But the life of a Blind Jacks MC member comes with its own dark history, and his past is about to collide with their future.
Tiffany thought she'd found sanctuary in the arms of her protective biker, a chance to finally stop running. But trading one dangerous world for another might have been a deadly mistake. USA Today bestselling romance author J.C. Valentine lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their amazing children and fun-loving dogs. When she's not writing stories of love, laughter, and steamy scenes, you can find her editing for fellow authors or spending time with her family. J.C. has been penning stories since childhood, though thankfully her writing has improved since then. She loves bringing heart, humor, and happiness to readers through her vivid imagination and love of words.
In Fighting Dirty, there is a WHOLE LOT going on. I'm talking all kinds of sexy goodness as well as some things that will have your eyes bugging out of your head because you cannot believe the crazy. There are several story lines going on at the same time but they flow in and out so effortlessly that the story never feels choppy. I will admit I'm a fan of DARKNESS, yes the President of the Blind Jacks MC has woven his way into my heart, after everything that he goes through in this story he still finds a way to leave someone standing that I thought should definitely pay for they had done to him.
Fighting Dirty by J.C. Valentine is book Two in the "Blind Jacks" series, This continues the story of Tiffany and Ryder. Since this book does continue their story, I do feel you need to read the previous book 'Marked for Death' first. Tiffany is learning to deal with Ryder in the MC club but she also has her ex husband Stuart taunting her. Ryder is working to keep Tiffany safe along with working to keep the MC club going. We get to see more of the sexy bad guys and how they are softening some with the help of some of their women. This was a very exciting read that I really enjoyed!!
This is the continuation of Tiffany and Ryder's story and Tiffany is learning the ways of the MC life. She sees the men, the old ladies, and the women hanging around. She wonders if she is cut out for this life but then she thinks about Ryder and the love she feels for him and knows this is where she belongs. Ryder has known nothing but the MC life, growing up in the life it is all he knows. He doesn't think that it is all new to Tiffany and he needs to explain things to her. Well as much as he can anyway. When Tiffany's stalker ex-husband finds her, she only wants to protect those that have become close to her. She runs again but she doesn't realize that the MC has her back because she is part of them now. Ryder is beside himself when she disappears. He just wants her back in his arms where she belongs. And wait until she finds her ex, you will not believe it. You will be saying WTH is happening. But you will be turning the pages just to see how it ends. I love this series and hope there will be more from other club members. I would recommend reading book 1, Marked for Death because it is the beginning of Tiffany and Ryder's story and the start of the Blind Jacks MC. So sit back and enjoy! **Copy provided by the author and this is my honest review**
Fighting Dirty started with Tiffany now living with Ryder. This book was a little different because where Marked for Death had allusions to Tiffany's past with a physically abusive ex-husband, it mainly revolved around Ryder and his battle with Ace. Towards the end, there was a little more detail about Tiffany and some of the abuse she went through. Otherwise, it just didn't have enough to get you prepared her story. The problem with Fighting Dirty is that it started out with whole other storyline than Ryder's or Tiffany's. It's about the club's president and a rivalry with a different club. Around three quarters to the end of the book the storyline with Tiffany and her ex-husband shows up as if the author realizes she hasn't actually written the plot of the story described in her blurb. Once the conflict with the ex-husband begins, the whole thing becomes surreal. I felt like I was thrown into something that became totally unbelievable. Would I suggest this book to another reader? Yes, because I'm aware that my opinion is just that. An opinion and other people's opinion may vary from mine. Will I read JC Valentine again? Most definitely.
I love getting lost in the world this author has created. Every couple is unique and every character ties to one another. It's a strong, close knit family that is easy to fall in love with page after page. Ryder sure does know how to get down and dirty with his pretty little nurse, Tiffany. These two steam up the pages and captive the story. Tiffany kind of is strong sometimes and seriously broken at others but she never fails to amaze you. I think that's why Ryder will go to the end of the earth for her. This is extremely hard to put down and will have you begging for more.
Ryder and his nurse Tiffany are living together both still getting use to the other. Tiffany is getting use to Club life which includes all the women he’s slept with and business within the club. Ryder is getting finally falling in love for the first time and all that details. In the midst of all that there is a plot against the club and Tiffany still has her crazy husband to deal with. Tiffany and Ryder realizes that with Love and trust there is nothing they can’t get through.
