This books timeline takes place during Twisted Up In You.** Victoria married one of the most evil men in the country, known as Hangman, president of the Untamed Angels. What she didn’t expect to find, while hiding from her husband, was a new man, but this man seems very familiar to her. I have wanted to read this ever since I read THIS because it has Hangman’s ex-wife and brother in it. Hangman was terrible in this series, so OTT and such an asshole. He slapped his wife and cheated on her constantly.
Trevor faked his death to get away from his crazy brother and left Tori his fiancée behind. Years later Tori is miserable and married to the crazy brother and planning her escape because he’s an abusive cheater. She escapes and hides out with Lilly (the h from book 2) and reconnects with Trevor, but he has a new face, so she has no idea it’s her Trevor.
Bottom Line- Ok. This one was pretty tame compared to the others. I’m not sure why we got Hangman’s POV, but he was the only one that really had anything going on, but it was mostly banging club chicks.
Random- Hangman kills clubwhore Penny in this book and she’s alive again in his book.

It was nice to reread the book and revisit the characters.

I started reading and did not want to stop.
The reading hooked me from start to finish.
At first I did not know exactly what to think about the characters, but I gradually liked them with the development of events.
I confess I could not get angry with Hangman despite his violent and deplorable behavior. His violence with the women astonished me in certain scenes. He has incorporated the club's lifestyle in such a way that he does not know and does not want to behave in any other way. He has an old lady at home who is the perfect wife for civil society and also all whores that the lifestyle provides. And he treats them all with disrespect as if they were objects to be used and discarded according to his need and desire. Each one playing a distinct role in his life.
Our heroine lost the love of her life and was lost in mourning and Hangman seized the opportunity and entered her life in this vulnerable moment. He took advantage of his brother's death to have the woman he coveted.
Tori continues to endure all abuse and disrespect until the day she is faced with the fruit of one of her husband's numerous infidelities being one of her students at the school where she works. A palpable proof that their marriage is of no value to him.
She begins to plan an escape and a divorce from the cheater.
With the help of another club member who also wants to escape, she is able to escape and take refuge with relatives who are members of the Angels Warriors.
There she meets up with Trevor who was supposedly dead. All feelings that were dormant return intensely.
I liked the reunion and all the feelings evoked in both of them.
From there we have chapters with flashbacks and alternating points of view making us better understand important facts of the past and present.
Characters from the other books in the series also participate in the story and we learn of what is happening in their lives. I liked to catch a glimpse of their lives.
There was a scene with Trevor that almost ruined everything for me. ==>
I recommend it to those who are fans of books on motorcycles with imperfect heroes and unsafe scenes.
I want a book about Hangman and the woman who will make him get on his knees! Please!

==>I love it when Hangman kill a club whore!<==“You know the mother fuckin’ rules, bitch,” I roar at her, punching her in the face. I hear the crunch of her nose breaking as my bedroom door swings open.
I aim it at the whore who is pleading for me to not kill her, and fire it off, hitting her directly between the eyes.
I never should have agreed to be his woman. Not when I was madly in love with his brother.
I found out two weeks ago that Carson got one of the club girls pregnant a few years after we were married. The worst part is that the little girl is in my classroom this year. Having to look at her, the product of my husband’s unfaithfulness, every day is just something I can’t do anymore.
What I wasn’t expecting was the fact that Vicky would end up being my daughter’s teacher.
Even now, twelve years after Trevor’s death, I still miss him.
I put up with the abuse and cheating for so long with Carson. When I decided to leave him, I also decided to leave my mother. She is just as toxic as he is.
==>He was heartbroken because his wife left him, LOL!<==“Yes, Hangman, yes!” Penny moans as her ass rides my dick in reverse cowgirl position.
“Bullshit, you sent me to get me out of the way so you could have my woman.”
Finding out he slept with her after I left killed me, but I forgave him after he explained how it happened.

reread loved it again.
I read this awhile ago and love the angst. So this rating is on my reread. I read the new series with characters from this book and needed a refresh. Loved it then and now.

Good but slow in areas
Hangman was a straight up cheating abusive a$$. I didn't agree with Trevor's decision to keep that he was alive from Victoria/Vicky/Tori. She went by all names.Tori has always loved him so it was nice to see them get the HEA.

Loved it
Once I started reading this book, I couldn't put it down. Another awesome book by Dawn Martens. I would recommend this book and all her other books.

