An extremely readable literary endeavour by a master who could dissect the authors and their work layer by layer and present the innermost secrets with no blood or chill, but in an enchanting poetic language. It is lucky for Malayalam to have nurtured such a wonderful son. I liked the work on Jane Austen the most, for she created a magic with limited resources, not to be emulated by anyone past, present or future.
