I'll Love You Always.....

Never assume that those that love you will stop just because of a change you have no control of.

Ainsley is beside herself keeping such a secret from her clan mates after being rescued from the evil scientists that experimented on those that survived. 12 dragon shifter only 12 of them left and she is not even sure if she is one of them anymore.

Security expert lion shifter Klaus is sent back to Scotland with the surviving Dragon after being rescued, to set up security and ensure their transition is smooth. Since their rescue one female has caught his attention, maybe because she keeps to herself. Once in Scotland the very reserved and unapproachable Ainsley starts to loosen up, more so when he discovers her guarded secret and his lion realizes just who she is to him.

Ainsley and Klaus

Ainsley is one of the Scotland clan of dragon shifters that was kidnapped. The were experimented on before they were rescued. The remaining clan members are heading back to the mountains of Scotland. Mary is sending her second in command with them. Klaus is a lion shifter and very good with security.
Something happened to Ainsley during the experiments. She hasn't told anyone and hides so no one finds out that something is wrong.
Klaus has felt a strong pull towards her and realizes that she is hiding a problem. He also is concerned because he thinks that other members of the crew who kidnapped the dragons to start with are back in the area.
Klaus and Ainsley have to work together to solve both problems.
Now that all of the dragons in the Appalachian clan are mated, we are moving on to the Scotland clan.
Anyone who likes dragon shifters will enjoy these short stories. They are all linked so I'd advise you to start at the beginning.

Klaus

I was hoping they would have found out who was after the dragons. I knew something drastic would bring her Dragon back and then she would realize he was her mate.

Klaus, Dragon Heartbeats #7, is filled with great characters. The suspense between the dragons and the humans keeps coming. Klaus is a lion shifter, can he be matched to a dragon? Time will tell.

Author should really do some research. Apparently the dragons live in a mountain in the Highlands yet enjoy walking down the hill to Dunsapie Loch.... A man-made loch in.... Edinburgh.

Klaus gives us our first lion-dragon pairing, and it’s dynamite. Klaus and Ainsley are complicated, guarded, and fiercely drawn to each other. Secrets abound, and Ainsley’s burden keeps the tension high. Their chemistry? Undeniable. A strong midpoint for the series.
