Rate this book

The end of the world is upon us. War. Chaos. Famine. Suffering everywhere. As if things couldn't get worse, the remains of the Indian god Rama have been stolen, turning up in a lab in India with potentially disastrous results. Cloned from this mythic DNA comes a being, named Avatar, that develops into full manhood in a matter of days, and exhibits an unusual ability to transmit emotion as energy. But his powers are uncontrollable and he soon discovers that he's a destructive force unlike anything the world has ever seen. Masterminded by a diabolically evil figure, he was clearly 'born' to bring about the end of civilization. Destined to destroy the world, can Avatar make the right choice and save it instead?

So many missed opportunities, that's why I feel sad about this graphic novel. This is talking about Vishnu's avatar Kalki but the writers are so vague about the names of the Gods and tales as if they were copywritten and they weren't allowed to use it. 😒 This could have been better I tell ya, illustrations are again hit and miss, I feel like when it comes down to small panels in the middle pages the artist takes it a little easy because I have seen the same thing even in DC and Marvel comics properties. Story was nice but could have been better. Seems like it's the theme of the review "This book could have been Better."

But that was all just my thoughts about it, pick it yourself and make your own thoughts. I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics I can. So you also give a chance to comics and Graphic Novels and Keep on Reading.

I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

Not a bad idea at all. Cloning.
But from hair? Hair is organic, don't know how they preserved it in a tube.
I don't resonate with this Avatar atomic reactor concept though.
Mohini x Rama aka Avatar. Funny.

An archeologist who found the DNA of lord ram in a tomb but gets murdered by a mysterious entity. A great origin story of a superhuman character with amazing artwork.
