JJ is on her second life transformation as a ghostwriter and author. She helps businesses build their credibility online through eBooks, articles and testimonials/case studies.
In her previous life she promoted financial education, including divorce financial analysis. She is a Certified Financial Planner™ and has been a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® professional.
Having been in financial services since 1998, she has a wide variety of experience. JJ has been employed in a private bank, a large regional wealth manager, and a registered independent advisory (RIA) firm. In addition, she has worked for a mutual fund consulting company and a fixed income software firm.
JJ holds a BA in Physics from Rutgers University and an MBA in Finance from New York University. While living and working in Virginia, she was President of the Loudoun County chapter of NAPW, the National Association of Professional Women. Currently she serves as President of Women Leaders Forum and is webmistress of the Palm Springs branch of AAUW.
She is a speaker on various topics, such as divorce planning, entrepreneurship and financial planning as a career for women.
Her latest book on divorce finance, Get What You De$erve: The Definitive Guide to Divorce Finance and Beyond was published on Kindle March 2020. Her book on investing, From Zero to $avvy: A Quick Guide to Investing was published in December 2017 in both paperback and Kindle editions.
JJ lives in the Coachella Valley of California with her rescue cats, Veronica and Fergus. She enjoys hiking, museums, art, classical music, EDM, and - of course - reading.
