Pl prepping. Good book for some proven vocabulary strategies. It also goes in-depth regarding the importance of vocabulary strategies. Students need to not only be taught but interact with words at 5 times before they can have command of the word. This number is higher for students with SLD and even more for ESOL students. What I loved about this book is that the strategies have more to do with the application of the word rather than simply copying definitions.
