This probably would have been 4-Stars if it hadn't been for the sex scene with the hero and THREE other women right at the beginning. And the fact that the heroine looked exactly like his dead ex, the ONLY woman he ever loved, and who he is still completely hung up on. Not to mention the OW drama in the form of the hero taking a bunch of them into his private rooms (no intercourse) when he and the heroine were broken up for a few weeks...sigh. It seems my book BLAH mood carries on.
BUT...I don't want to be all negative. The writing was very good and the sex scenes hot. It was well paced as well. I didn't particularly care for Carrick, but I liked Peyton. Any other time this would have probably been a hit with me, but as I mentioned above, I seem to be in a slump that is making me extremely picky and critical. C'est la vie.

SIGH; this book.
I'm a bit disappointed if I'm honest.
Take out the beginning where The so-called hero Carrick has an orgy with multiple women.
The fact that Peyton is the doppelganger of his dead fiancee; and he hasn't moved on from her death and its been like eight years.
And that he cant stay out of his playroom with OW when he's on a short break from his relationship with Peyton, and it was like almost instantly; whats with that?
And we're good.
I don't give a flying Eff that he doesn't bone said OW it still pissed me the hell off that he felt the need to act this way while supposedly in love with Peyton.
Like really!! wheres your patience and loyalty dude?
Carrick acted like an arrogant smuck throughout "Indulge"
Peyton I really liked and felt that at times she deserved better than Carrick's less than stellar regard.
I also think she was much to understanding of a certain scene she walked in on; I wanted her to brick his balls and make him suffer in unimaginable ways; cough! cough!
So yeh despite the above; this was still an excellently written read that did capture my attention it just also managed to a piss me the hell off as well; sigh.
Such a shame as this was so well written; just not my bag in terms of OW action and as I said earlier Carrick was a big fat dick.
After careful consideration, I still gave this a three-star rating as I did finish and was somewhat invested here; just not sure it was altogether for the right reasons.
On a plus note, I did enjoy the epilogue here.

Indulge is book three in the Sins of Seven series. I highly recommend you read Kneel and Whisper before you read Indulge. This is such a great series you won’t wanna miss out.
Indulge is the story of Carrick and Peyton. From book one I was really looking forward to Carricks story and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. I absolutely loved Carrick and Peyton. They were so hot together.
I do believe this series just keeps getting better. I absolutely loved book one and two and this is my favourite of the series so far.
I picked my kindle up to read a few chapters and ended up reading it in one sitting. I can’t seem to put this authors books down without inhaling them.
So looking forward to reading more of this series. I loved it.

Carrick and Peyton have so much chemistry it’s intense. I love this series and this book is just as amazing as the other two. Carrick has a wall up and is know for being a Dom to multiple ladies but will Peyton be his perfect sub? I will Indulge in this series over and over again, each story hooks me faster and deeper. Carrick has a past that goes deep and he carries the memories with him daily, he’s the Dom you’d love no matter how heartless he treats you. Peyton is as clean as they come compared to those who enjoy their time at Sins. The passion poured into this book is non stop, I feel the emotions they’re portraying deep in my heart. Unbelievable read that I couldn’t put down. I’m curious to the bad boy older brother and cannot wait for his story in the future. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

If you have read the other Sins of Seven books and you are anything like me you have wanted to know Carrick's story. We all know he indulged in women. He had connections in dark places, he was secretive and had a past that he didn't share. But he also was caring towards the woman that needed help and took care of people that needed it.
Peyton is a newbie to this life. She is running from a breakup and is best friends with Savannah. So she decides that she wants Carrick to introduce her to BDSM. Little does she know what she is getting into.
It was well worth the wait for this book. I loved it! Carrick is such a wonderful character and it was wonderful seeing him progress to a man falling in love with Peyton. It took a special woman like Peyton to bring him to his knees.
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for my honest review. And I can't wait to see who and what comes next!

Favourite Sins of Seven book yet! In this installment, Dani René brought in my favourite trope; mobs. Okay, it’s not front and center, but nevertheless it is there, and it works so well!
In this book we follow Carrick, a character present in all the other previous books of the Sins of Seven, and with every one of those books, we fell slightly for him. In Indulge, we would feel our heart slip into his hands with every turn of the page. He is an strong alpha male character, but he doesn’t come off as overly harsh or mean, he has a softness to him that we find ourselves craving. He makes us swoon like no other Sins man.
Peyton is my absolute favourite female in this series thus far. She’s got sass, a smart mouth, and she is a complete fish out of water. What is beautiful to read, is how she finds herself. How she becomes what she was meant to be. How she becomes who she was meant to be all along.
For some reason, Carrick and Peyton’s story is one that captivated me. It wasn’t too over the top or taboo, but it was reading a classic (of dark romance). A book with which you just snuggle on the couch with a cup of tea and indulge in - see what I did there?
So basically, loved it!
Dani René has this knack for just writing beautiful stories one after another. Beautiful stories are like orchids. Hard to grow, but so fulfilling once blossoming. She is one talented author, and I’m so happy to have discovered her.

