Let's start this review by discussing the title: Magnetic Reverie. For me, it conjures images of elated happiness and strong, instantaneous attraction. In the first book of a new series by author Nico J. Genes, we find a woman torn between the love she has for her husband and the attraction she has to a woman she met in an airport and continued to dream about. Only... as time and the chapters pass by... we no longer know for sure which of these two relationships is the dream and which is reality.

Genes creates a torrid conflict in the first few chapters. Lana is leaving her country (Slovenia) to get married. Was it arranged or did she fall in love? She's at the airport when a beautiful woman flirts with her for hours. It ends, and then readers are transported to Washington DC were Lana and Greg are happy but something is missing. Alternating chapters for a while, we learn that Lana has some amnesia and cannot remember her relationship with Claire. The story continues like this for a while, absorbing readers and sharing a tale of two different loves. It seems at first that this is a case of amnesia or dream states, but savvy readers will pick up on a few clues that tell you otherwise... and I'm not giving away any spoilers here, as the truth is a lot more complicated.

I enjoyed this story a lot. At first, I thought... it's a bit like fantasy where I am lost in terms of what boundaries exist in this non-existent world. Genes clarifies several key ones, enough so I could focus on the dynamic and complex relationships. It suddenly became more about a woman in love with two different people, and how would she choose which one to commit her future to. When Lana finds out she's pregnant, a whole new element of pain, love, confusion, shock, and intrigue develops. Genes keeps you guessing but mostly forces you to debate which love is stronger. For me, despite my concern over what was happening with the memory loss, I wanted Lana to be with Claire. There was an edge and strength in their relationship, where with Greg, it was solid, dependable, and comforting -- that's a great thing, but it was missing a tiny bit of spark which made me root more for Claire.

When the book ends, I found myself wondering -- what's next? There are answers but there are also questions. A choice is made, but a situation is still open. Will we ever learn what happens with the dreams versus reality? A curious book series, and one I look forward to continuing to read...

Choices, realities, awakenings, acceptance and what love is are all part of Nico J. Genes’ MAGNETIC REVERIE. Lana’s life would seem perfect, happily married to the man of her dreams until a new reality is awakened within her, until the dreams of her sleep open a new world of emotions. She will discover a new side of her, a side open to love for and from a woman, will she be completed as a person? Will her dreams become the reality she truly desires? Follow Lana as her dream world and her reality collide and entangle her in a web that will unlock what is hidden within.

Nico J. Genes has created an intriguing tale of a woman who finds her own inner awakening, the realization that she can love a man and a woman in similar, yet unique ways, foregoing the taboos often assigned to non-traditional relationships. Will she choose one love over another? Will her choices be from the heart that has been awakened? Ms. Genes has built her story in two intermingling parts, her reality and one that appears to take place only in Lana’s dreams, yet clearly affects her reality as well, sometimes making this tale difficult to follow unless paying close attention as we are able to feel the confusion that Lana feels.

A remarkably intense and “honest” story that is captivating, yet, perhaps in the translation became a bit repetitive, still, Ms. Genes has done an amazing job in enlightening readers to non-traditional relationships and their “human” beauty.

Tolerance and Understanding

First of all, we learn how not to put labels on people, situations and ideas. Tolerance and understanding are among the underlying principles, embedded throughout the book.
The dream world that is described here raises a lot of uneasy questions about today's society, imposed norms, hypocrisy, and sometimes, even set forms devoid of content. However, such matters need to be dealt with properly and in a civilized manner.
Love is universal. Humans are constantly seeking it, no matter what.
The unusual love triangle, involving the main characters -- Lana, Greg and Claire -- is the basis of developing and revealing their true emotions, aspirations and desires.
Readers may classify this book as romance, fantasy and psychological drama. The narrative style is quite mature and thought-provoking as well.

Magnetic Reverie’ is a story of a woman torn between dreams and reality. But which is the dream, and which is the reality?

Lana is a lovely young woman who has it all. At least one might think. Originally from Slovenia, she meets an American named Greg, whom she falls in love with and marries. They move to America where he supports them with his private business, and she takes up work of her own. However, Lana experiences dreams of herself in another life. One differing from her current life, and far away back in her native Slovenia.

In her dreams she is in a close, intimate relationship with Claire, herself a beautiful young woman madly in love with Lana. Claire is certain Lana has returned to be with her, only Lana knows she is married and believes her life with Claire is little more than a magical dream. As the dreams continue and lengthen, Lana grows worried of her former life with Greg.

