A good girl. A bad boy. Business and pleasure collide.

I can't stand Clinton Alvarez.

My life was meticulously organized, painstakingly structured and impeccably sanitary... until he rolled into town with his bad manners, his short temper and his cocky smirk. Now, he's opened up his grungy barber shop right next door to my pristine cupcake shop, bringing along his clientele of shady, leather-loving motorcycle guys with broken noses.

He's infuriating. Having him around brings out the worst in me. All of a sudden, I'm acting on impulse. First, I'm flinging a handful of over-ripe raspberries at his back. Then, I'm screwing him on the countertop between the cash register and the cakepop display.

Waking up with a blanked-out memory on his threadbare sheets is unquestionably the low-point of my life. Except now, the only thing I hate more than Clinton himself is the fact that I'm starting to fall head over heels for him.

He has a secret that will rock the foundation of all the things I believe in. But it's foolish to jump to conclusions because, in some stories, it's not easy figuring out exactly who the bad guy is.

What a fantastic book! After seeing Vivian in the first two books that focused on the romances of her younger siblings and their soul mates, I wasn't sure I'd like her well enough to enjoy her story. But I underestimated this author, because while Vivian is exactly the same person, we get to see so many more layers to her personality here and she's actually my favorite character in this series!

Well, second-favorite - I think Clinton, Vivian's knight in tarnished chrome, is about as hot, dirty-talking, and swoon-worthy as a book boyfriend can get. Deep down inside, he's absolutely nothing like his outside persona, yet once we understand all of his secrets, he's exactly the way he should be after all he's gone through.

Did I mention the secret? Wow-wow-wow! I did NOT see that coming! As I'm reading it, I'm wondering just how bad could it be, and then BAM! It explains so much! It's a genius-level plot twist and it was brilliantly done here.

So much heart, so much love, so much angst and passion and hilarity (the raspberries! the closet! the dentist!) and family support and even a little revenge karma too! It's not just my favorite of this series, it's my favorite book by this author. It's everything a romance should be. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This one is my fav from Blue Collar Bachelors series and it's enemies to lovers romance, one of my fav kind of stories.
It started with a lot of laughters and sparks of chemistry and since then I fell in love.
Two people with different personality and came from different world attracted to each other and each one such a stubborn person, their banter is out the roof, definitely my fav part in this book.
Drama, twist, surprises, superb banter, amazing chemistry, plenty hotness and laughters, yes I loveeeee everything about this book.

As for characters, I have mix feelings with Vivian at first, because I kinda don't like her in the previous books, but in this book, I really get to know her better and she become one of my fav charaters in this series.
And CLinton, he oozes bad boy's vibes, love how he gets under Vivian's skin, he's trying to get under her nose everytime, he loves ticks Vivian off.
I love Clinton and Vivian, love how they're trying so hard to deny their attractiveness towards each other, I love the love/hate relationship between these two.

If you're looking fun angsty enemies to lovers read, you must rad this one.

This book had me intrigued from the beginning!

I was desperate to know the Clintons secret and why he was so attached to looking after his kids. Not to mention his sheer arrogance and the way he reacted every time the very uptight very set in her ways Vivian!

Scariest thing for me though was how relatable Vivian was to me! Turning 30 isn't the easiest thing in the world to do, especially not when your life "to-do list" isn't checked off like it should be. I found myself feeling incredibly saddened by what she faced and I completely got her reactions to the sexy new barber in town!

Loved this book and all I could think was I wanted to give Vivian a big hug!

5 Bad Boy stars!

This book! Omg I freaking love it! Everything! From the first page and reading about pubic hair going gray and literally laughing out loud to the very sweet sweet end. Clinton may have been a bad boy, but he had a heart of gold and I loved him. I just finished and I already want to reread it. I saw an ad for this book on Facebook and immediately one clicked. It's the first from this author I've read but I can tell you I'll definitely be reading this whole series! I really loved the writing style and the characters. Now I just have to decide if I want to go back to the beginning and read the rest in order... Lol

uhm ya, I don’t think so… hated the characters, no plot, no proper romance!! when and how did they fall in love? and of course the author had to introduce a life changing event right after they confessed their love for each other.

