K. Webster is one of my favorite authors, and I make it my mission to try to read everything she writes. One of the reasons I love her so much is because once I pick up her books, I don't want to put them down! This time was no different!
Quinn Blakely is a successful business man that finds himself raising his twin boys alone after their mother leaves them all to follow her dreams of becoming an actress. He loves his children dearly and is happy to have full custody of them, but it isn't possible for him to be there for them 24/7 with his career. He needs a babysitter to help take care of them in his absence.
Ava is a smart, goal-oriented, 18 year old trying her best to do well in school in order to get the scholarships she needs to attend college. She also really wants to attend her school trip to Paris. With her mother's job only just covering the bills, she has to come up with the money on her own if she wants to make it there. When the opportunity arises to make some extra cash working for Quinn, she jumps on it.
Quinn, a forty something year old man, never expected to be attracted to his barely legal babysitter, but he is instantly. More than that, he never expected her to be attracted to him, but he was wrong on that front, too. Ava wants whatever special attention Quinn wants to give her, and he wants to give her a lot.
They are in such different places in their lives, and Ava is still incredibly innocent. She's only a little older than his children, and they go to the same high school. To makes matters worse, Quinn wants more from Ava than just her body. He wants everything. Is a relationship between them destined to fail?

MR. BLAKELY is a ridiculous, fun and downright naughty little read. It’s a ”May/December” romance, and I use that term loosely, between a successful forty-three-year-old businessman and his sweet and innocent eighteen-year-old babysitter. The fact that he needed to hire a babysitter/tutor for his fifteen-year-old twin boys was utterly comical. While the plot is flimsy at best, the purpose of this novella is to give readers a naughty good time, which if you accept that at face value, you’ll end up enjoying this quick read.
Quinn Blakely, who we met in ”LAWN BOYS” is a wealthy businessman who finds himself in a bind when his wife leaves him and their twin boys for her fitness instructor. He’s more annoyed than heartbroken over his wife’s infidelity. Quinn is a devoted father and wants to ensure that his sons stay on the straight and narrow path and that they do well in school. He hires Ava Prince, an eighteen-year-old high school senior, to be a babysitter/tutor for his sons. He demands that she be available to take care of his sons whenever he needs her and however long. Ava spends many nights over while Quinn goes to numerous after hour business functions.
Quinn and Ava are instantly attracted to each other and while Quinn knows how wrong it would be to seduce the innocent young woman, it does very little to deter his baser needs. Almost from their first interaction, he’s saying some pretty inappropriate things to young Ava. Soon enough he’s taking Ava anywhere and anyway he can get her. There is no hearts and flowers romance to be had here, it’s pretty much all hot and dirty sexy times.
These two continuously have sex without birth control, so you can figure out how the story ends. We definitely get an over the top HEA!

His twins have 15 years old (Lawn Boys, the third, they already have 18 years) and Mr. Blakely thinks they need a nanny.
Ava, as we read in Ex-Rated Attraction, needs a job so she can go on a road trip to Paris.
She's the school nerd, so she'll be the nanny and tutor to the twins.
Quinn is instantaneously attracted to her simplicity, being married to a selfish "barbie", Ava is a breath of fresh air in Quinn's life.
A nice, sweet, sexy, quick reading.

Funny how this one wasn’t even on my radar but it might be my favorite of the Taboo series.
I love Quinn, he’s perfectly dominating and sweet. Even though he has a temper he never allows it to hurt the ones he loves.
Ava is especially sweet, she’s the perfect submissive but strong and outgoing when she needs to be. I love that she’s a bit of a pain whore, to the point of begging Quinn to punish her.
And than there’s the twins; I already loved Aiden from The Glue. I wish we could’ve spent more time with Ava interacting with both him and Anthony because those moments were pure gold.
Overall super steamy and adorable to boot!

Another “Taboo Treat” from K.Webster! This one features a hero whom has two teenage sons and they were all abandoned by their mother/wife for a career in Hollywood. Mr. Blakely decides he needs help with raising his boys and keeping them in line. He hires an 18 year old nanny who ends up not only taking care of his sons but sexy Mr. Blakely too!
In this story there is a bdsm element to it as well as a dominant/ submissive feel to it. I quite enjoyed it... although I did find it hard to believe that two 15 year old boys required a baby sitter! Lol! Other than that I did enjoy Ava’s interaction with the whole family!!

