With the brutal murder of her parents, Tress assumes the immense responsibility of unifying Genoa. Ruling a vast kingdom of wizards, sorcerers, and mystical creatures, she fights to rid Genoa of the tyrant, Gillard. Surrounded by spies and the threat of war, Genoa’s only hope of survival lies in Tress’ long-awaited reunion with the fearless dragon-warrior and the prized scholar in her protection.
Genoa was a goddess who had been captured by some evildoers. She was tortured and her magic was use to inflict harm to her loved ones. But she found a way to warm her people she just hoped they heard her warnings and that they would come to her rescue.
The book started off where THE WARRIOR left off with the failed attempt of Tress, Annna and Té to become whole. The two of a third were searching for Tress who was taking by one of the evil king's croonies.
Kriston and Anna's bound kept growing stronger as well as the bond between the three entities of Princess Tresstéanna Rose. Everyone in Genoa worked together to dethroned king Gillard and his followers.
The twists and turns the heroes and heroines had to go through was well done. Love how they were able to defeat the evildoers as a team. In spite of their losses, they were able to find happiness as well.
THE QUEEN is the third book in J.J Anders' GENOA CHRONICLES series. Wow...what an incredible way to end this amazing chapter. It was enthralling, adventurous and magical. 5++++
I really liked the first two books, but this one was the best. We find out more of Tress' background and see just how strong she is. As all the creatures come together for war, will Tress and the others be able to avoid more bloodshed? Each of the three women are given a mission that will help save many lives if they are successful. The timing has to be perfect or all their work will be for nothing. Wondering if there is some more adventures coming for this group.
Wow what can I say? I really enjoyed the first two books but this one blew them out of the water. There was so much going on and it held my attention the whole way. I enjoyed watching it all come together and seeing how each part of the story fulfilled their with the same ultimate goal. Absolutely entertaining.