Once again, Dani Rene gifts us with a story that squeezes your heart till you have nothing left to give. You alternately want to hug and scream at Carrick and Peyton, but mostly you melt at the luscious goodness that is their chemistry together. And in those moments I was screaming at them, my interest was piqued by a few supporting characters that I’m praying will get their own stories with the unique flair that this author can give. This book is a stand-alone but you simply must read the first two - for me, the waiting begins till the next release. Fantastic 5+ sizzling stars.

Time to Indulge in a wonderful guilty pleasure sorry Not sorry!!
Dani René has done it again with the continuation of this Hot, Sexy as Sin series. Indulge is book three in the sins of seven series it CAN be read as a stand alone but i have no doubt that which ever book you pick up you are going to want the rest.
Carrick captured my interest from the very first book and i have been dying to find out his story. He was dark and had this mysterious edge to him. He was utterly delicious and there was more to him than i was expecting.
Carrick and Peyton had so much chemistry it was intense right from the start. I'll be honest, i thought at first Carrick was going to be to much for Peyton. But the more she spoke the i realised she was quite a firecracker!! She became the perfect person for him, she was innocent but stronger than people perceived.
With each book that i read i become even more excited for the next book and their characters. Dani René loves to entice us and we love to be enticed.

Absolutely loved Carrick's story, one of lose, heart ache, and trying to open himself up again to love. Known as the playboy who plays with many women at a time , its time for Carrick to meet his match with Peyton. Altho innocent Peyton has been thru alot in her past, she is fiery and everything Carrick needs in a sub. Read how these two finally try and let go of the past to move to an amazing future hopefully together.

Carrick and Peyton are now my favorite couple Dani Rene has written. My heart was attached to Carrick and the broken man he was almost immediately. Peyton was such an incredibly easy character to relate to as she was trying to find herself and her identity through the club. My heart was pulling for them the whole time even with Carrick's stubbornness which was so prevelant.

Since that first book i've read by Dani René, Ace Of Hearts, this author has absolutely improved in the way that she delivers her stories. While her first novel was more of the contemporary romance genre, i've noticed that slowly but surely she's been leaning towards the edgier and darker side of BDSM and the dark nature of humans and their fantasies.
Indulge was really quite interesting. It captured my attention as well as my curiosity - there were more than one aspect that made me want to know more about these characters. While i hadn't read all of the previous books in this series, i didn't find it difficult to follow the storyline. In fact, we had a full new story when it came to Peyton and Carrick and these two together, wow. They are quite the pair.
There's no denying the fact that not every reader is going to fall head over heels in love with this book. Why? Because this book delves into the need for humiliation and pain, and trust me when i say that Carrick is more than happy to give it to Peyton. Although, this woman won't let herself be walked all over - so here's where you have to realize the difference between submission (where a woman has a tendency to follow the dictates of a Dom) and kink (where D/s doesn't come into play, but intimate encounters do include specific needs and wants). Is this book about D/s? personally, i don't think so, but that doesn't mean there aren't any elements of it.
I'm really curious to know more about this series, to find out more about the players that are all linked somehow to the Seven Sins club and see where Dani René will go from here.

Oh my!! Dani Rene has done it again!!! I could indulge in Indulge and this whole amazing series. I just can't get enough! Indulge is book 3 in the Sins of Seven Series. Each time I read a new book from the Sins of Seven Series I say this one was my favorite then I read the next one and BAM it blows me away! Dani Rene has a way of making you want more.
I can honestly say that Indulge is hot,sexy,passionate and at times dark but most of all there is an undeniable love between Carrick and Peyton. I started reading Indulge and it sucked me in and I couldn't stop. The more I got towards the end I slowed down not because I didn't want to see how it ended but because I hated to see it end. I have to say I'm sad and I'm in a book funk now.
Carrick is part owner in Sins Night Club. He is a sexy stubborn broken man with secrets. He is bound and determined to never fall in love again after a tragic incident, until he meets HER. The one woman that knocks him off his feet and that he can't resist. Carrick has to have her but will his past come back to haunt him?
Peyton is a feisty beautiful innocent broken woman. She had a dangerous complicated relationship with her ex fiancé that she's trying to put behind her. She wants to spread her wings so she leaves town to go visit her friend Savvy. Once she reaches Sins where Savvy works Peyton's life will never be the same.
Carrick is a sexy dominant that's known to be an ass and Peyton is a feisty spitfire. The two of them have an undeniable chemistry. The best books are the kinds that make you want to walk into the pages and live in the world the author creates. The kinds that you feel so strongly about that when you finish reading them it lingers in your mind long after you put the book down. Dani Rene creates those masterpieces.
I have been waiting for Carrick’s story. The best part is while I had preconceived notions; I should have known better because the author does not do the expected, she excels at twisting a story and eliciting every emotion possible from the reader.
This series is not a one-dimensional series where you can guess the journey of each character or their backstory. Each book develops over time and rips your heart each moment. It makes you want to fight for the characters. She still gives an atypical dark read where it respects the lifestyle instead of creating an abusive depiction. Instead, she creates a complexity that we can all relate to because who doesn’t have a complex life? Carrick’s story hits all of the right notes.
So indulge in this book, let it simmer through your mind and heart because it is worth the ride.