I loved it!
This is another one of the short novels by K.Webster that takes place in the same small town where everyone knows everyone. Mr Blakely is a friend of Max i.e. Sophia's father from Crybaby
and the main character from Malfeasance
.
He is also the father of Aiden and Anthony that we met in Lawn Boys
- a book that I ABSOLUTELY LOVED.
I suppose the timeframe for this book is 3 years before the Lawn Boys, because Aiden and Anthony are 14 years old, almost 15.
Ava is a 18 years old girl that will become the babysitter for Mr. Blakely 's boys, when his wife abandons him. And they will fall in love.
I really enjoyed the book, but I would die to know how Ava can convince two 15 years old boys to go to bed from 10.00 pm. My children are 5 and 7 and I struggle to get them to bed every night!
By the way....HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

I'm not ashamed to say that I absolutely flipping love these quick forbidden reads by K. Webster! The older man/younger woman trope is my jam and she does them so very well.
Mr. Blakely and his "good girl" steam things up pretty quickly. Their attraction is instantaneous. Insta-lust on deck! Whoop whoop!! The fact that she's such a great girl and the complete opposite of his ex-wife really hits home with him. I enjoyed the dynamic between her and his sons later in the story. It wasn't as plausible as it could have been, but I think the situation was handle pretty well. Overall, it was a quick light read.
While this one didn't quite ignite the same flame as Malfeasance and Easton IMHO, it's still an entertaining and steamy read if this is your cuppa. The story has similar elements, but I think the timeline confused me a wee bit. I've read these out of order, but I'm pretty familiar with all the characters, so I had a slight continuity issue at first. Notice, I said "I". This is all on me. Other than that, another smoking hot naughty read from this talented author.

Quinn, the strict, domineering and always in control male will finally see all his control unravel because of his new young and innocent nanny. Ava, the bookworm who does nothing but study at hopes of receiving a scholarship to college has finally met the one man that can take her focus away from her goals. She’ll soon learn that Quinn doesn’t want to crash her dreams, but help her to achieve them.
The queen of taboo brought us another delicious older man/younger woman sizzling story between Quinn, 40ish and Ava, 18. This is probably one of the best tease books I’ve read in a while. I actually love that K. Webster had Quinn not give in right away. Instead he played with fire until he just couldn’t resist anymore. It built up the chemistry between these two until you think you’re going to combust just reading it!
I love that the author incorporated characters from some of her books into Quinn and Ava’s world. It makes me want to go back and re-read all their books. Loved this! ARC provided by NetGalley.

Mr. Blakely is one of K Webster’s hot and quick taboo treats published by Carina Press for their The Dirty Bits series. This book is like a neat little package, stuffed perfectly with perfect parts romance and smut. Quinn Blakely is in a bit of a pickle after his wife divorces him and runs off with another man. He has two sons that he just doesn’t have the ability to juggle with life and work. So he hires a babysitter/nanny/tutor, but he ends up with so much more when sweet and nerdy Ava shows up on his front step.
I loved this story. Well written, steamy, with just enough romance. Since it’s a taboo treat not only do we get Quinn and Ava’s story, but we get glimpses at other characters from K Web’s taboo world. Also I’d like to mention out of all of the taboo treats, this MAY be the hottest one yet! If you like age gap romances that are little bit taboo, and a lotta bit hot... then Mr. Blakely is for you!

When Quinn’s wife leaves him to chase her dreams he is left with two teenage boys that need more than he can give them. Upon a recommendation, he contacts Ava and sets up an appointment to discuss a job as babysitter – a term his sons take exception to.
Ava is smart and independent and she has a plan of what she wants to do with her future. The first thing is to save enough money for her school’s summer trip to Paris. The job for Quinn Blakely should provide enough to do so.
However, when these two meet the sparks fly and the chemistry between them can’t be ignored. But Quinn attempts to do so until the longing for the sweet and beautiful woman is more than he can hold back any longer.
This is a fast paced novella dealing with the taboo topic of older man and babysitter. I didn’t realize that going in and was afraid I might end up with a whiny teenage heroine but that was not the case. Ava was so mature and she brought a peace to Quinn that he had never experienced before. This is light on the drama and heavy on the steam and actually quite enjoyable.