I really enjoyed this book and the one before it, Marked for Death. I loved the relationship between Ryder and Tiffany! I especially enjoyed seeing how much Tiffany had grown from the person she was when she was younger. I won't go into that because I don't want to give anything away.
But most of all, I was absolutely shocked by the way this book ended! I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. Totally not what I was expecting, but I think I liked it.
I do hope the author continues with more books about the Blind Jacks MC. There were several other characters I'd love to read about!
In Fighting Dirty readers will be reunited with Ryder and Tiffany, and find themselves quickly being pulled right back into their dangerous, and oh so sexy, little world, as well as getting a glimpse into the lives of the other members of the Blind Jacks MC. Just like the first installment there is lots of action, suspense, naughty bits, and some good heartfelt emotion, littered between the pages of this one, and boy was it a lot of fun to devour every last word. These two had me on the edge of my seat, flying through the pages, and sometimes saying WOW! out loud, it was definitely an interesting and thrilling literary ride. Tiffany is still being terrorized by her evil ex-husband, and trying to adjust to a whole new life, that is nothing like the world she comes from, and Ryder is busy sorting out troubles within the club, all while trying to keep his woman safe. Thoroughly enjoyed this one and I am left anxious to see what Ms. Valentine has in store for all of these wonderful characters next! Highly recommend this series, it's sure to take you on a thrilling literary ride!!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and voluntarily read and reviewed.
The chemistry between Ryder and Tiffany is not even on the charts that is how much HOTTER they got in this installment of the Blind Jacks. With club things going on and stuff Tiffany is hiding from her past you never know if they can keep it up or will it get to complicated for them each to handle.
Being the Sargent of Arm's of the Blind Jack, Ryder has to keep on your toes .. people coming and going in and put of there lives .. when an old flame of a club member comes back everyone had to watch there back or they could get a bullet in it !! With all of this going down Tiffany doesn't want to drag them into her ex husband stalking abilities, it just seems easier leaving or is it ??
Can these two be away from each other or will Ryder just give her the go not to get involved when the club is on the road to being legal ?? The crazy stuff these two see and go through .. I am not sure it is good to stay together ....
LOVE seeing all the brothers new and old and few new additions are a welcoming surprise !!
And the craziness continues for Ryder and Tiffany... Fighting Dirty gives us more of where Ryder and Tiffany are at after Marked for Death. Their romance is still hot and heavy despite all the drama that surrounds her stalker EX and the Blind Jacks MC. I can't help but love this sweet nurse and her big bad biker. I loved that in Fighting Dirty there are more backstories that keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved reading about Darkness, the club President, Ace with the face everyone hates and even the potential romance that I didn't see coming. The Banter between the characters gave me quite a few laughs and the compassion that these rugged bikers show made me smile, but don't get me wrong they are definitely plenty of bada@@ moments in the Blind Jacks MC, they are not bikers to be crossed. Can't wait to read more from this series.
Fabulous continuation of Tiffany and Ryder’s journey. Tiffany is learning to live within the MC world with Ryder. New threats surface to the club through the president, Darkness, which keeps Ryder busy. At the same time, Tiffany’s ex-husband, Stuart, has found her and is taunting her which gives Ryder another thing to worry about. It’s a challenge for Tiffany to be kept in the dark about club business but she trusts Ryder. When Stuart amps up his threats, Tiffany has to dig deep and decide who she is and really wants to be. All the while, we get to meet and learn more about other members of the club. The introduction of a baby for Darkness is an interesting game changer and provides a way to see the softer side of these rough riders. This eclectic family has captivated me making me curious about each member’s story. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
The craziness continues for Ryder and Tiffany with their Romance still going strong.
In this one we see Tiffany slowly adjusting to life in the MC, I liked reading about her struggles because they are real and I could imagine myself going through the same feelings and emotions.
We learn more about the other members of the MC and there are big surprises along the way and a new romance I never saw coming.
Looking forward to finding out what’s next for the guys bring on book three.
I had so much fun reading this thrilling, and sexy addition to the Blind Jacks MC series. I loved finding out more about Tiffany and her heartbreaking history before she met Ryder. It was great seeing how their relationship and love progressed from book #1. We also find out more about other members of the Blind Jacks through some suspenseful and dangerous events with a rival gang. Even tho this was a quick story it really packs alot of emotion, thrills and fun banter that is totally satisfying. I really enjoyed this second book and can't wait for more from the Blind Jacks!
