“We’re going to have to do something about that dirty mouth of yours,” I mutter as I nibble on the sweet skin of her neck.
“I have something in mind.”
She grins and slides down my body, her hand already working its way around my hardness.
Dirty mouth or not, it certainly knows what it’s doing.

Every artist has his muse.
Who he creates for, who he performs for.
In my case, it’s the girl who broke my bleeding heart.
8 years on, it’s still her face I see when I look out into the crowd.
8 years on, she’s in every song I play, every note I strum.
She was my only love and my only heartbreak.
And now she’s back.
With a secret that can threaten to teach me new meanings of pain.
But I’ll be damned if I let her get away again.

When Brad, The Rock Chamber Boys' star violinist finally comes face to face with the girl who shattered his heart, he thinks it’s his second chance to make her his again.
But she wants nothing to do with him.
When their respective careers throw them together however, it seems their passion for each other has only grown over the 8 years apart.
But the universe has other plans.
Plans years in the making.
Plans that will come back and threaten to tear them apart, this time, forever.
And despite his band being on top of the world, it all will mean nothing without her by his side.

Book 2 in the Rock Chamber Boys series, STRUM ME is a hot, fiery and sexy second chance romance tale that will melt your heart and make you believe in meant to be.
Stand alone, HEA, with no cheating elements.

You know I'd love this book just a little more if female anguish wasn't based on her running away without telling anyone or getting legal advice. It makes her seem immature and not smart where the rest of story she seems a reasonable great person.

I love the band tour and how the inner workings of touring on buses goes through UK.
Nice characters...even evil Silas...fun to read.

It seems like I’ve been waiting forever for this book. I fell in love with all the Rock Chamber Boys in Sebastian and Candace's book, Play Me, and definitely wanted more of these guys. This time we get the story of Brad and Emily, who were best friends in high school, crossed that line one night, and then were gone from each others' lives. Now Emily is going on tour with the guys to write exclusive articles on the band for her newspaper, and she and Brad are thrown back together. But they each had their heart broken by the other eight years ago, so the sparks that fly between them aren’t necessarily the good kind.

The advance copy of this book I read was just as great as I anticipated, and I’m already eager for the next book in the series! I used to not even like the idea of a rock romance, but Daisy Allen quickly shifted the tide for me. And this isn’t your typical rock romance, steering clearly away from the whole “drugs, sex and rock n roll" cliché. The band is stringed instrumental, there are definitely no drugs or partying with groupies, and the only sex is between the two main characters who are in love. In fact, it quickly becomes apparent that Emily and Brad have been in love with each other since first meeting, although they never expressed their feelings. It doesn’t take them long to begin figuring things out, but extenuating circumstances make it a bumpy ride on their path to forever.

Once again, Ms. Allen's writing is full of beautiful prose and deep emotion that make the reader's heart sing. With a strong storyline, smooth pacing and complex, loveable characters, and touches of humor the reading is effortless. Although the two main characters are in their mid-twenties, their emotional maturity is a breath of fresh air. Yeah, the guys in the band still horse around and rib each other, but the conflicts in the relationship between Brad and Emily are derived from external sources, rather than either of them, and are dealt with in a realistic, adult manner. This is a book that I couldn’t put down and hated to see end, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Strum Me is a sweet and sexy rockstar romance.

Brad and Butter (Emily) were best friends in high school. She had a boyfriend, though, who ended up being a complete jerk, so when they broke up, Brad saw his chance to finally act on the feelings he had for his best friend. They had a beautiful night, but misunderstandings, miscommunications, and outside forces happened and they were separated with broken hearts on each side. Fast forward 8 years, Brad's band is huge, and Emily is the only journalist in the building to ask a negative question to the band, who's assembled for a press junket.

I really liked Daisy Allen's take on the rockstar genre. This isn't the usual sex, drugs and rock n roll romance. Sure, there's sex, but it's only between Brad and Emily, thank God. And it's not the raunchy (dirty, sure, but not gross) kind so prevalent in rockstar romances. I loved seeing Brad and Emily get their second chance at love. And the secondary cast? Superb as well. Brad's band is funny, and fun, and they welcome Emily into the family. Of course, there's the obligatory "villain" and he's definitely a villain, but even he's treated in a different, not so heavy-handed, way than the usual.

If you like your rockstar romance heavy on the sweet, with lots of love and spice mixed in, 1-click Strum Me today. You won't regret it!