Sizzle and snap, I wasn’t paying attention and had no idea what I was in for when I started this saucy little story, oh, my! Mr. Blakely was a freshly betrayed and divorced father of teenaged twin boys and in dire need of domestic help. His sons were not adapting as well as he had hoped and were in need of tutoring as well as attention and supervision after school and in the evenings while he was working late at his business or wooing clients. He was given Ava’s name and number and told she was a smart and helpful tutor, and the lovely young woman named Ava was hired to do just that the same day. A lovely young woman that stirred something deep and impossible as she was sweet and kind and an innocent eighteen-year-old high school senior and he was… significantly older than that, like twenty-five years older than that.
Given the common porno premise, I was bracing myself for cheesy or creepy, thankfully, it wasn’t. Other than a few cringe-worthy scenes this was actually a sweet and thoughtful romance with lots of naughty bits and a little bit of high school drama. There was an interesting and engaging plot with supportive relationships established among all the characters after a bit of a rocky start. Ava took good care of his sons and succeeded where Mr. Blakely could not as they improved in school as well as in their family interactions. She studied French and was working toward saving for a trip to France, he softly spoke French endearments to her, bought her gifts including a car to ferry his sons home from school, and other trinkets, as she was always on his mind, as he was on hers. Mr. Blakely took special care of Ava, much better than her own family had, and after hours he tutored her in all manner of adult culinary games like hiding the sausage, find the pearl, and tickle the pickle. And it worked out very well for them, very well indeed.

There was an interesting and engaging plot with supportive relationships established among all the characters after a bit of a rocky start. Ava took good care of his sons and succeeded where Mr. Blakely could not as they improved in school as well as in their family interactions. She studied French and was working toward saving for a trip to France, he softly spoke French endearments to her, bought her gifts including a car to ferry his sons home from school, and other trinkets, as she was always on his mind, as he was on hers. Mr. Blakely took special care of Ava, much better than her own family had, and after hours he tutored her in all manner of adult culinary games like hiding the sausage, find the pearl, and tickle the pickle. And it worked out very well for them, very well indeed.

If the heroine had been 21 instead of 18, it would've been so much better. Or should I say I would've liked it better. There were definitely some 'icky' moments where I felt the hero (Quinn Blakely) was taking advantage of the heroine's (18 year old Ava--and still in high school!) innocence.
Can't deny there were some hot moments though...

Well that was an enjoyable couple of hours! It is absolutely true that these stories can be read in just a couple of hours AND they are completely satisfying! I am so happy Carina Press made sure to market these short stories in such a way because it leaves zero room for misinterpretation. Short stories don't leave a lot of room for depth of character or story and it's perfectly okay because they are short stories. Stories that just focus on the romance and not anything else. THIS story did that phenomenally.
Now before I forget to mention this ... how about that cover? I would totally lick that repeatedly! #winner There's something about a cover matching the story perfectly that really makes my day. This cover is perfection!
Okay, so what we have here is a really quick, age-gap, nanny/boss romance story without the usual societal problematic issues that go along with that. And it was perfectly done. The one person in the story that should have taken issue with the romance, took issue in a very short and concise way so as to not take away from the sexy read. It was perfect. It left the story open to be entirely about Mr. Blakely and Ava and it was blazing hot :)
SO, yes, this story surprised even me. Too many times authors will try to write these short taboo stories but miss the mark and turn them into porn on paper and it's just so disappointing! K Webster did none of that and instead gave us a beautifully sexually driven short story all wrapped up with a lot of heart!
I do have one tiny teeny aspect of the story that kinda maybe creeped me out just a bit and I honestly didn't see the point. However, that little point is a bleep in this great short story so it doesn't even affect my love for it!