I can absolutely say that this is so far my favorite book in Sins of Seven!
Ms. Rene delivers a book so vivid in description and detail that everything just comes to life!
The book is so precise and crisp it’s like watching a movie!
The characters,Carrick and Peyton just grabbed ahold of my heart from the very start.
I was intrigued by Carrick since Kneel (bk 1).
He’s broody and brash but also loyal and very protective.
He’s fascinating and so intense!
He’s let his past dictate his present.
Peyton is such a sweet girl. Filled with sass and spunk.
Life has dealt her a crap hand but she is so strong and determined to keep moving forward.
I loved how these two first meet lol
The chemistry and tension between them just sizzles off the pages!
Together no matter what they are doing is fireworks and explosions!
The storyline and plot are really good and pulled me in instantaneously!
The writing is superb and flows perfectly.
Outstanding book!

Gluttony is Book 3 in the Seven Sins Series. my favourite so far. Carrick and Peyton's story. Carrick is a dominate who is part owner in Seven Sins Club a BDSM club and who seems to not be able to get enough women. Peyton who is visiting her friend Savannah who works at Seven Sins and herself is a submissive. Peyton has always wanted a closer look at the BDSM lifestyle finds her chance when she's meets Carrick both of them hide there secrets well. The chemistry between these two is amazing as they slowly discover each others deepest secrets and desires. only to have it lost, however they both keep going back for more heartache loss jealousy. follow this series and discover how this unfolds. Where do I even start?? This Sins of Seven Series is so hot, so delicious, so amazing. This time the story revolves around Carrick, the co-owner of Sins and Peyton, a friend of one of the Submissives, who comes to Chicago to visit. When Carrick sees her, sparks fly. They both have things in their past that may affect any kind of relationship they might want to have. But does it? Do they end up together? I love how this writer makes me so invested in these stories. The characters are so fully detailed that you can just envision how they look and feel. I can’t wait for the next in the series! Do yourself a favor, read this book! Read the entire series! You won’t be disappointed!!

This series just gets better and better!!!
Dani Rene has done it again! Carrick and Peyton so far are my favorite in this series. Peyton is a sassy, say what she thinks girl who is looking to step out of her comfort zone. And who better to do that then the infamous Carrick Anderson. Carrick has appeared in all the books so far and I was overly excited to get his story! I love this series and can't wait to see what else Dani has planned.

Nie jest on postacią prostą, która na samym wstępie pokaże co ma do zaoferowania - co to, to nie! Z nikim nie nawiązuje relacji, dla niego kobiety to tylko partnerki do łóżka, nic, poza tym. Zero uczuć to jego zasada... tylko co się wydarzy, gdy postanowi to zmienić dla nowopoznanej dziewczyny?
Peyton, dopiero co przyjechała o Chicago, a już ją wyciągnęła Savannah (tak dokładnie ta, poznana w poprzednich dwóch książkach) do klubu, bo skoro jej przyjaciółka wyraziła chęć poznania tego trybu życia, bo jest w tym sektorze świeżynką. Nie powinna zwracać uwagi na kogoś takiego jak Carrick, bo on nie szkoli niedoświadczonych dziewczyn, tylko bierze te które wiedz czego chcą na jedną noc i tyle.
Nie da się zaprzeczyć, że między tą dwójką będą lecieć iskry, każde z nich będzie chciało przeciągnąć linę na swoją stronę - Carrik jako dominujący mężczyzna, a Peyton jako nie uległa i nie przyzwyczajona do takiego podejścia do relacji, w którą właśnie weszła. Będą ze sobą grać w grę, która, mimo że wydaje się czymś co powinno ich od siebie odepchnąć, to jednak dzieje się całkiem inaczej, bo przyciągają się niczym magnesy. Powoli będziemy też poznawać to co skrywają oboje, a jest tego całkiem sporo, bo autorka nie oszczędziła obojga dodając im traum i przeciwności z przeszłości.
Myślę też, że jest to książka, która się spodoba większości czytelników, bo chociaż znajdziemy tu elementy BDSM to nie ma tu ekstremalnego tabu (jest jedna scena, która może czytelnika zrazić, ale polecam przymknąć na nią oko i czytać dalej, bo jest dobrze). Mam nadzieję, że się skusicie na poznanie historii Carricka i Peyton!