This one picked up right where Marked for Death left off. I honestly don't think I've ever read so much cRaZy and enjoyed it! This one made me really want to hurt a few people and had me yelling at my kindle. I was seriously wondering if there could ever be a HEA. There is so much left wide open and I can't wait to see what the Blind Jacks have in store for us.
What a great ending for Ryder and Tiffany's love story!!!!I loved getting to know more about the Blind Jacks MC guys in this one and can't wait for more from the MC hot and sexy guys!!I voluntarily reviewed a ARC copy of this book!!!
Great book!!! I absolutely love the suspense this story had with characters that pulled me into their lives and I didn’t want to leave. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and turning page by page.
I really enjoyed seeing more of Ryder and Tiffany. I also loved getting insight to the other members of the MC. I hope we will get to see more of them.
We first met Ryder and Tiffany in Marked for Death. Tiffany has a crazy ex-husband stalking her and Ryder will do just about anything to protect her. Love everything about this series, the MC world, brotherhood, protecting badass bikers and the women who love them. Can't wait to read the next one in the series.
After their combustible meeting and escape from danger in the previous installment in the Blind Jacks series, readers become even more invested in this dynamic duo as they grow closer together. When her past puts their future in doubt, and with enemy’s plotting and secrets changing the Club’s future, readers will be on the edge of their seats from the first page to the last.
Ryder never thought he’d find a woman worth settling down for, let alone a smart and strong-willed nurse. The moment they met she put herself in danger to keep him safe and in turn he vows to keep her safe from the sadistic ex who refuses to let her go. Now that they’re safely back within the security of the Club, Tiffany’s getting a glimpse of what being an Old Lady is like while Ryder and his Brothers deal with a threat to their President. Just when their HEA seems within reach, her doubts and fears have him making a bold stand to prove he’s the only man for her. Ryder’s a delicious hero, a bit rough around the edges but protective and devoted to Tiffany. He longs to see the Club go legitimate but isn’t adverse to spilling a bit of blood to make it happen while keeping those he cares for safe. He’s a talented dirty talker and together they burn up the sheets while he shows surprising charm through his subtly romantic words and deeds that endeared him to me.
Tiffany suffered a lot of physical and emotional abuse at the hands of her ex, but she’s tired of running. She’s tired of missing out on life and ready to be a part of Ryder’s life. At least she was...but the more she sees how some of the Club women are treated and how carefree the Brothers are about spilling blood, she starts to have doubts. Jealousy over his past women further fuels her self-doubts and leads her to finally standing on her own two feet in a bold decision that changes her views on violence and of herself. Standing up for herself puts her directly in harm’s way, but she’s not alone as her newfound family supports her every step of the way. Tiffany’s a likable heroine with a strong will that had me cheering her on in her confrontation with her ex. I was frustrated by her judgments though when talking with the Club’s women, especially after getting to know them and learning of their adversities. She’s a good match for Ryder despite their differences and through witty banter, erotically-charged encounters, and endless sexual tension they’re a couple whose HEA was well-worth the roller coaster ride to get there.
This was a scorching tale balanced beautifully with gripping suspense and unexpected twists and turns. The battle with a rival Club, the nefarious plan directed towards their President, all kept me on the edge of my seat while bringing the Brothers together as a solid wall of support for each other. The nefarious plan to harm Darkness was a heartless one but it brought out an endearing and loving side to the man that was compelling. Darkness has always appeared cold and calculating but the unexpected change to his life has me looking forward to what comes next for him. Seeing Ace again warmed my heart as he slowly works his way back into the Brotherhood. For far too long he’s been punished for his brother’s crime and I loved seeing him finally happy and look forward to his burgeoning romance with a woman vastly different from himself. He too is a sexy and charming bad boy and I am still drooling over him. There was surprising heart throughout this story too as these gruff men showed their loving and protective sides time and again. The only thing to mar my enjoyment was the outcome of Tiffany’s confrontation with her ex. It was built up so much, it depicted him as truly sadistic and dangerous, but when she and the Club met him face to face it was a huge let down. Her view of him changed, while the author tried to change our view too, but I was just left disappointed with the over the top culmination. Despite that this was still an immensely enjoyable romance with a decadently delightful couple who kept me cheering them on from the first page to the last. On a whole, I enjoyed the interactions with the Brothers, as well as the women of the Blind Jacks MC, and look forward to where the life-changing events that befell them here take us next.
