Grand Blue Dreaming keeps giving me the laugh out loud moments I want but this volume also gives some really tender moments a chance to breath + excellent showcase of the art.
This time the three main leads, Iori, Kohei, and Cakey (not a real name) go to take their test. Sadly Iori tries too hard before the test and doesn't even get a chance to take it. But the rest of the crew go out into the sea and explore, we also have a lolztastic last chapter when one of Iori's friends is finally about to get laid and the boys just will not let that happen.
There's some great shots of the sea here, especially the underwater shots. Really showcases the author's ability to draw great environments. Also, I love a moment between Iori and Chisa that actually felt touching and cute. There's plenty of LOLZ once more and if you like crude, fucked up, and silly humor this is a must read.

Na tym tomie kończę swoją przygodę z Grand Blue. Nic mi nie dało czytanie tego. Jedyne, co czułam, to to, że głupieję, za każdym razem jak otwieram tę mangę XD Jest naprawdę pokręcona i nie polecam.

Okinawa przywitała członków klubu piękną pogodą i krystalicznie czystą wodą. Nie można więc sobie wyobrazić lepszego miejsca do zdobycia profesjonalnej licencji płetwonurka. Zanim to jednak nastąpi, „świeżaki” wraz z kolegami i koleżankami oddadzą się błogiej zabawie, która dość szybko przerodzi się w czyste szaleństwo z masą nieporozumień i nieplanowanych wydarzeń. Odpoczynek i procenty są ważne, Iori nie może jednak zapomnieć o odpowiednim treningu. Pomocną „stopę” wyciągną do niego koleżanki, które na pewno odpowiednio go przeszkolą. Pozostaje jednak pytanie, czy to wystarczy do zdania egzaminu?
Piąta odsłona serii w żadnej kwestii nie sili się na innowacyjność czy odmienne podejście do pokazywanej historii. Autor sięga tutaj po sprawdzone schematy i serwuje czytelnikowi dokładnie ten sam zwariowany pakiet elementów co we wcześniejszych tomikach. Alkohol leje się więc tutaj strumieniami, goli umięśnieni faceci prezentują swoje wdzięki, piękne niewiasty również nie są nazbyt skromne, a serwowane żarty mogą wywołać u zwolenników poprawności politycznej wylew lub zawał. Schematyczność i powtarzalność całej historii jest więc w każdym rozdziale mocno zauważalna. Nie zmienia to jednak faktu, że manga nadal zapewnia gigantyczną dawkę doskonałej zabawy i powielanie tych samych schematów kompletnie jej nie szkodzi. Kolejne strony tytułu pochłania się z niekłamaną przyjemnością i szerokim uśmiechem rozbawienia na twarzy.
Nic nie zmienia się również, jeśli chodzi o oprawę graficzną mangi. Rysunki nadal potrafią być mocno urokliwe i przyciągać uwagę czytelnika, szczególnie jeśli pokazują one piękno podwodnego życia. Projekty postaci i umiejętne przerysowywanie emocji to kolejna mocna strona tytułu, która jeszcze bardziej podsyca komediową otoczkę i staje się już znakiem rozpoznawczym serii.

Ended with the Iconic mix voice chapter that gets tossed around all over the internet and thus this is where the anime left off, solid volume, the Okinawa stuff had some highs and lows but fun moments, also some touching moments too with all the photos at the end of that trip. Had fun with the series and probably gonna watch the anime to see it all animated but looking forward to see what’s next, also stop this incest stuff, don't care if Iori was adopted and they're not blood related.

This volume shows a very strong willed Iori, some good character moments that are just party humor, one of the best side chapters I have ever read in a manga, and all the laugh out loud moments that we expect. This series is a MUST READ!

Another funny volume. The misunderstandings remind me a lot of Modern Family. “I’ll take a poisonous fish that’ll knock an adult out with one bite, please” was a great ending to that gag.

L'humour fait toujours mouche : réaction absurde, dessin aux petits oignons. Cette fois-ci, Iori doit trouver une solution pour ne pas rater sa licence de plongée et cela va être le prétexte à nombre de situations loufoques. Entre jeux d'alcools et plongée, moments embarrassant et calme des profondeurs, l'équilibre est toujours là. J'ai beaucoup aimé le moment où Aina devient ivre.. Et met à mal notre équipe de joyeux lurons.
Humour beauf, gens à poil et un peu de plongée/pleine lune pour mettre de la poésie, je ne me lasse pas de ce plaisir coupable qu'est Grand Blue.
