Sachimo es de lo mejorcito que te puedes encontrar en el BL hoy en día, erótica a unos niveles insospechados pero a la vez con momentos que te harán derretirte de amor, suma a eso cierto retorcimiento en las tramas, y Flaver es el manga ideal para empezar a conocer su trabajo, un tomo único sobre una extraña pareja con una química tremenda.

Die Shortstory war jetzt nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts besonderes. 3 ⭐️ eben.
Ich mochte das Genre „Top x Top“, die Hauptpersonen sehen schon echt gut aus und die Vergangenheit und bla bla bla sind schon nice aber das wars auch schon. Was erwartet man denn auch von so einer kurzen Zeitspanne.
Aber wenigstens gab es zwei Sidestories 🤭 Und die waren auch gut ^^
7,50€ ärmer, aber ich habe es enjoyed und Geld kommt wieder 😛

Sachimo's art is always beautiful, but I'm afraid the english translation suffered. Throughout the book I wasn't exactly certain what was happening. The overwhelming use of "trash" didn't help either.

If only the translation was better. It was nearly impossible to fully understand what was going on. But if it were properly translated, I think this would have been really good.

I read this manga exactly five years ago and I mean that literally bc GR is telling me that I first read it on the 30th December 2018. XD
I actually bought the German translation today and I had the feeling that I knew the manga already. The cover style is apealling to me so I kinda guessed that I must have read it but I had zero recollection of the story.
Anyhow, last time I rated it 2 stars and this time it's 3 stars, albeit due to a generous bump. I actually like that the two protagonists are adult men and they're messy and filthy and assholes. They know each other from high school, but they met 10 years later and this is truly an example for love-hate. They're both privileged boys who are bored out of their minds and they begin a weird antagonistic friendship with chaotic longing for each other.
Their hate-love continues into adulthood and I liked how they provoke and test each other. It's also nice having two tops who switch positions.
However, the manga isn't without flaws, mainly the writing and story flow itself is very jumpy and confusing. It doesn't read very well.
Also, I'm quite sure that there are several translation errors. By this I mean that the subject and object of the sentences are switched since Japanese doesn't always have a clear indication in who is being talked about. Sometimes the person talking is referring to themselves even though they should be talking about the other person and sometimes they talk about the other person but they should mean themselves. So really, the German translator has used the wrong pronouns and thus switched the subject/object of the sentence a few times.
Sadly, German BL translations are notoriously bad but that's a topic for another time.
Anyway, if you like two messy adults having a tense and antagonistic relationship and questionable morals, this might be for you.

Das hätte richtig gut werden können. Ich mag solche Charaktere, wie Shimojo und Kuze. Ich fand die beiden Crazy. Sie haben definitiv etwas an sich, dass mich in ihren Bann gezogen hat.
Die Umsetzung der Story hat mir allerdings nicht ganz gefallen. Die Übergänge von Gegenwart und Vergangenheit waren zu durcheinander, bzw. nicht immer gleich erkennbar. Die eigentliche Story hätte noch ein paar Seiten vertragen oder weniger Vergangenheit. So war es einfach zu schnell abgehandelt und irgendwie zu lückenhaft. Trotzdem kommt die Geschichte ins gute Mittelfeld, weil sie einfach was an sich hat, dass mich catcht.

Keine Ahnung, was ich von dem Band halten soll. Der Zeichenstil war gut und ich fand auch die Prämisse mit der Mafia echt cool. Auch dieses ‘enemies-but-lovers’ war mal was neues. Was ich aber gar nicht abkonnte, war die Sprache, wie miteinander gesprochen wurde. Diese andauernden Beleidigungen und Degradierungen zu einem Hund, sowie die daraus resultierenden Handlungen. Damit habe ich ein riesiges Problem. Ich mag Sachimos Reihe ‘Black or White’ echt gerne, aber dieser Einzelband war beziehungstechnisch, im Umgang miteinander und zwischenmenschlich nicht mein Geschmack. Würde ihn daher auch nicht empfehlen.

Mal ein OS von dem ich wünschte, es gäbe mehr Bände.
Die Story ist ein wenig konfus, da sie sehr häufig zwischen den Zeitebenen hin und her springt, aber es geht hier um zwei arrogante Kerle, die sich ausnutzen und definitiv nicht wirklich zu den guten gehören und sich gleichzeitg ineinander verlieben und ein wenig Soft (sehr viel soft) bdsm machen... hätte gerne mehr mit diesen Charakteren gelesen.

I would have given it 2/5, but 'm giving this 3/5 because I think it was the English translation that made me not understand anything. And the manga was flying everywhere, i didn't understand what was happening in between scenes and chapters x_x
The art itself was beautiful though!! Hopefully a better english translation can be done for this manga :(

It's a really tense story with great dialogue. They have history together going back to high school. One is yakuza, the other is a cop. The cop trying to catch him, the forbidden love aspect. One of my favorite yaois.

I really like this author. There's just enough tease, just enough smartness and emotional connection between characters. The storylines are intriguing and this one did not disappoint.

Interessante Charaktere und Prämisse, aber leider ein etwas arg verwirrender Erzählstil. So ab der Hälfte habe ich den Überblick verloren, was in welcher Reihenfolge passiert und was jetzt genau zwischen den beiden Typen abgeht. Ein Kapitel mehr, um das ganze besser auszubauen, und etwas deutlichere Dialoge hätten geholfen. 3.5 Sterne

Ehhhh, had potential, but such poor presentation! What with the flashbacks and timeskips and jumping around all over the place, things just stopped making sense.

Die Szenerie des Mangas ist echt toll, allerdings macht der Plot überhaupt keinen Sinn. Ich habe die Storyline nicht wirklich verstanden.

Usually I'd eat up a storyline like this but it was so choppy and the R*pe word was dropped too many times (even if it's a kink it's not for me). Anyway this could've been great but wasn't.