Tiff followed Ryder back home. They're still madly in love but Tiff is struggling to find her place in club life. She didn't really know what to expect. She's trying her hardest but with the club under attack Ryder who is Sergeant at Arms is being put into danger. To all the others at the club this is normal but not to Tiff. She's really trying to fit in but tales of the past and stories of Ryder's conquests have her thinking twice about her decision to marry Ryder.
Ryder wants to try and settle his woman into his club. The sooner the better for him. It's his first time in love and he's doing his best to ease her in. When someone attacks his club president Ryder has to put all his effort into protecting him and his way of life. He needs a plan to take the danger away so he kind of leaves Tiff in the care of his mom. sister and some of the club whores. He doesn't realize that Tiff is overwhelmed and may go on the run again.
Tiff's dark past might just be catching up to her. Will she be able to finally stop running? or is running her only chance of survival?
Well this time we get a lot of club action which i loved. I'm definitely getting to know some of the members and gotta say i'm liking them!
I love how Tiff and Ryder's relationship is really passionate. They might bump heads from time to time but there is always this raw connection between them. He really respects her for everything she is even though he doesn't know her very well he goes by her heart and i love that. Tiff although quite strong and feisty has quite a vulnerable side that Ryder covers with his protective nature. They really do complement each other and you can feel their want for each other. It feels like they could make it through anything.
I really enjoyed the storyline. It kept me hooked. I honestly didn't see where it was going and there were up's and downs which kept the story exciting.
There was quite a lot going on but i enjoyed that. I really wanna see Darkness get his little slice of happy. Also Ace with his "Doctor" i think that ones gonna be a lot of fun after their introduction to each other!
The only thing i will say is that i felt the ending was a little rushed. After all the build up of Tiff's story i would have liked that stretched out a bit with her ex.
Other than that i thoroughly enjoyed the beginning couple of the Blind Jacks bring on the rest!
This second book in the series starts with the last chapter of the first one, which is a nice touch for keeping up with what previously happened.
Tiffany thinks that she is doing pretty well getting used to life with the MC. Ryder is over the moon about this turning point in his life, but Stuart, her ex is still out there.
Things are ticking along nicely until a rival MC encroaches on Blind Jacks territory with threats of violence and blackmail. Darkness, the club's president gets the biggest surprise of his life which brings danger to the brothers. They have to come up with a strategy fairly quickly to avoid the worse case scenario. At the same time, signs of Tiffany's ex being on the hunt start to materialise. Those two crisis have a major impact on Tiffany who is learning more about Ryder's life, before they met. Confusion sets in and although she knows that both situations are urgent and prioritising is the key, she makes a rash decision, thinking it's best for everyone. Can those issues be resolved to salvage the club as well as Ryder's and Tyffany's relationship?
There is a lot more going on in this installment. Darkness finds something that he never dreamt of. There are a few surprises in store. Some nice ones and some disturbing ones. The revelations about Stuart are rather unexpected. A most interesting twist! There are mix emotions about certain aspects, but the brothers' loyalty and dedication are unquestionable as is Ryder's and Tiffany's love. It's a well crafted and sensual romantic suspense with lots of action, love and passion.
I was kindly issued with an ARC and the views expressed are my personal opinion.
Fighting Dirty is the second book in the thrilling Blind Jacks MC series by bestselling author J.C. Valentine. Ryder and Tiffany's story started in the first book of the series, Marked for Death, and because this is the continuation of that, I would highly recommend reading the previous book prior to starting this one. It was a fantastic beginning to the story and series, and it's definitely worth reading.
I absolutely loved this book as it was more than just about Ryder and Tiffany. The story included other members of the club, as well as problems that they were going through, and Ryder and Tiffany were involved with most of it. MC romances are one of my favorite tropes, and I love it when it involves the entire club and the main characters. This story was about how Tiffany was coping with her new life in the club as Ryder's old lady, how their relationship was progressing, as well as what happened when her ex-husband shows back up. There are a lot of twists and turns, most of them you won't see coming, and you will definitely be shocked at how the story ends, because it's unlike any other that I have read!