Why does she continuously have these dreams of being with someone so far away? Will they ever stop? Will she return to normalcy and continue her life with Greg? Can Lana love another woman? Is it right to do so?

These are questions plaguing Lana as she journeys deeper and deeper into a loving relationship with Claire, who appears to be everything she secretly longed for. As Lana opens up to Claire and her heart, she leaves herself wide open to the challenges of following your heart versus doing what feels right, neither which are always the same.

This is a delightful, intriguing romance with interesting, and intense, characters. With settings in America and Slovenia, readers are swept away in this story as Lana travels on a journey which takes readers through beautiful countryside, historical towns and villages, to modern-day cities. I found this book quite exciting at times as the relationships developed between Lana and Claire. If you enjoy romance with a twist of intrigue, ‘Magnetic Reverie’ is well worth your time.

This delightful romantic novel by the author Nico J. Genes is the 1st part of the Reverie series, and not to forget let me mention that this book has been a really surprising enjoyable read.
Story-telling is of an excellent quality by the author, the storyline is superbly worked out, and all the main characters involved come wonderfully to life within this lovely story.
The story is also flowing in pace with lifelike emotions as well as with true human actions, whether they are hetero or gay/lesbian feelings, and all this is brought to us in an exciting realistic fashion by this very talented author.
The main character is Lana, a young woman from Slovenia, who's now in reality living with her husband, Greg, in the US.
Also an important character in this book will be Claire, or Klara Kovac, because it will be she who will turn Lana's imaginary fantasy dream world upside down.
The reason for that to happen is after the chance encounter between Lana and Claire at a restaurant at Vienna Airport, with Lana heading for the US to be with her husband, Greg, and Claire who's heading for Slovenia after arriving from India where she discovered and accepted her sexuality, when Lana is starting to get supernatural romantic dreams about Claire at night while living with Greg during the daytime, and Claire falling in love with Lana in Slovenia.
What will follow is a love story in which Lana is torn between two lovers and places, her real husband, Greg, in Washington DC and her imaginary dreamlike found love, Claire, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and where Lana in the end has to make a very important choice in her life so far.
Highly recommended, because this first outing is an amazing story and one that deserves to be titled: "A Very Attractive Romantic Debut Novel"!

5 Dreamy Stars!!!

Have you ever had a dream which was so vivid and intense that you felt it simply had to be real?  A dream which made you forget about your current reality in hopes of continuing to explore this exciting land of milk and honey?  Were you really able to fully distinguish the dream from the real world?  If so… which one did you prefer?  Powerful thoughts indeed!  If this sounds intriguing to you, then you will absolutely love author Nico J. Genes's novel, Magnetic Reverie.

The story essentially travels back and forth between the main character Lana’s romance with her husband Greg, and a mysterious woman in Slovenia known as Claire.  While one of the relationships appears to be based in reality, the other one only comes to Lana in her dreams.  Throughout the story, Lana is emotionally torn between her two loves.  A handsome, loving and supportive husband- and the fantasy woman of her dreams.  She continually struggles between being content and following societal expectations with Greg, as opposed to succumbing to the forbidden lust, craving and love affair with Claire.

Make no mistake, Magnetic Reverie is an erotic love story which will engage and captivate you from the very first page.  Genes does a wonderful job in developing characters who are truly in crisis mode.  Lana in particular struggles throughout the story with the conflicting emotions of lust-guilt; sadness-joy; anticipation-expectation.  She hates herself for what she is putting both Greg and Claire through, but is really unable to control it.  The journey she undergoes in discovering herself and confronting her reality is quite powerful and enlightening.

While all novels will tend to have an overriding theme, Magnetic Reverie has a number of secondary motifs as well.  For instance, the suffocating chains which come with behaving within the confines of typical societal norms is one such theme which is explored.  This is clearly shown by the way Lana and Claire continually attempt to conceal their relationship in public and disguise their true feelings.  If they step outside such norms they risk exposing themselves to ridicule and judgement.  This is further revealed when you compare this relationship with the one Lana has with Greg.  That match is perceived as “normal” by society and their public displays of affection are numerous and obvious.  Be that as it may, the most powerful theme which exists in the novel is the pursuit for love at all costs.  By pursuing her fantasy romance with Claire, Lana is virtually risking everything.