That was a heartwarming story of Vivian * Clinton, enemies to lovers trope.I like how the author throws titbits about other couples and snippets that connects the other books, it had other characters which I found in other books, 'nice to know facts' here and there was nice.
She's now 30, having midlife crisis, she had planned it all in her head that she would be married and have kids, have a nice family by her age, but her plan seems far fetched now, now that she's nearing 30 but still is single none of those items are checked off her list, she has rebuild her bakery business from ashes (book 1 had mentioned how it was burnt down to ashes), although she's thriving on her business side and have a loving family, siblings who cares for her, she feels insecure about herself, also the fact the one guy for whom she stood loyal betrayed her, and she has standards and is ambitious but to some those seem as uptight (I just hate people who say things like that to people who actually have achieved something and one should standards, not over the top but should have, having them should not make them labelled as uptight, just because you are not all chipper doesn't mean you have the audacity to make such claims when you don't even about that person)
Now enters our MC Clinton, who's in the town, escaping the hell he was in to lead a fresh start, he has a shop besides Vivian's,.they started off on the wrong foot, always fighting and giving death glares but also sexual tension simmered in those glares, and one day their flames engulfed them, and did the deed hungrily roughly, not so like Vivian, she's is prim and proper, elegant lady, but he brings out the wildness in her, it is with him she looses herself, with no pretense, and he's made promise with himself bring that out in her, when they called truce on their petty fights, they wanted to give it the chance and sooner they were falling hard for each other, but he had secrets which was hard for him, and she was feeling he was keeping things under rugs and might not love her as much as she did, it was hurting both of them. The cause of all the problems was that f**ker pastor who was all goody goody on the outside, but in reality he was a predator, he had pregnated many helpless women who came to his shelter for help, but were prey to this man(I have heard such incidents on news, it's so sad and unfortunate for the women who had go through such aweful experiences, sometimes it's the pretend good guy who's actually the villain wearing the mask of a saviour of town), Clinton was the result of one such incident, so was Lisa another victim with 3 kids, whom Clinton was trying to protect from the cruel world, he just wanted those kids to be safe when Lisa was succumbing to drug addiction, that misunderstanding was the reason Vivian felt Clinton might be cheating on her, but now when she knew the truth, about Clinton's secret and that predator man whom she thought as a good man, when in reality he was the real culprit, the bad guy, and to top it all his wife too had a passive hand in it, she knew all along, but did nothing to make things right.
Now when everything's all right, she confides in him about her being pregnant with his child, and he could not be happier, to have found a place where he belongs, to Vivian and his little one, the story ends with Vivian being stubborn to get married before she pops out the child, they are at the court at her 9th month to get wed, although Clinton tried but he allowed his adamant bride to get her way, but the kid had to pop at the very time, so she gives birth in her white dress, her man by her side carrying the newborn, and that ends their HEA story, both found their home, a family to cherish.

It gets pretty lonely on the inside of these walls I've built around myself. Sometimes, I wish I could let someone in. But I don't know how. I've spent so much time trying to act like I've got it all together that now, I don't know how to be vulnerable and admit that I have no idea what the hell I'm doing.

“We’ve all got stuff that we’re afraid of, Sunflower. We just need to face the light every now and then. So we don’t get swallowed up by the darkness.”

"I'm falling for you..." She almost sounds afraid when she whispers it. I'm crazy, too. I trap her earlobe between my teeth. I hear myself saying words I never thought I'd say. "I beat you to it, Sunflower. I'm already there." now she knows for sure that I'm hers. And she’s mine.

I’m in love with you. Hard. And I’m going to have you. So you’d better figure out how you’re gonna fit a grimy bastard like me into your pristine little life.”

This world isn't perfect and things don't always go to plan. It's okay to step out of your safety net, honey. Because if you're not mindful, your comfort zone easily becomes your prison."

In a world where I was lost and confused, she’s now my anchor and there’s no way in hell I’d let her go.

“I love you, Vivian. I wanna be the guy by your side. Your man, the father of your children, your best friend. For the rest of our lives. As your bush gets whiter and whiter.”

