This short book delivered as promised, an insider's guide to the road less traveled in Newspaper or something else Zealand. My husband and I will be there soon and taking a solo car trip for a few weeks, just so we can ramble. One small suggestion to the author, in next edition please expand "the geezer section". Meaning, expand or totally separate out the experiences for the mobile but over 65 crowd. Bring your parents along more often or send them out on scouting missions. Our crowd have both the time and the means as well as the needed adventurous spirit still intact even if our bodies will no longer well tolerate surfing, bungi jumping or white water kayaking adventures. All that said, LOVED this book!
Frankly, do yourself a favour and buy a Lonely Planet Guide; you will find much more information. You can also browse through some travel blogs or just ask in a local information centre.
