Okay, maybe I'm just over the whole production of making sure everything is matchy matchy and that everyone oohs and ahs over my placeholders. And I even think I'm over the whole matching drinks thing - Sandra Lee sure adds some weird alcoholic beverages together! It is a beautiful book to look at but completely unrealistic for the average person with average time and a pocketbook that does not have 1000 dollars just waiting to be spent on matching rooster plates, along with oversized roosters (like ten of them) to have your annual hoe-down BBQ. I'm being snarky, I realize that. What was the funniest part to me is the last two pages - there are pictures of the entire crew working to put the pictures together - someone to put the tablecloth on, another to do the makeup, another to arrange the centerpieces, etc., etc. There's about twenty people that I could count - so, it takes twenty people dor sandra Lee to just get the end result? But I can pull these all off alone without losing my mind and my bank account? Um, right.
