Blitz is a girl with a dark past, a girl with a story to tell.
Hayden is a guy with his own dark past, a guy in a band, a guy who gets twisted up with Blitz... in more ways than one!
This novella has strong language, some disturbing subject matter, is sexually explicit, and concludes Blitz and Hayden's story, but there is a continuing story arc into book IV. It should be read in series order. Approx. 28 000 words.
Haunted (novella) (Six Degrees #3) by R. Kitt is a book I requested and the review is voluntary. I really liked this book. It is a paranormal like the other books and is connected with the others but I liked this because it has a guy that falls for a Reaper. It is a paranormal romance (the only kind I like), with a good plot and a great read.
Wow!! Very original story. We have reapers, gods of the underworld and alien reincarnations. See? Original. Oh, and add romance of the sexy variety. Ooh la la! Also, we have friendships between strong women. I'm a big fan of strong female characters. This story tells the story from the male POV and the female POV, which I love! I like when an author reveals the guys heart. A lot of the romances from earlier times only let the reader hear from the guys when the girls heard them. It lead generations of women to think men had no feelings and men to be ashamed of their feelings. R. Kitt is a brilliantly creative author with a smooth style. Loved this story and I'm excited to read more!!!😁💕📖
Third installment of the Six Degrees Series does not disappoint though it is more edgier & naughty then the first two books. To fully appreciate the story you should read the first two novellas before this one. Hayden is speeding down an old back road when he collides with a girl about his own age. It turns out that Blitz is not any ordinary girl but a 'reaper'. She is living out her punishment for the choices she made in her first life. Neither Hayden or Blitz can forget the other even though they are from two different worlds. When it is time for Blitz to return to the human world, Blitz invites Hayden to be a part of her rebirth. But adjusting to being human again is not easy & the young couple have to work to find their way back to each other.
I am eagerly waiting to read more about the band mates of this series & the other worldly women they fall in love with!!

What an interesting and different story. Hayden and Blitz meet in some unusual circumstances. It was definitely fate and fate kept them together over time. I don't want to go into too much detail and give things away but it was definitely a unique view on things.
I didn't read the first two so I did find myself a little lost and confused at times when previous characters were introduced. It's a novella and I think it could have benefited from being longer and things fleshed out a little more. But overall, it's a good and interesting story.
I would point out the trigger warning...it's concerning suicide and what happens to a person after they have committed suicide. As well as mentions of previous drug addiction and domestic abuse.

I'm so glad I continued with this series, the story behind all three books are finally connecting and making sense, and I'm intrigued!
We are introduced to Hayden in the last book, Pretty Monsters, the very protective brother of Hayleen, who hates his father because of his drinking habits and for physically abusing his mother when they were children. It's because of his father's bad drinking habits that he hates alcohol and avoids drinking at all. But there was a time when he drunk so much he completely lost himself, but there was a reason for this and it was mainly because of Blitz
He meets this girl after a verbal confrontation with his father that left him angry and furious but after he meets Blitz, he is curious about her and her past, but most importantly, what she is.
As the story progresses, we see theie history and how their relationship unfolds, secrets and confessions are being told, their wounds are beginning to heal and eventually other people are confessing to their own secrets too.
This book was beautiful, it dealt with certain themes such as abuse, alcoholism, panic attacks and self doubt, and it was really well written. It didn't feel sugar coated or over the top, we actually feel hurt and comfort for both Hayden and Blitz. Together they go through so much but they have one another for comfort when needed and are given space when told.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, perhaps my favourite so far, it felt more mature, I guess because it's set a year or 2 after the second book.
Super happy with this series, and we learn more about their supernatural world and it's all coming together well.
Received a copy from the author herself, in exchange for an honest review, thank you!
Yet anther great read....not as light as the first 2 as the characters do explain a bit in this book as to their origins etc. This series has been a great read all up and I recommend it to anyone with an interest in mythology.
Hayden meets Blitz when he almost runs her over as she’s laying in the middle of a deserted road. Their meeting is a bit eerie strange and makes Hayden begin to question his beliefs in life and death. Throughout the next couple of years he sees her again and he can’t help how she compels his attention. She’s is emotionless and yet getting to know her demands all of his emotions.
Blitz is a reaper. She is paying the price for a decision she made long ago. However, now that the end is in sight she sets her eyes on Hayden and what life may offer her with him in it. Blitz was an enigma to Hayden and myself. She has survived things that were born in the very belly of hell and yet with Hayden’s help she finds herself living free.
I really enjoyed this novella and all the crazy that came with it. The characters from previous books make an appearance as well as those that might have a story of their own. While I would’ve like some of the finer points a little more flushed out, once I got into the story I was fully invested. If you like your urban fantasy a little different, this is definitely for you!

Dual POV Possible triggers – domestic abuse Safety – no ow/om drama
This was certainly different from the first two novellas. It is much darker story (and more explicit one). We finally discover what happened with Hayden 'that' night, when he got drunk for the first time. I really loved the story and Hayden and Blitz' relationship. Blitz's story is really unexpected and unique. And I shipped two of them from the very beginning.
I really loved and enjoyed reading all 3 stories. All the stories are quick reads (about 2 hours each). And first few chapters always left me wandering what will happen next.
Thanks to Razalii who was really nice and sent me all the stories. ❤️
I loved this story! Blitz and Hayden has a unique relationship. And let me just tell you, Hayden is so freaking yummy. And I kinda have a little girl crush on Blitz.
This was a story that grabs you by the imagination and takes you for a ride. From the beginning to the end, it is an intense thrill ride. The characters are portrayed so clearly that you can imagine them and see them doing the things throughout the book. I recommend this book to one and all.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really enjoyed reading Haunted. The characters and story were great. The pace of the story was very good and I really look forward to reading the rest of the series.
