I've read close to a hundred books about money, wealth, and investing, and this one definitely makes my Top 10 List. Why? It’s insightful, full of heartfelt stories, and easy to read. (Not what you’d expect from a CFP, right?) If you are looking for a healthy, well-balanced philosophy of managing your money without being controlled by it, put Living a Rich Life: The No-Regrets Guide to Building and Spending Wealth on the top of your reading list. I plan on gifting it to all of my clients who graduate from my financial coaching program to provide a road map for their continued success into the future.
I have read many books related to finance and money but this is one book that has taught me certain things that I haven’t seen the other books do. I am going to apply some of these in my life starting NOW…
For a financial book, it is extremely easy to read and understand. Since I have experienced some of the worries and regrets he mentions, it was calming to understand his recommendations to truly live a rich life. I’m going to deliver a copy to each of my children and grandchildren.
A great primer on basic wealth management for the family. Also happens to have some great pearls of wisdom from having seen hundreds of people go thru the course of their lives. Good stuff.
Short and quick read. I bought it for the chapter on training your kids on finances but the whole book was pretty good. A great beginner book on financial planning, budgeting, etc.