One important point which should not be overlooked when reviewing this excellent book, is the author’s unique ability to describe the setting.  This is no easy feat as the story takes place in two worlds, the United States and Europe.  However, Genes does a superb job in presenting both.  For example, the Croatian holiday had exquisite descriptions which flowed with the story.  They were not added just as mere filler.  They were integral to the storyline and weaved into the powerful emotions which the characters were experiencing.  Without a doubt, the author crafted this beautifully.

Magnetic Reverie is indeed a story where nothing is truly as it seems.  Indeed, that is one of the charms of this novel which will leave the reader spellbound and captivated throughout.  Unquestionably, this story receives 5 dreamy stars!

This story takes place in the US and in Slovenia. What I can first say is that I was impressed with the descriptions the author did with her home country. She offers a little history too, I felt like I was visiting a friend there, which was comforting. And the sites were magnificent.

There is a big twist near the beginning of the story that will hook you. After this part, I had to find out more. This story subject matter is of a paranormal nature, so of course, I fell in love with it right away. At the beginning of each chapter, there is an introductory paragraph or quote giving you a clue about the chapter's content. Very well done.

It starts off with the protagonist, Lana, preparing to embark on a new journey into an unfamiliar place. Like anyone else who is in her shoes, she ponders what her life is going to be like. From the start of the book, I found myself imagining the feelings she was experiencing in anticipation of what was to come next. Her confusion starts early in the story, which triggered my curiosity. I had to ask myself, is she losing her mind or is there something much greater?

I felt she had some insecurities and sometimes doubted herself. However, she knew certain things about herself very well and had standards. I applaud the author for making her a bit mysterious. Lana manages to live her life as best as she can. She expresses many emotions and I found her to be a likable character.

She's married to a man, but deep inside craves the intimacy of a woman. She has a secret obsession which she keeps to herself.

Now meet Claire. She’s one of Lana’s lovers who had a rough upbringing. She is a good listener and takes an understanding of the situation Lana is in. She's a strong fighter when it comes to Lana and cherishes the relationship. She is spontaneous and adventuresome and really knows how to make a good time special.

The sensual scenes are perfectly described and hot! There is enough to go around. The flirting between Lana and Claire got my adrenaline moving. The author took great care in creating these scenes. You’ll see what I mean when you read the book.

Get ready for a roller coaster because this story is going to blow you away. The pace is fast and gets you thinking. I had to slow down reading so I didn't miss anything. The story flows very well and the tone is inviting. The author does an excellent job of handling the complexity of Lana. The plot had me guessing the entire ride. All I can is WOW! I am recommending this book to everyone and it is one that will stay with me for a long time.

You are going to want to read her next book in the series, 'Reverie Girl.'

She is beautiful; she is young, and she is torn between two loves—a perfect husband who adores her and cannot live without her and a mysterious young and attractive woman in her dreams. As she travels on a super-fast reality-fantasy track from one continent to another and back, Lana discovers herself as a person, as a desirable woman and a lover, and as a mother.

Will one love die and discard its petals on the shores of unexpectedly discovered female attraction? Will the initial confusion give in to the emotional and physical yearnings and cravings that defy the set norms and rules of our society?

Magnetic Reverie by Nico J. Genes is a passionate and erotic novel, a cocktail of mixed emotions, things supposed to be logical and insatiable desires of the heart. Just as you think you've finished your drink and are ready to leave the bar and go, a hand appears in front of you and serves you another glass. Surprised, you realize the story is yet to unfold.

3.5 stars, this book is a like a what if guide. Imagine you meet a random stranger, you get to talking & find out you're kindred souls. Then you go about with your original plans, move to America & marry your fiance. Although now when you sleep you're in a parallel world with the stranger. Where reality & dream worlds collide& intertwine, what is real & what is fiction? Do you stay with your current partner/ husband or chase your dream girl?

Lana is a happily married Slovenian ex-pat living in the United States with her successful husband, Greg. Their marriage is happy, but she longs for the day when he will want children like she does. She has adjusted to her new life in her new country, but there is another life, in a place that is strangely familiar- and another relationship with a young woman named Claire- that is taking over her dreams, and beginning to break through into her "waking" life. With one foot firmly rooted in her life with Greg, Lana finds herself increasingly longing to rebuild the fractured relationship with Claire that she doesn't remember. Each dream brings new feelings to the surface, but also pulls her further away from Greg. Her life takes a strange turn when the thing she wants most comes true but all she wants is to be back with Claire, with whom she has fallen in love with all over again. Magnetic Reverie is a fluid journey that travels between the parallel worlds of what is and what could be; a magical look at the illusion of memory and the perception of what is real.
Where I think the story lagged a bit was in the constant over-thinking by Lana as what it would mean to be gay and to be out in the open about her relationship with Claire, and the constant comparisons she makes between her life with Claire in her home country (which she seems to realize is a dream) and the still-new life with Greg in the United States. There were perhaps more details in the day-to-day differences than I would have liked, but overall I found it to be a compelling & well-written story.

