Shekhar Gupta's prose reads much like his recent 'cut the clutter series': factual, technically ok, with some unintended cringe from the 80s and 90s. :))
The sources and descriptions were interesting. The personal anecdotes were a too generous with the Sapir-Worph Hypothesis. The warnings and the predictions for the future turned out to be entirely true, and in that context, it was totally worth reading.