“When I met her, Vivian Hartley gave me nothing. Every smile was earned. Every kiss, I fought for. And she was worth the fight, because now she's given me the greatest gift. A family of my own. A place to call home. And that's something I'll wake up and fight for every morning for the rest of my life.” She’s crying, a soft smile on her lips. “I’ll be fighting for us right alongside you, Clint. Every step of the way.”

An Awesome Read!

I loved reading Bad Boy: A Bad Boy Biker Enemies-to-Lovers Romance(Blue Collar Bachelors Book 3). All about Vivian Hartley a twenty-nine year old owner of a cupcake shop & Clinton Alvarez owner of Barbershop with lots of tattoos. Vivian and her sister Reese are partners and have just recently renovated this store in the shopping center. Next door is an empty store that is soon to open with the Rusty Razor Barbershop. The girls are excited because that means more traffic into the shopping center, but unfortunately they are not happy with the new owner! Seems he not only rides a motorcycle, which he parks right in front of his storefront window on the sidewalk! But he caters to sketchy leather loving motorcycle guys with broken noses, and he plays his music so loud the frames the girls hung in there shop keep jumping and crashing to the floor! This man is a menace and must be stopped at all costs per Vivian. The author wrote a story about a guy who has not had a good life and he’s come to this town to start over, and because he is full of tattoos hiding secrets, rides a motorcycle he’s being harassed by the black haired tiny women who runs the cupcake shop next door! Read about Vivian & Clinton and the fiery exchange they have almost daily once his shop opens! This is the third book in this Blue Collar Bachelor series and it’s completely hysterical!! It has passion, mystery, angsts of all kinds and incredible loving in every kind of situation going!! It’s the good girl meets the bad boy and who will win, read the book and find out you just might be surprised, as I was!! I just can’t wait to read book 4!!!

I adored the relationship between Clinton and Vivian. They had me laughing and shaking my head a lot - in the best possible way. Their tale shows how you #1 shouldn't judge, #2 shouldn't assume, #3 situations and people are not always what they seem and #4 don't rule anything out despite the plan in your head (or on paper).
I loved getting to learn all aspects of Vivian. We had an impression of her in the first 2 books so it was nice to see her fully develop and evolve. She was much more complex and funny than I would have imagined. Clinton literally rolls into town on his motorcycle and flips her perfectly ordered world upside down - not to say that she didn't do the same to him. We get to see them both confused, flustered, angry, horny, conflicted, shocked, devastated and ultimately happy. (Not necessarily in that order)
When the secrets come out, they are nowhere near what would be expected. They were unique and filled with intrigue that'll have your jaw dropping in a book where you least expect it. I certainly didn't see that twist coming, but it tied everything together so perfectly and proved to Clinton's heart that he landed in the right place.
This was a well written, thought out tale that I feel privileged to read. I didn't want to put it down and would hope that you take a chance on it as well as the series.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book for a voluntary and completely honest review.

How? How can this be the 3rd book in the series? I mean, Cassie-Ann just started this series and it's freaking AWESOME!!

Vivian is the older sister to Reese (Lover Boy) and Charlie (Play Boy). Vivian has her whole life planned out and she is so uptight and everything has to be so meticulous. She wants to be perfect just like she thinks her mother is and doesn't want to disappoint anyone. Clinton, barbershop owner and new business neighbor to the Broken Cupcake. He is tattooed and rides a huge motorcycle and blasts the music so loud that the picture frames rattle on the walls of the bakery. In other words, he is trying his best to get under Vivian's skin because she is under his.

The ups and downs that these two go thru will have you turning the virtual pages of your Kindle so fast just to see what is going to happen next. This book was outstanding!! And the sexy times, yes please!!

Now, usually by the end of the book you can almost guess who the next book in the series is going to be about but nope, nada, I don't have an inkling but if I had to guess, Sadie!

This is the 3rd book in the series and you don't have to read the other 2 but you would be seriously missing out.