By David Bennett Laing

Lana, a gorgeous redhead from Ljubljana, Slovenia, flies to Washington, DC, where she marries Greg, a handsome, young, American entrepreneur. Changing flights in Vienna, Lana happens to meet another Slovenian, Claire, an equally gorgeous blonde, who gratuituously tells Lana "You are beautiful." Three years after her storybook marriage to Greg, she finds herself having vivid dreams about Claire, who lives in Ljubljana. Lana is then involved in a traffic accident that puts her in a coma for ten days, during which she experiences a full-blown love affair with Claire in Ljubljana, which seems quite real, creating a serious conflict for her. Does she want to remain loyal to Greg, who loves her deeply, and promises her a prosperous future, or to Claire, her dream lover, who is dedicated to her and whom she loves deeply? This conflict, which could well be ended with Lana's release from the hospital, is actually unresolved in the book, which continues with Lana flying back to Ljubljana in a desperate search for the real Claire.

The author, Nico J. Genes, skillfully navigates the complex emotional tensions involved in this epic tale of the interface between the real world and the world of dreams. It's a roller-coaster adventure that challenges not only Lana's loyalties, but her fundamental feelings and values. Should she follow her safe, well-established, but rather traditional relationship with Greg, or should she follow her heart into a very non-traditional, but passionate relationship in an unknown and unknowable dream world? A thrilling read!

An exquisite love story that touches your mind and heart in so many levels it makes you question if Lana was sure about her sexuality. I like when a story captures your attention, Lana has the best of both worlds with her dreams and reality it can be as living with two people and loving both. I loved reading some images and places in Europe. Lana is the main character she's incisive for achievement of her life; she comes to the conclusion that there is no such thing that life could be perfect. I do believe this was an amazing novel & unique, beautifully written. I really recommend this fantastic book.

If you enjoyed The Time Traveller's Wife then you will enjoy this romantic novel. The characters are likable, Lana has vivid dreams which turn into a different life from a happily married woman living with Greg in Washington DC. Some of the prose tuned to a telling of Slovenian tourism, but was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed that bit! The other theme that ran through the book was the serious love scenes and story-line, this blended in well with the main story of Lana finding herself and finding out what is going on with her! I felt the ending was just right, a good conclusion with a few loose ends ... what happens next?!

I loved this book! From the moment I started reading it I couldn't put it down. If you're like me and love a good love story with lots of emotion and descriptive scenes, then this is the book for you :) Lana finds a love like she's never found before. She's torn between 2 worlds and her emotional roller coaster with Claire had me on the edge of my seat lol I always wanted to know more! I'm excited to read Pt. 2 of this book. I really want to know if Lana's decisions lead her in the right direction.. I guess I'll have to just read and find out!

Magnetic Reverie by Nico J. Genes symbolizes the reveries of all those individuals who hide their true self even from themselves; who yearn to meet their dreams in real life but struggle to break free from unknown shackles. The story of Lana is shrouded in the veils of unspoken realities that she refuses to discuss. They manifest themselves in her dreams.

A character driven story, it drifts between dreams and reality. While it may seem normal, as we all have dreams that usher us into the realms of our unfulfilled desires but Lana’s dreams are magnetic. They draw her into another world, where she discovers herself and finds the freedom to live her dreams as a lesbian whereas she is happily married to Greg in real life. Torn between guilt and amorous life that she shares with Claire, she forgets that reality is more powerful than dreams, as they are bound to break. The conflict is palpable. How long would she linger in them? What could be the repercussions? You keep guessing, waiting eagerly to break out of a long reverie that seems endless.

Is it a fight between her head and heart or is her subconscious mind sending a signal about what she is missing in her life? Will she make the right decision? Will she quit her dream world? Many such questions stand before you that would keep you turning the pages. There are some erotic scenes and some editing issues – repetitive at places and some grammatical errors but on the whole this is an interesting book.