I received an ARC for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this story! It was a fantastic read with awesome characters. I loved the first book in the series, (this can be read as a standalone, though you will get more enjoyment out of it if you've read the first as you know the characters better). This is a best friends to lovers/second chance story. Brad and Emily met in high school at a music school. They were best friends and Emily ended up with a different boyfriend until the very end of high school. They broke up and it finally gave Brad a chance. They have one night together and then events conspire against them, with miscommunication, and both their hearts are broken and neither realizes what truly happened. Fast forward 8 years later and they are put together in a situation that requires some interaction. Their feelings can't be denied but they have to overcome the misunderstandings from 8 years ago that influences how they see current events. This story does have a bit of a slower pace than the first one but it's really well done. I was engaged from beginning to end and didn't want to put the book down once I started. I loved getting to see all the characters again and catching up with them while also getting to know them better. This was a fantastic read and I can't wait for the next book.

The Rock Chamber Boys are back with this fantastic addition to the series. Their star violinist, Brad, gets a blast from the past when a former crush comes to tour with the band.

Emily and Brad were best friends all through high school until the lines blurred and they ended up spending a night together that changed everything. Circumstances beyond both of their control separated them and left them both brokenhearted. Eight years later they are forced to work together and the spark between them reignites. With wary hearts and so much mistrust between them will Brad finally get his muse back? Will Emily realize who's behind every note Brad strums? You'll definitely want to read Strum Me to find out!

Though the pace of the story was a bit slower than the first book you're quickly pulled back into the world of the Rock Chamber Boys as they follow their dreams. Brad and Emily's story takes some twists and turns but in the end you can't help but root for them. Strum Me reminded me again why I love this amazing and hilarious group of characters and look forward to the rest of the band meeting their matches!

And here we go again. Book 2 from the Rock Chamber Boys series and I was in cloud nine.
Daisy Allen has created this amazing series that everyone should read.
It's refreshing and intense.
Strum Me is the next book from this series and explores the lives of Brad and Emily.
Brad is the other band member. He's wild, funny and a ladies man. In the past his her was broken and that's the reason he can't and doesn't want to commit until a blast from the past reappears.
Emily is a well-known reporter. She's a music writer and a very good one.
When she interviews the Rock Chamber Boys she wasn't expecting what happened next...
Just like I thought this would be... It was freaking amazing.
The book was super well written and left me wanting to keep reading and reading non-stop.
Chapter after chapter glued me in a way that I wanted to keep reading and reading.
And Ben just stole my heart.
We have some steamy stuff into the mix as well... Oh boy...
It was an amazing reading and I'm anxiously looking to start the next book.
Daisy Allen... Oh boy... I'm in love with your writing. This book is freaking awesome as well.
Now... I'm on my way to start the next one.

After years of a special friendship in music school Emily and Brad finally found their way to each other for that one special night. Both believed that that one night was the beginning of their future together but Emily’s deceitful ex, assumptions and some deleted text messages were going to change their lives for years to come.

Emily became a journalist and knew that Brad and his bandmates were going to make it to the big times. After a few years they met again at a press conference with that same connection they had felt all those years ago. Neither of them ever getting over the heartbreak they each felt when unbeknownst to them misconceptions, lies and deceptions played a part to what happened to the future they both had hoped for.

There are supporting characters that I loved but when that lying cheating ex- boyfriend of Emily’s from all those years ago shows up you know nothing good will come from it. They have secrets that Brad will discover that can change all of their lives forever.

I received this book as an ARC for a freely given and honest review.

I had book 1 in this series on my TBR shelf forever before I gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised, this offering is no exception. Daisy Allen created a very unique take on the "rock star" genre with 4 extremely talented musicians that take Chamber Music and either mash it up with modern hits or create their own take on the classics and still manage to create that rocker vibe with their swagger, egos and good looks. This is Brad & (Emily) Butter's story ( yeah it's a play on bread and butter) as these two were bff's through school from the age of 13, although Butter had a boyfriend, Brad was everything to her. Eventually bff's cross the line and in this case, with disastrous results. Ms Allen does a terrific job at giving us a look into the past without it being confusing or intrusive to the now, which brings me to what I love most about this series so far is the Author's ability let her characters tell their story. The dialog moves the story along and even the often times juvenile banter between the band members makes for a very enjoyable read.

This is my first book by Daisy Allen, i received as advanced reviewers copy and voluntarily reviewing it. This book is a second chance rock star romance and second in the Rock Chamber Boys series about Brad and Emily. Emily was Brad's best friend and the only woman he ever loved from his high school, he was able to express his feelings for her, when her jerk of a boyfriend breaks up with her. They have wonderful time together and a amazing night but the obvious misunderstandings and misinterpretations spoils their love life and they move apart. Now, After 8 years, the Rock Chamber Boys team is on the top and being interviewed where Emily as a journalist ends up. Both Brad and Emily gets to work together when she has travel with the band and prepare an article on them. The history tries to repeat again with external forces but true love can't fail again. This book has hot as spicy sex scenes and it is an wonderful book that i could recommend for 18+.