Viv and Clints story

Vivian is a proud co owner owner of the Broken Cupcake. The original one burnt down so they had to find another building and start from scratch. Well on opening day she is not having a very good opening day it all starts off with a little soomething she finds at home and then when she goes to the bakery all is goo g well until it isn't. She lays eyes on a very attractive Clinton. Clinton locks eyes with Vivian and it's sparks but both of them won't admit to it. Clinton does every thing he can to make her mad. He knows how to get under woman like Vivian' s skin. And it's working. Clinton did not have a very well up bringing where Vivian had a very loving family she is the oldest of the one day when Clinton goes over to confront Vivian it changes the game and opens up each others feeling for oone another. Both of them have trust issues but Clinton is holding a major secret. Will Clinton be able to tell her abpu t it or will the secret ruin what love they have formed together. This book was amazing. It has some very funny parts to this book (I will never look at grey hairs the same. Lol) Cassie-ann i really enjoyed reading this book. I can't wait for the next book.

 From Enemies To Lovers

Oh boy he just had to come into town and set up his barber shop right next to my bakery shop. He is so infuriating and he seems to love making me furious.  And the types that come to get their hair cut at his shop do not mix well with my clientèle!  Poor Vivian - she tries to always do her very best but this 'awful' Clinton set up shop right next to my Broken Cupcake.  He does everything he can to wind Vivian up and get her attention as he can't stop thinking about her. With his tattoos and loud noisy music blaring plus the motorbikes that are all noisy too and dirty.  Clinton and Vivian are so well matched by Cassie-Ann Miller, in this enemies to lovers novel.  be prepared to laugh out loud, to giggle, to smile and have fun 'listening' to their verbal encounters and don't forget their red hot and steamy love scenes!!  get your fans set to MAX cool as you're going to need it when reading your copy of this book.  Cassie-Ann has woven a wonderful cast to this story that I really enjoyed this latest story and it is part three of the Blue Collar Bachelor Series. This can be read as a standalone or as part of the series. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of the story here.

The third book in the Blue Collar Bachelor series, and maybe my favourite so far? I've been intrigued by Vivian's character since book one because she was so uptight and such a perfectionist and I knew her book would involve a lot of great character development. I loved flawed characters, and I felt like I really related to Vivian in some ways. Clinton was the perfect match for her, because he was her total opposite, and I loved seeing how he poked holes in her type A personality.

The hate to lovers relationship was SO satisfying to read, and I was kind of sad at how quickly they became something more, but then Clinton and Vivian in love was also amazing, so I can't complain too much. As with all books in this series, their chemistry was electric and the sex scenes were super intense and very hot, especially that epic hate-fuck!

Although I loved the mystery element surrounding Clinton in this book, I thought the reappearance of his brother near the end felt kind of weird and out of place, but it was so ridiculous that it was kind of funny, so I didn't really mind it at all.

The next book in this series is a second chance romance, which is one of my least favourite tropes, but I do love the idea of a hot firefighter hero, so I'm hoping it will be another winner!

I read this book as part of an arc program. I really liked this story about a love/ hate relationship between Clinton and Vivian. Vivian and her sister were reopening their bakery after it burned down. When they opened, a barbershop opened next door that was run by Clinton, a tattooed bad boy that drove a motorcycle and attracted a rough crowd. Clinton and Vivian got into an argument the first day the bakery was opened and they both seemed to dislike the other, but thought they were attractive. After a few weeks of arguing and fighting, Clinton decided to try to make peace and went to see Vivian. They got into another fight which caused Clinton to snap and kiss Vivian, leading to more. They began a relationship but Clinton was hiding things and Vivian had to decide if she trusted him enough to carry on the relationship. This was a really good story that had a lot of heat between Clinton and Vivian. They both fought their feelings, but really didn't want to. I enjoyed this book about a hate turned love story. Another good one from Cassie.

Vivian likes order in her life...everything must be perfect, and so far everything is just that...except for the tiny detail of a man in her life. Vivian really expected to be married with a family by now, but as she approaches her 30th birthday, and spies a grey hair, she begins to panic. The last thing that she needs is the crude tatted up barber next door to her cafe’.
Clinton has had a rough life, growing up in an MC but now he’s out and has opened his own barbershop. He really shouldn’t be attracted to the prim and proper cafe’ owner but he is...and he enjoys riling her up. When an angry encounter leads to even angrier sex, the pair suddenly can’t get enough of each other. As the relationship grows into something more, Vivian wants to know about Clint’s past...something that he doesn’t want to discuss. Will the relationship survive Clint’s secret? Another great story in the town of Copper Heights.

