Take a college student, add an arrogant good looking real estate mogul, throw in some family drama, add a jealous half sibling, add some exams, the paparazzi, a jet setting life style and that’s this book in a nutshell!

Ok ok... this isn’t a usual review for me, I like to recap what I read incase I forget I read a book, but this one left me wanting to forget I read it! Too much drama, so much angst, too many hang ups, lots of unnecessary back story, and definitely not enough chemistry between the two leading characters....

Set in Miami, Aliya Jones, a college student is spotted by James Douglas III who instantly wants to get to know her and offers her money to have lunch with him... he’s a busy man, lots of people to talk to but wants Aliya’s time... ooook... the conversation is stifling and awkward, but yet James wants more? Because busy moguls want and have time for awkward situations... the story doesn’t really improve from there for me. 🤷🏽‍♀️ oh well I tried

The Billionaire's Deal

James and Aliya. Interesting premise of a story. Kinda thought he was a bit full of himself. Cocky, and even stalker like at times. I get he had family issues with his dad and step mom, but he was just not likable. At times he wanted to buy her love with material things. I liked her. She had a backbone and I loved how she stood up to him. I can even understand her wariness around him till she started falling for him. Overall an ok story.

So much included

Well this one wasn't what I was expecting but it was such a great read. You have the obnoxious man who gets his wake up call and the young woman who is stronger that she thinks.....with those little lessons that made me smile. A full length story that I found difficult to put down.

I am so not happy, I wish this book came with a warning. I truly feel cheated, the characters were left in limbo. I praying that the author will either come out with a follow up or finish this book and update the audiobook too. I know it’s been awhile, but see the potential of this book. Until then I don’t think I can give a true response until then. I will say that the narrator was good.

😯

I am not sure what is happening with some of the arthurs and there stories.

I think they are in a rush to put books 📚out. They lack a whole lot more. Just glad it's free.

Both books didn't do it for me.

I really wanted to like this book. The female character is so immature. I couldn't enjoy it. I found myself wishing for the end. There was only so much chasing the male character could do. If I were a man, I would wash my hands of her.