Read and Reviewed for Twisted Bitches Book Blog
Let me say I wholeheartedly agree with the authors recommendation of reading the Angel Warriors Trilogy along with Twisted Up in You before diving into this book. If not you WILL... 1. Be completely LOST and 2. Miss out on a very good series! That said...there are a lot of characters in these books so having read those prior will help you follow along with the characters back stories as well as allow you to follow along with the timelines!!
Always Was Mine (Angels Warriors MC) by author Dawn Martens gives us the story of Trevor and Victoria (aka Tori...aka Vicky). It's not often a book completely draws me into a story reading the first page, but this one did. The author did a fantastic job staying on task with the plot AND maintaining a steady pace the duration of the book. I will admit....I am one to scan ahead, but honestly this time I was so entranced as to what was happening next I never had the urge.
Trevor and Tori have been friends since their childhood. As time moves on Trevor is determined that Tori will be his!!! He succeeds in that plan...they are both very much in love with plans of a happy life together. Sadly and suddenly those plans all change in a tragic way. Trevor is taken away from his beautiful Tori (how.....I will not divulge, you HAVE to read the book for those tidbits). All Trevor knows is he cannot go back. He cannot risk his brother, Hangman knowing he is alive. If that is ever revealed he wouldn't survive. He has no choice......a new look, a new town, a new MC.....among friends who will keep his true identity hidden. Knowing all the while during these years, his brother has moved in on his woman. Taken his woman as his wife!
Tori.....aka Vicky now (Hangman will not call her Tori, for that was his brothers name for her) was heartbroken at the death of her beloved Trevor. She was grateful for his brother...someone else who missed him, a shoulder to lean on after his death. Little did she know, Hangman was only paving the way with less than honorable intentions. Vicky soon learns the truth....who the real Hangman is. She finds herself married to an evil SOB. She soon realizes she just cannot take anymore (mind you that occurred after a surprise walks into her classroom (again.....not gonna spoil it). She makes plans to escape the hell she now lives in. With the help of family from the Angels Warriors MC, she makes her escape. She lives in fear of Hangman finding her and what he will do to her but even still she has to move on. Determined to pick up the pieces of her life and move forward. Little does she know she is about to come face to face with her past.
Trevor cannot believe that his Tori......his heart is in the clubhouse. He knows she is very vulnerable but he has been given a 2nd chance and this time he WILL not let anyone stand in his way. Tori hears the name Trevor called and cannot help but remember her one true love. But....there is something about this Trevor. She tries hard to keep a distance but he is one determined man. She can't shake this familiar feeling with him.
Let me say this......after their first meeting the story goes into overdrive!! How does Hangman react when he learns of secrets his Vicky kept from him. Does he find her....does he find out his brother is alive? Does Tori discover who Trevor really is.....how does she react.....or does Hangman change the course of ALL their lives?? Who is Melissa and how does she play into this story???? Dun-Dun- DUNNNN!!!! I tell you.... freaking OVERDRIVE!!! To tell you more of the story honestly would be tangled in spoilers. I would not want to take the pleasure of discovering Tori and Trevor's story away from any reader.
This book is a strong 4.5 stars!!! If you love reading about hardcore MC life, copious amounts of sex, a whole lot of alpha men......then this is the series for you!!!!

Before you begin T-bags story make sure that you have read and experienced The Angel Warriors MC Trilogy. Otherwise you will be lost and honestly will have missed out on the journey of each character that now brings us to T-Bags.
Trevor “aka T-bags” story was one that needed to be told, and one I have been waiting to read! One thing about Dawn’s story is they have grit and they’re emotional reads, They’ll piss you off and make you fall in love these men and women in each story. I enjoyed that we got a glimpse of past characters within these pages. Trevor has a crazy life, and those in his path will have one hell of a ride. Can’t wait for more!

Tori and Travis have such a full circle story. He was her first Love he left ( you have to read to find out why) she ends up married to his brother Hangman. Their marriage is full of problems and Tori wants out. She gets help from her cousin Lily ( a character from another series) and runs into Travis. Will true love win in the end? Will Tori be able to get out of her marriage. You have to read and see.😊

Make sure you read Angels Warriors trilogy and Twisted Up In You before you read this story. This book takes place during Twisted Up In You. Normally I’m not keen on stories that take place the same time as another book but I’m so glad I read this as it’s a brilliant read.
I absolutely loved Tori and Trevor’s story. The author has written a great storyline with brilliant characters. I’m so looking forward to reading more from this author. I loved it.

Omg I’ve waited FOREVER for this one!!!! It so didn’t disappoint. Each page brings your deeper into the crazy life of Trevor, aka T-Bags.
This highly anticipated novella was absolutely amazing. Page after page, I couldn’t believe what I was reading. This one totally blew my mind.
Thought I wish I could say more in my review, I won’t. Keeping this one as spoiler free as possible. Highly recommend you read the Angels Warriors series before this one though.

I am not sure what I missed that everyone else got. All I can say about this book is....no. I loved the first three books, but this one fell way flat for me. Seriously, she met Trevor and didn't know him but his club buddy saw him for a quick second and knew it was him right away? She was his lover, looked in to his eyes, saw his soul, and meeting him, looking in to those same eyes, she didn't know him? Just, no. I don't know that I will read any more in this series.

You have done it again Dawn. I freaking loved it. I love how she brings everyone back in her books. Love all the Angel Warriors. Tori and Trevor’s story was the best. Great chemistry, drama, storyline, action, and of course sex. I read this in one sitting. A must read definitely. Can’t wait for the next book.

Too short!
I loved Trevor and Tori and wish there was more to their story. Although Hangman was nasty through and through, he actually did the right thing at the end. The surprise twist at the end will make for an interesting story coming up next!

This was my favorite book in the series! Dawn Martens did a wonderful job on Trevor and Vicky's story. This was sure a page turner from the beginning I couldn't put it down.

It was a great read. It has interesting characters and a story line that moves along. It was great to see the old characters from the other books again. Rated very good