If I were to describe this in three words they would be fast, taboo erotica. Although there is definitely instant attraction between the MCs, it’s more erotica than romance. The plot relied heavily on the physical needs of the characters rather than the emotional ones. Still is was a nice smutty quickie :)

After a sudden divorce that came out of left field and blind sided him, Quinn Blakely finds himself overwhelmed with work and trying to keep his two boys on the straight and narrow. When their grades start to suffer, he decides to bring in a babysitter, someone who can watch them when he’s working, can make sure they do their homework, eat without risking burning down the house and can drive them to and from school.
Ava is still in high school, working her butt off to make good grades so she’ll have a chance to score some desperately needed scholarships and saving up every spare penny for the senior trip to Paris, France.
But plans are quickly derailed when these two come together. The sparks are explosive and they both realize it isn’t so easy to resist temptation.
What I liked:
Even though they don’t get a whole lot of page time, the twins, Aidan and Anthony had such potential. I really feel that they would have added a lot more to this story if they would have been brought into the spot light more.
I liked Quinn and Ava but their relationship didn’t grow much outside the sexual attraction. Yes, the smexy times are crazy hot and for lovers of taboo stories, the older man and his innocent babysitter trope will definitely hit the spot, but I needed that something extra to make me really fall in love with them.
The little bit we get of them outside their taboo relationship had Quinn running hot and cold with little making up.
Would I recommend? I’ve only read one other book by this author and that was Mad Sea (which I loved!) But this one is in a completely different level. I would recommend for those looking for a sexy taboo quickie. If you’re looking for a romantic love story, this one probably won’t satisfy you.

Ava is eighteen, he’s forty-three, but that’s not going to deter him.
All Ava wants is a job where she can save money for her to go to Paris. She’s a quiet girl who excels in her school work. She doesn’t have much but she isn’t going to let that hold her back. Taking on this new job she’s not sure what to expect but seeing Quinn has her thoughts turning to thoughts she’s never had before.
It’s a dirty read.its really dirty and yes I’m repeating that!

This is marketed as a short, 2 hour, dirty bit, read. And this is exactly what it was. Was it realistic? Nope. But, was it a quick, hot and sexy read? Yes, yes it was.
And, here is the thing. Do I actually believe a man in his 40's can get, and stay, involved in a successful relationship with a woman who is 18 when they get together? Meh. I am not sure I think it is likely, but you never know.
That said, this book essentially tells you at the beginning that it is quick and dirty...and knowing that, am I willing to believe that Mr. Blakely (Quinn) and Ava are going to be able to make this work. Is it realistic? Probably not. But, one of the things that makes it easier to believe is a lot of the society pressures, the "you are dating someone who is HOW old???" conversations don't happen. Quinn never really has to explain anything to anyone with issues and his kids don't seem all that concerned either.
Again; realistic? Nope. Fun? Yup.
I recommend this title.

Hot hot!! Taboo, forbidden troupe, recommended for everyone who loves this! Mr Blakely has his eyes set on young sweet Ava and the way the story unfolds was real steamy and sweet! 4.5 stars for me (just hoped that its slightly longer)

Mr. Blakely is a quick, taboo and a hot smutty read. It's nothing more that what the blurb says, but it is fantastic written as you would expect from K. Webster.
Quinn Blakely, 43, a grumpy, overbearing and taxing man, who is also considerate and loving. Failing to keep everything things together at home for his 14-year old twin sons, Anthony and Aiden, Quinn seeks help. He hires Ava, 18, as a nanny.
In true K. Webster fashion this too focuses heavily on the hot sexy scenes. It has kept me captivated and entertained.

Ava Prince, 18, needs money for her trip to France, so when she is contacted to babysit two children, she won't hesitate and accept the job. She will discover that these children are 15 years old and that their father is too hot.
Reading Lawn Boys previously makes reading this book a throwback to the past, and I am even more amused about the children's age. This was hilarious, although with how tricky they are, it's perfectly understandable that they would need a babysitter.
The relationship is clearly familiar from the beginning. They are not daring to have a relationship because of the age controversy, but Mr. Blakely allows himself to feel, in the best and most explosive way. In addition also the protagonists are easily attracted to each other as we have the dominant man and the dedicated student girl. Just perfection.

I was looking for a quick read and remembered this one. I've loved some of the other books by this author, so I gave it a shot.
I did not know there was going to be such a huge age difference between the h/H. The h is 18 and H is 43....ummm....yeah. But guess what it worked. I know, I know, shameful!
The books in this series written by various authors are meant to be quick romantic/erotic stories that can be read in an hour or two. This is what I was looking for at the moment.
I really liked the storyline. Quinn is divorced, running a lucrative business, and raising his twin teenage boys. He comes to the conclusion he needs help so hires a "babysitter". Ava was quite mature for her age I must say. She had her goals set and was focused.....until Quinn came into the picture!