3.5 Stars This book was a sweet, steamy romance about Brad, a violin playing (rockstar ?) and Emily the teenage crush he left behind. The band "The Rock Chamber Boys" do not do play guitars or drums or even sing. There are no vocals and the music is created with instruments such as the violin and the cello and the songs they play are the band's own version of different types of music. Rock band would not be the description I would used.

Brad and Emily's relationship ended as teens due to a misunderstand that continued in the story when they met again years later. Secrets and the truth are slowly revealed toward the end. I liked Dairy Allen's writing style.

This was book two in the Rock Chamber Boys Series. This book is a standalone and features Emily and Brad who were best friends in high school until they crossed the line and she then broke his heart. She is the only girl he has thought about for the past eight years. They have a second chance when she comes back into his life. She is going to travel with the band as she writes stories about them for her newspaper. Their chemistry was still there and off the charts but they deal with misunderstandings from before and other dramas. A great read with wonderful characters and an engaging storyline. No spoiler here, but this is a great book that is well written and fun to read. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

This is a well written story with likeable characters. It is the second in the series but is a standalone. Nice storyline and plot.
The story has humor, drama, angst, misunderstandings and chemistry in it.
They two characters have known each other for most of their lives. They have loved each other the whole time but misunderstandings and twists has drawn them apart. Life has not been that good to them and they have to struggle a lot.
I am thrown away be they fantastic way to bring the homour in the story. It was great and gave me a good laugh.
A fantastic story that is worth the time reading it.

Strum Me focuses on Brad (of Rock Chamber Boys) and Emily his childhood BFF and first love. It’s a great friends to lovers and second chance romance. It’s dramatic and sweet! We get to see and learn a bit more of each of the band members too! Hopefully even Dennis gets a novella or something. Just like Play Me, this book is written so musically that it evokes all the emotions that only music can. Good standalone! Great series so far!
I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

Years ago they were best friends, one night changed it all. Will Brad be able to prove that Emily is different from the others? Will Emily be able to accept his love and stop running?

Loved the characters in this book. While Emily did get on my nerves at times with her autorun response, I understood that she was a scared mother and was rehashing feelings that she thought had been buried. Loved Brad's personality and the fact that he was willing to fight for them even if she still walked away. Great read!

This is a fantastic story. The way these two have been in love most of their lives is inspiring, but the heartache they've been through is so horrid I want to just wrap them both up in giant hugs and hold them. Little Ben is hilarious and keeps me on my toes, I've laughed so hard through this book my family was giving me horrid looks but laughed along with me once I explained it to them. I cannot wait o see what's next for this band of misfits. I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

This is the 1st read and review for Daisy Allen and I absolutely loved it. This is book 2 to the series and now I need to read book 1. Daisy says it all in her blurb so there’s no need for me to give any spoilers. Rock band books are my absolute favourite and this one is right up there with the best of them, I love the cover and it fits in with the story. Great characters and storyline and I can’t recommend this book enough, this book deserves more than 5 ⭐️

4.5 stars. New to me author Daisy Allen has put her on my radar with this story. The characters were well developed and the plot moved along nicely. Conflict was not dragged out forever, just enough to have some tension. I also liked that some of the big secrets weren't what you expected. Lets not forget that there was some great humour, esp with the bantering of the band mates. Overall, a very enjoyable story. *I received an ARC of this story and this is my voluntary and honest review.

A second chance romance and the Chamber Boys are back. Brad is their violinist and a fabulous one at that when he gets another chance meeting with Emily who was once his former crush from high school. They both left broken-hearted back then, can they both put that aside and find a future? Every artist has a muse and Emily is Brad's, will he be able to hold on to her? I did however find that his story was a bit slower than the first book Play Me but it is still a good book to read.

While I absolutely love this series, this book drove me nuts...the flipping back and forth between present and past gave me a headache. Plus, this book seemed to run long—I was afraid I wouldn’t make it to the end. The storyline was great; characters were good but Emily needed a backbone. Plot twists were good, and the HEA was awesome! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and loved the story but not the ping pong set up of the chapters.)

This is my first time reading Daisy Allen's work, I think. I wasn't disappointed. I loved the concept of a "rock band" that has no lyrics and plays string instruments. The plot was great. I was hooked from the very beginning. The story-line flowed smoothly throughout. The characters were well-developed and easily relatable. I can't wait to read the rest of this series!

I really enjoyed this book and Brad the sexy gorgeous rock star. He’d fallen in love and through misunderstandings and subterfuge lost Butter the love of his life. When they find each other again it was beautiful to see them heal and fall in love again. This is a good story well written and I can’t wait to read about the next two band mates. I recommend this book highly.