I've read this book in its English and Spanish versions. Here's my recap:
1. It's very interesting the idea of living simultaneously two different lives in two parallel universes.
2. It's refreshing to find the action taking place mainly in Slovenia and Croatia.
3. I didn't like the intimism in this story, with practically only three characters. Sadly, this means the rule "show, don't tell" goes frequently down the toilet.
4. The Spanish translation is terrible. Oh, those verbs and those verb tenses…
5. The book ends on a cliffhanger.

Lana lives a fantasy life in New York with her rich hot husband that is nowhere near as fantastic as the alternate reality she enjoys when she sleeps. In her dreams she is back home in Slovenia and in the arms of her hot lesbian lover.

Which do you choose, reality or the dream? Which is which?

Lana is happily married, or so she thinks. Her husband is a successful businessman working in Washington. An immigrant, Lana is trying to adjust to her new way of life without old family and friends. Why then, in her dreams, is she living another life back in her home town in Europe, in love with a woman?

We follow Lana when she first meets Claire, though Claire claims a relationship for a long time. Lana begins to rebuild this relationship, curious and excited. Less time is spent in her real life and with her husband. There is a slow and steady feel to this story and a lot of detail in location (which the author clearly knows well) and the dialogue.

There are mild sex scenes in both reality and dreams, as Lana negotiates her newfound desires, and several questions left unanswered, presumably for the next book to delve into.

Worth reading if you like twists and turns in dream vs reality sequences.

Author Nico J. Genes weaves an exceptional erotic romance that will easily captivate the reader’s attention from the beginning. The author paints a compelling and intriguing story of love and sexual discovery in a very vivid and convincing way. In addition, the characters are drawn with great credibility and conviction. It’s a relatively fast paced novel that will keep you engaged from the first page to the last. It’s a very absorbing read about ‘one woman's struggle between her dreams and the reality of love after newly discovering her sexuality.’

The book description gives a sneak preview: ‘Lana lives a perfect life in Washington DC with her husband, Greg. Right in the middle of a peaceful and simple life, she awakens from a dream that ironically reveals a new reality to her that questions the very essence of who she is. Enter Claire, a beautiful young woman who Lana is supposedly in a relationship with. Meandering between Slovenia and Washington DC, sleeping and waking hours, this love story makes Lana evolve and grow. But a decision must be made. Love wins in the end, undoubtedly, but love for whom?’

Now, if that’s not enough to get your curiosity juices flowing, I don’t know what will. But if you want to find out what happens, you’ll just have to turn the pages for yourself! However, I will say it was well worth the read. It’s my second time reading this author and I must say I was very impressed yet again.

The story had every element a good story should have. A thought-provoking plot, attention to detail, but best of all fleshed out, well-written and well-rounded character development. There’s an abundance of well-illustrated scenes that make you feel like you are right there in the story, and that’s something I really look for in a good book. The erotica is accomplished in the delivery of exciting and titillating prose. From mild illusions through detailed, sexy scenes, the concept is wonderfully delivered in truly amazing writing.

Captivating and commendable, this work had me immersed from the beginning. It’s an emotional fiction interwoven with sexual discovery. The story flowed from scene to scene with ease, and the author shows exceptional ability when it comes to storytelling. There are plenty of attention-grabbing moments in this page turner that will take the reader on a truly compelling and fascinating journey!

It’s one of those books that come along occasionally that makes you want to read it non-stop until you get to the end. I’m giving nothing further away here. And this, I hope, will only add to the mystery and enjoyment for the reader.

If this book is anything to go by, I’ll certainly be looking forward to reading more from Nico J. Genes in the future. It also has a distinctly cinematic feel to it and I could easily see it being adapted for a made-for-TV movie. This has all the hallmarks of making a great series. A well-deserved five stars from me.

In 1955, a remarkable book appeared, Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. Although English was Nabokov’s second language, Lolita is written in a language so full of passion that it became one of the top novels of the 20th century. As I commenced reading Magnetic Reverie, it was as if I had fallen back into Nabokov’s beautiful, passionate prose. Nico Genes, a native of Slovenia, writes passionately in English with the same skill and erotic insight as did Nabokov 63 years ago.