This was a pretty solid (and HOT) read. At first I wasn't a Clinton fan. He definitely wasn't the nicest person and seemed to lack any human decency and kindness. But once he got over himself and we grew to know him, I have to say I respected him a lot more. He had it rough growing up, but he's definitely done a lot to not become a terrible product of his circumstance.

Vivian was pretty funny with her prim and proper ways. She liked things done a certain way and absolutely hated it when something disrupted those plans. So of course, the tattooed biker who operated the barber shop next door knew just how to get under her skin. When they get over the hate and move into lust, well, things get pretty hot and only escalate from there. Even though they may not have been a perfect match on paper or to anyone passing by, they really did compliment each other well.

I enjoyed this book far more than the first two (they were just meh), so hopefully the next one doesn't let me down.

I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review. I absolutely loved reading this book. It is not a billionaire book or a virgin book or a nanny book or an older man younger woman book. It is a story of two small business owners who start out as enemies and turn into lovers. Actually much more than lovers... but you'll have to read the book to find out what I mean. It was full of emotion and honesty between the main characters of Vivian and Clinton. So much relationship material was covered like hurt, loneliness, trust issues, emotional barriers, misunderstandings, forgiveness and there was happiness, contentment and lots of passion. I totally recommend this book. It was well written and the characters were well defined and had personality.

I can never wait to get my hands on new releases by this author. She consistently makes me warmhearted and laugh. Her stories are so sexily romantic and at the same time make me joyful. This story more than does that. I thought when she found someone for Charlie that his story would be hard to top but I think this story does it. I couldn’t imagine who she would match Vivian with and boy did I get a surprise. I’m still not sure that this pair won’t keep each other on their toes but Clinton was totally not what I expected. This is totally opposites. I also loved how Ernie, Vivian’s ex was handled. I think the author did a great job of providing the character development. This really could almost be a standalone. I think the story flowed at the right pace and kept me from setting it aside. I loved appreciated the twists and the epilogue left me totally happy with this story.

“Bad Boy” is an excellent addition to the “Blue Collar Bachelors” series. I love a good blue collar bad boy and Clinton Alvarez is the best. Clinton has finally broken away from the MC and has opened a barber shop. Vivian the meticulous uptight list maker is part owner of the Broken Cupcake next door. Clinton's clientele are not what Vivian wants around her shop and the loud music and rude comments by Clinton are getting on her nerves. Although irritated with each other Clinton and Vivian cannot ignore the sizzling chemistry every time they meet. Soon they are in a passionate relationship but secrets, misunderstandings, and trust issues tear them apart. “Bad Boy” is an outstanding story and a beautiful romance with an unexpected twist. Great book! Great characters! A MUST READ

Good girl cupcake shop owner Vivian Hartley is pushing 30 and wishes she had a man in her life ... her nemesis, the gorgeous and sexy Clinton, doesn't count. Bad boy barbershop owner Clinton Alvarez moves to a new town for a fresh start and meets the beautiful but snooty Vivian, who he can't stop thinking about. Vivian wonders what's the matter with her, getting all hot and bothered over the broody brute Clinton, who's not her type. Clinton knows that Vivian is way out of his league and she may not realize it yet, but he have every intention of making her his. Will Vivian be able to resist Clinton?

She is His Anchor.

I only wish I could give this well deserved read 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This funny, Romantic, erotic read was definitely for me the best in the Blue Collar Series. I laughed, I cried, and I fell in love with Clinton the big tattooed bad boy, with the biggest and softest heart ❣ he was perfect for Vivian who hates him with a passion on first sight. I love a love-hate relationship. Clinton certainly sorted out her prissy, organised life! He sees her! Cassie-Ann never disappoints with her superb style of insightful prose. I would highly recommend this romantic, hilarious read. This is my honest review of an ARC I received.

