Ada Taylor is young, beautiful, a second-year professor of Biology at the University of Houston and a virgin. She's dated guys before and has "hands-on" experience with men, but she never felt comfortable with going all the way with them. She takes her virtue as nothing to be spread around.

Bradley Harrington was a star wide receiver in high school, recruited by Blinn College and was well on his way to the NFL until he was sidelined by a career ending injury. He decided to use his talents in the sports field as a trainer. Taking classes at the University of Houston keeps him close to home with his mom and his two brothers and as a TA, and member of the local band Two Eight One, he is too busy to have a serious relationship. All those things help keep him focused.

These two paths cross on day one of the fall semester and a friendship ensues after a rocky introduction. Is he the one she's been waiting for? Can she help him move forward and accomplish his goals? Class is in session!

College romance

This book is actually really good in terms of it being a college romance so you can expect certain things. The characters are fairly well developed they’re interesting and relatable so that’s always a plus overall it’s a pretty good read

Brad and Ada.

Mr. Harrington and Prof. Taylor.

These two were downright ADORBS. Their courtship is so natural and their vibe/chemistry leaps off the pages. So many scenes had me laughing then gushing at their cuteness. This book is for you if you like new adult novels with sass, sweetness, sexiness and a few surprises! ;)

A bit dull and boring

I really wanted to like this book. I liked the concept, but execution fell flat. The dialogue felt unnatural and unrealistic. That two people in their early twenties would always speak to each other so formally seemed strange. Reading it was tedious. It did not flow. It made them seem like a dry, boring couple. Ada came across as boring, stiff and emotionally immature. She was so reserved and dull, that reading everything from her point of view was boring. It would have been better to have Brad POV as well to break up the monotony. Plus I suspect Brad would have been more laid back and fun. As it was, Brad seemed to morph into Ada. Instead of infusing more fun into Ada's life, she sucked the personality out of him. His language was very formal with Ada. Totally unbelievable for a jock and popular guy like Brad. It didn't feel authentic to the character. The chemistry also fell flat and they seemed like the most boring couple. Brad's parents and their story was way more interesting.

I also felt that more could have been done with the Kendal character. She just seemed like a random plot device. They called her Brad's stalker, but there was no evidence to suggest it. A little stalking would have made this way more interesting. Also, nothing happened in the story. They got together pretty quickly, progressed at a snail's pace and them HEA. There was no conflict to resolve. No spice, no heat, nothing. Just a bland story with bland characters that were almost too perfect to be believable.

Funny, cute and loving

Are is a virgin. She is not ashamed of this. Brad is her hunky teaching assistant. Soon they find themselves in a relationship. Another reader said there were no fireworks. I disagree, they got got and heavy a few times. I mean she is not exactly experienced so don't expect a major a sex show. A few things bothered me. When the author was speaking about seeing some instead of sight it was site. And a few times brad was not capitalized. This may not bother you. It simply made me wonder who edited this book. Also it was lengthy. I mean their story could have been cut in half. Some chapters did not lend me anything worthwhile. Ada was also grumpy and bratty with Brad on occasion. Like chill out girl. It was not my fat,but I would read something else by the author.

meh

I couldn’t finish. Each chapter felt like it was way longer than it was. This book felt like a draft and not the final result.

Ada and Brad’s relationship is so cute. I love how nervous they were around each other when it all first started and how close knit there families became. Not to spoil it for anyone, my favorite scene in the book is when Ada and her girl’s are out for a night of drinks and live music, and learn that Brad was in the band. I literally played the song they covered on my Spotify playlist as I read along to him serenading Ada.