Magnetic Reverie is a book about deep love and a sensual passion that transcends gender, space, and time. It is about a love that is independent of labels and societal mores, that exists only unto itself. In outline, Magnetic Reverie is a relatively simple story. Lana, a young Slovenian woman, is on her way from Slovenia to the U.S. to marry her American sweetheart, Greg. At a Vienna stopover, she meets Claire, and they spend a couple of hours together in a cafe talking and getting to know each other. Lana finds herself strangely drawn to Claire, but leaves that memory behind as she continues her trip and marries Greg.

At some undetermined point thereafter, Lana finds herself in a powerfully realistic dream where she and Claire are in a deeply passionate relationship in Slovenia. For a time, she drifts in and out of the dream, in effect spending waking days with Greg and her life in America, and her nights in a passion-filled life with Claire in Slovenia. She continues to love and admire Greg, but her passion for Claire is overpowering – even if it is only a dream.

As the story progresses, the reader finds that reality and dream are merging where one seems to morph into the other – maybe. Lana, feeling guilty and confused, eventually resolves to “leave” Claire who has become the love of her life, for Greg whom she also loves and who is her anchor to reality – maybe. Following an accident, Lana awakens from a coma to her life with Greg, but cannot banish her love for Claire even though her previously vivid dreams now escape her. As the book ends, Lana is on her way to Slovenia in an attempt to find the “real” Claire.

I had always suspected that women were inherently bisexual. What Magnetic Reverie did for me was to reinforce this belief in a very positive way. Although, by the end of the story, Lana had not yet revealed Claire’s “existence” to Greg, had I been Greg in the same loving relationship with Lana, if she had told me, I could not have begrudged her relationship with Claire. It would have seemed to me as much a part of Lana as my love for her. If you are not open to bisexuality in women when you start this novel, by the time you finish, you will have changed your mind.

Compelling Page Turner from Nico J. Genes

Captivating gripping love story that I read in one sitting. A woman married for three years living in Washington DC finds herself in a strange apartment with an unknown woman in Slovenia, not knowing how she got there.
The deeply touching and powerful story describes the two realities, showing Lana loving both the husband Greg, and falling in love with Claire. The characters were realistic and so well written.
I loved the holiday in Croatia. The descriptions were beautiful and atmospheric. It was a perfect romantic holiday. I felt it was magnetic and had me completely spellbound as to what was going to happen next. Wonderful exciting debut novel from Nico J. Genes and I am looking forward to the next book. I Highly recommend this marvellous book.

You will feel every emotion of the character of Lana throughout the story, and you will not stop reading till you reach the end. A love triangle unlike any other.

Magnetic Reverie absolutely stole my breath away. This was the first book I have ever read with a same sex romance and it did not disappoint. I was awestruck by Genes writing and her ability to make me feel everything that Lana felt. My heart is still in sync with hers. I also loved that it took me some time to determine what was Lana’s true reality. Claire is so vividly real and captivating right from the beginning, and I immensely enjoyed seeing her through Lana’s eyes. I think this novel deals with very raw, real, and wonderful content, and I cannot wait to continue Lana’s journey.

Magnificent job well done by Nico Genes!

This was a wonderful read.

The story followed Lana as she narrated her way through her dreams that almost felt so real it sets her on a mission to discover the truth as to whether they are, and if the girl in them, Claire is just as real. It was a different spin on dreams and reality that really got me thinking and I can’t wait to read the sequel.

Romance with a difference as Lana comes to terms with all that is happening to her in her married life, and in dreams where she has these wonderful experiences with Claire. Finding herself and discovering feelings she didn’t know she could have.

I found this to be exciting, well written and intriguing.

A beautifully written book that explores extremely difficult questions such as: “If we were to be honest with ourselves, what is it that we really want?” and “Are we courageous enough to pursue what we want wholeheartedly?”
I think this is a very important book especially in this time. It encourages us to be true to ourselves even if we haven’t completely figured out who that really is. With a compelling love story, it also rekindles our faith in love and champions the idea that ultimately, love is love. A truly enjoyable read. I definitely recommend it!

Nico Genes’ Magnetic Reverie is a tale of unexpected love. When a young woman stops in at a restaurant before she flies out to move in with her fiancé, she has a chance encounter with her soul mate. Not your typical romance, Magnetic Reverie is an endearing story of self discovery that is beautiful and full of heart!

This book reminded me in some ways of the film "Inception". For much of the book it was not clear what was a dream and what was waking time for Lana, who falls in love with a woman (for the first time), while also married to a man. Here is the link to the review I wrote: tinyurl.com/ybxb4osl
