Honestly, this volume seemed boring compared to the last. Character development was little and mostly limited to the dark faction through info pages. The flashbacks seemed like filler, not adding much. The sense of consequence was much less, as the motivations of the android seemed intentionally obscure. Why even bother fighting without talking? Maybe there was some way of talking the android down, but we never even get that angle.
This had a lovely end to the story arc. It was well paced and quite well written. I continue to enjoy the characters and how they develop, though there are characters I wish we saw more of. It was an enjoyable volume and I do look forward to continuing the series when I am able.