Because this story is a continuation of the previous book, I am not revealing any details about this one. I don't want to give away spoilers to those who have not yet read the previous book. However, for those who have already read the first book, you will definitely want to continue with this book, as it was a fantastic ending to their story. I'm really looking forward to the next book in this incredible series!
I strongly recommend this book, series, and exceptional author!
I have voluntarily reviewed this arc provided by the author.
Fighting Dirty is the second book of Ryder & Tiffany's story, so I must state for the record that you really need to read Marked For Death (Book 1) first since it's the continuation. That being said, I'll move on to my review. Tiffany & Ryder are living together in love, but that doesn't change the fact that she's still hiding from her violent past that hasn't caught up with her yet. However, while she's deeply in love with her protective biker, club life isn't as easy as she thought it would be, and maybe his history is a bit more than she signed up for. And that's all that I'm going to give up, because this story has suspense with a big dose of excitement on the side all over it, so no spoiler douchery is coming from me. What I will say is that Ryder is just as yummy as ever, and he, and the strong, and big hearted Tiffany, are TNT, guaranteed to light the sheets up when they explode in sexy times, so no pair of panties are safe in their presence. And the cast of colorful secondaries that make up the Blind Jacks MC are all present & accounted for to add to the story with their foul mouths that had me rolling, plus Tiffany's mom makes an appearance, to add to the humor in a room full of bikers. And of course, the brilliant JC Valentine has woven together another story filled with twists & turns that have my f-bombs dropping like a wild MC party, with the ending being the biggest shock of all. I CANNOT WAIT for the next book in this awesome series & HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
Let me get this out of the way - unfortunately I did not love Fighting Dirty as much as I did Marked for Death. With that being said, there was still plenty of sexy heat, action, and hot bikers to make this a great read. Tiffany’s a fantastic, strong female character that is just stubborn enough to resist some of the alpha/biker rules, but is also sweet, sensitive, and loves her some Ryder! Once again, Ryder is definitely a hot-headed, protective, rough and tough biker, but he also continues to show his softer side and how much he really loves Tiffany. One of the main points of the plot involved Tiffany’s abusive ex-husband Stuart, and just let me say that there is some serious creepy things associated with this man!! I’m not going to give any spoilers but Stuart’s part in this novel really amps up the suspense.
I loved the non-stop MC action in Fighting Dirty and again, love these big alpha males that actually have hearts of gold. What I didn’t enjoy this time was the constant mention and presence of the “whores” that come around the clubhouse, thus becoming a symbol of pain and confusion for Tiffany, as well as, other more “seasoned” characters such as Ryder’s mother. Although I understand their inclusion to paint a picture of the lifestyle and to also create conflict within the story, I felt like it was a bit overdone.
Nevertheless, I was consumed by this novel from beginning to end and cannot wait to read more about the Blind Jacks MC!
Fighting Dirty is the second book in the Blind Jacks series. I’m so happy we get to fall even more in love with Tiffany and Ryder. This book picks off with Tiffany getting introduced into Ryder life in the MC. We get a first hand look as their relationship continues to blossom and build. Tiffany gets to bond with Ryder family and MC family. I loved Ryder’s sister Rose and hope in the futher we get a Book. Tiffany is strong, kind and trying to build a life. She hasn’t had a home in a long time. Running from a monster of an ex husband who isn’t ever gonna let her go and live a peaceful and happy life. Ryder is the Sargent at Arms of the Blind Jacks keeping the club safe is what he is destined to do. Tiffany belongs to him and he will do all he knows to do protect her. But can Ryder succeed when you have a monster driven by evil to get Tiffany. I love this book! J.C. does not disappoint. Fighting Dirty will consume you in one read and having you longing for more. Full of drama, action, with sex scences that have you petting and hot. We also get to meet Ryder’s father, mother, sister and his brothers. Do not ever think to compare J.C. books to other MC books she always have more to add to the storyline that has you waiting to read and more of her books. Will Fighting Dirty allow Tiffany and Ryder their happy end? Or will it cause the end of their love!