Indulge Dani Rene is book Three in the Sins of Seven series. This is the story of Carrick and Peyton.
I have read the previous books and they were so great I do think it will add to your enjoyment of this book if you read them first too. Carrick was a secondary character in the previous book so you build to love him from there. ..but you can make this a standalone book if you choose to do so.
Carrick has sworn off love after he had a bad run in with it and as part owner of the Sins Night Club he can indulge in other past times.
Peyton just got out of a very bad relationship and has come down to visit her friend and try new things to move past all the hurt.
When a kiss is stolen by Carrick it opens their eyes to something more but will they be willing to go forward or will their past stop them?
This was a hot emotional read that you won't want to put down. I can't wait for the next story in this series!

I loved reading Kneel and Whisper but Indulge is the amazeballest –yes, I made up that word.
Carrick lost the love of his life in a tragic way causing him to become the man he is today, a man whore. When he lays eyes on Peyton for the first time, he is reminded of the love he lost.
Peyton, sweet innocent Peyton. Peyton moved to Chicago after discovering who her dad and ex-fiancée really were, loan sharks for the mob. Her best friend, Savannah, has been bugging her to come out and check out Seven Sins.
Savannah wanted to set Peyton up with Carrick but changed her mind. When Peyton meets Carrick by mistake, things heat the efff up. Peyton does not hold her tongue when she meets Carrick, she is full of sass. Of course, Carrick loves it and kisses her. Needless to say, his face hurts after that. Peyton ends up asking Carrick to train her to be a submissive. Carrick, a non-submissive trainer, agrees.
This embarks them on territory neither of them wanted. Love. Peyton makes Carrick feel things he has not felt since he lost his fiancée.
Will Carrick admit to Peyton he loves her? Will Peyton admit to Carrick she loves him? Will they have the happy ever after they both deserve?
Dani Rene does not disappoint with Indulge. The chemistry Carrick and Peyton share is off the charts. When you start this book, be prepared because you will not put it down. I didn’t.

Ooh La La…just when you think BDSM gets your juices flowing, the author throws in a little Irish accent into the game. Here for it! Hello Mr. Irish Sir.
I loved this story to finish off this series. Carrick is throughout all the other books and we got such small glimpses into his past and personality…so I was so excited to see that this was his story!
His dark underground past. His heartbreak. His stubbornness shattered by a virgin sub interest. Well…it happens fast, so don’t blink; how hard Carrick falls I mean.
The way he devotes himself to training Peyton properly but at the same time more than ensuring she is well pleased (wink wink)…I ate it up! Yes, please, Sir!
Author totally lost some great BDSM and naughty party play scene opportunities towards the end of the book…I was a bit let down with the final party scene with Carrick brother “hanging out” with Peyton Kitten while his brothers face was all up in there. That scene just leaves you with some serious blue-balls (if you have em). Then we jump from that straight into vanilla….when you know, you’ll know. Just some lost opportunities. And his pet name for Peyton, “Kitten”, gave me a bit of an ick at times; it’s not my favorite!
Overall 3 star story line
Spice rating: 3.75 for the BDSM and group scenes. Not bad but could have been spicier. It was good.

For the longest time, Carrick was a mystery and I wanted to know more. I was intrigued by him in Kneel, Nate and Eva's story. Now, it is all about him finding himself physically as well as mentally with the lovely Peyton.
There angst throughout the story, which I wasn't expecting. I wish the communication was better between the characters. It seems like the lack in communication and the games being played caused the most issues. I wanted to shake the crap out of one or both at times. I can't wait for the next book in Seven Sins series. I'm curious about the relationship between a few characters.

Carrick knows love is merely a shattered memory. Until Peyton stumbles into his arms and he steals a kiss. One taste isn’t enough. One touch would never satiate him. And he does what he’s become accustomed to, he indulges in her. I gave this book two stars because I was excited to read Carrick's story, which turned out to be exactly what I thought it would be although he was a much sweeter character. I didn't get much chemistry between Carrick and Peyton but their insta love took like 3 days so there wasn't much time I guess. The sex was steamy, but there were a few holes in the story that didn't make sense, one being they couldn't seem to make up their minds if they were Irish or British. All over this was an ok read but I think I am done with this series now, that's not to say other will not like it, every one has different tastes, that's what makes the world interesting.
