I think we are on to something. Get the book, listen to the cd again and get going!
Loved the tie to Jay-Z! I wish there were more ties throughout the book rather than the first page of each chapter; however it was a great way to discuss finances with my husband! I highly suggest this as a read for anyone starting to get their money right. My favorite chapter hands down was chapter 9 and the Declaration of Financial Independence
This book had so much information that was so helpful. I’m recommending this book to my son who is a high school senior as a must read before he enters the real world.
I thought 4:44 was extremely unrelated and personally, completely inapplicable. This book provided lessons from the most important lines and really put things in perspective for me. At time, it was a bit repetitive - however the reinforcement was appreciated.
You Don’t Need To Be A Jay Z Fan To Profit From This Book
Great read. No fluff and straight to the point. I love that this author covered mindset, financial literacy and common sense. I highly recommend this book and trust me I’ve read many.
This book is an easy read. I enjoyed how he took Jay-Z verses and turned them into financial and life lessons. This book gives common sense advice as well as an opportunity to include big picture thinking around community and finance.
This book starts slow but then brings it all together for a powerful impact. Life lessons that I look to start applying ASAP!! Thanks for writing this book
The book was interesting and I like how he interpreted Jay Z:s lines from the 4:44 album. I found the author extremely knowledgeable and it was a pleasant read.
If you are trying to maintain a 700+ credit score, start your own business, buying a house, etc. this is the book to read! Love author Ash Cash genius idea to take Jay Z 4:44 album wisdom lyrics into a self-help book.