Tiffany and Ryder 2.0 - hahaha I'm actually thrilled that the 2nd book is a continuation of the characters from the first book. While Marked for Death was primarily about Ryder, we get to know Tiffany a LOT better in Fighting Dirty. I wouldn't think that one couple would warrant two books but Ms. Valentine did them both justice in each. In doing so, she drew me more into the club and the welfare of the characters. There is a lot going on to test no only Tiffany and Ryder's relationship but also if Tiffany is actually cut out to be a biker's Old Lady. This is not your traditional biker story. There are so many twists and turns along the way that actually lead us to a culmination of an actual HEA. We meet a lot of bikers in this book and actually get a feel for the club and what they stand for and believe in. We also get to the root cause of the stalker tenancies of Tiffany's ex and why he needs her back so desperately. Trust me when I tell you that this part will not turn out in any way that you might expect it to. I would recommend this series. If you're looking for something a little different and refreshing, pick this up. I received an advanced reader copy of this book for a voluntary and completely honest review.
Ryder Staunton and Tiffany Stone’s story continues here. They both love pushing each other’s buttons. Tiffany’s not above pushing other people’s buttons either. Be prepared to laugh with this one too. It was a great way to pass a very dreary, cold, and rainy day.
I was kinda on the fence about whether I would have loved this story as much had I not read Marked For Death. Ace makes an appearance in the first book as well but in this book I think he also likes to push someone’s buttons. This book has more characters that we find out about as we continue reading, which just adds more dimension to this story. The steam and heat continues to build from what was started in the first story.
It’s more like Marked For Death is a prequel and this is the meat of the story. There’s more character development here. One thing that I liked was that neither of the main characters changed from when we first met them. With this part in their story, the author creates a character that you will love to hate. The ending was great. Be sure to read the very last sentence it says it all. The only thing I can’t tell is where we go from here.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
In this book we get to follow Ryder and Tiffany. Well, we certainly start this story off with a bang, or a pop, or whatever you want to call it. We find Ryder and Ace arguing in a fashion at the clubhouse. Learning more about Tiffany's life with her ex-husband Stuart and then finding out more about him was rather interesting. Sometimes things are not as they seem, that is all I can say on that matter. I loved watching as Tiffany grew into her own more and more in this book. I loved that we got to follow Ryder and Tiffany after his leaving the hospital in the first book. Getting to know more about Ryder's parents and Tiffany's parents and even Stuart's parents was rather interesting. Some things truly started making a whole lot more sense. When things take a turn for the interesting regarding the MC President, Darkness, that was just fascinating. I hope that we get a bit more of a look at Darkness in a future book. You really need to read book 1 before you read this book, for certain things to make a whole lot of sense! Trust me, it is worth every minute of the read for both books.
RECEIVED THIS BOOK AS A GIFT FOR A FAIR/HONEST REVIEW and REVIEWER FOR Bloggin' With M. Brennan.
This is the second part of Ryder and Tiffany's story and for me it was a fantastic ending. As with book one Ryder was ever the dominant biker, he was possessive of his woman and loyal to his brothers and their safety. Tiffany was just as sassy as she was, and seemed to talk to club life relatively well...until she didn't 😂😂 no but seriously she respected the club brothers and understood what Ryder could and couldn't share with her. This couple were so cute together and really balance one another out. Loved Ace in this book, he deals with the crap life has thrown at him and the disapproving looks from the rest of the club. There are so many characters in this book that I loved, and I hope the author plans stories for some of them, Ace and Darkness especially, the more broody the better for me 😜
Okay so this book had me running the gauntlet of emotions. I was happy and laughed plenty throughout the book, but also felt sad and and tearful in other parts, but for me that really shows how good this book and this author's writing is. She balance all the heartache out with laughter and love. Oh and Rose, loved her fiery outbursts and gingerbread men mouth stuffing vengeance plans 😂😂
Definitely recommend this book, but read book 1 first!
Book two in the series and we find Ryder and Tiffany still trying to find their flow, getting to know each other, they may be living together but that doesn’t mean that it is all plain sailing…after all she is still trying to get her head around everything that Ryder being in a MC brings to the table and that also means all the women who have gone before her. That isn’t exactly an easy thing to deal with, but she has to believe that this time, this is the real thing because Ryder isn’t a man to say things he doesn’t mean and this time he knows that what he has with Tiffany is something he has never had or allowed himself to have previously …this is the woman he loves. Of course, it wouldn’t be a JC Valentine novel if there wasn’t angst littered throughout the story and this is no different, Tiffany’s ex is still on the scene and he is making his own special brand of craziness known! And the club is facing its own pressures, there are plots against them that mean that they are all on edge. I cannot wait to see what the author has in store for this pair and the rest of the club next!