DNF at 39% but skimmed through the rest. I kept waiting and waiting for this to keep me interested since it got such great reviews! The writing was excellent, nothing wrong with it at all. I found Viv over the top, which I know she's supposed to be, but I couldn't connect. I really wish I could have liked this book.
My 2 star rating does not reflect anything about the author or the read for others. It's only reflecting my personal view of the characters and how I could keep interested with the characters as well as the story. I think the author does a great job in description and flow. It just wasn't for me.

This was the reason I started this series and I have to say it was sadly my least favorite so far. Vivian was just so mean. I did not like her in any of the past books and she was “better” in this, but I could not get past how mean and judge mental she was. I was having trouble getting past her utter bitchiness, and then was rolling my eyes when they have unprotected sex... KNOWING where it was going to head. With her actions and general jealously of her siblings happiness and her want of having a child I would have felt like she intentionally trapped him had he not loved her the way he did. Just NO. I was having trouble connecting to begin with, but after that bomb I was just done.

This book started off so strong for me, and I like the plot twist at the end even though I figured it out kinda early on… I feel like the second half of the book just sort of flew by too quickly as if the author was trying to rush to meet a deadline. How the hell do you just leave the shit with the antagonist open-ended like that? I mean... what? He should have been arrested!

I really liked Clint but feel like there could have been more physical description about him and his tattoos and his back story - speaking of back story, why was that scene with his brother even in this book?!!

I didn’t love Vivian... I found her to be just ok... kinda annoying with her jealousy.

My favorite.

I read Reese's and Leo, it was good and I finished it but didn't feel like writing a review. Read Nova's and Charlie and I kind of hated Nova but , I had to pull through and finished it and no review either (I really didn't like writing reviews) but, this one? This one is my favorite amongst the 3. I even liked a quote from Vivian's mom, " If you're not mindful, your comfort zone easily becomes your prison." I loved that quote. This book is really good and I highly recommend it. Thank you Cassie-Ann L. Miller for sharing your talent with us. Now to read the other books in the series.

Loved Clinton!! Who doesn't love a hot, dirty mouthed, motorcycle driving, tattooed, barber? I mean really? Perfect book boyfriend. I loved this continuation of the series. So far each of the Hartleys have gotten their stories, and they've all been amazing. This one features Vivian, the oldest sister. She is getting ready to turn thirty, and is feeling the time crunch on her life plans. When the angry barber next door kicks over her sidewalk sign, it puts them both on a path they don't expect. Read this series!!

This book was absolutely hilarious! From the very first line, I was already laughing out loud!

Vivian might be a tiny bit short-fused and a whole lot OCD. She likes her life neat and orderly, unlike Clinton, who lives with a devil-may-care attitude. When they clash, there are definitely fireworks! But aside from the funny, laugh-out-loud moments, I loved the way Clinton and Vivian find out how much they really like each other despite their best efforts not to. Great story with humor, insightful tidbits, and a healthy dose of steam!

Vivian and Clinton are polar opposites from the outside, but when the come face to face sparks fly and the air sizzles and it truly is their differences that make them so good together. Which just goes to show that maybe true happiness has many different faces and that differences can be good. Each of Ms. Miller's characters are so unique and dynamic that you won't be able to stop yourself from falling in love with these two amazing people. I truly did not want to put this book down, it is definitely a page turner. I am honored to leave a review for the advanced reader copy of this book.

SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW YOUR HEART AND BELIEF

THIS IS A BOOK FOR WHICH I VOLUNTEERED TO LEAVE AN HONEST REVIEW

Clinton Alvarez is an ex-MC member. He got out because he never wished to be a member. Vivian Hartley is a strait-laced woman who can’t let love back into her heart because she was hurt once and can’t open her heart to anyone else. An unexposed secret almost tears them apart. Mix bad boy and prude and you get an explosion of emotions that keep you reading the book. I’ve read it twice and am thinking about reading it again.

Clinton is the total opposite to Vivian's well controlled straight and narrow life but maybe its time to shake things up especially as she is almost 30 nothing has panned out as expected and she has found a grey hair down there! There is plenty of lol moments as well as steamy scenes, emotional moments and lets not forget some very surprising twists!! I just love these characters and it is so good to see the other from books one and two make appearances so you feel closer to the characters your reading.
