A hunter with over 25 years of experience hunting elk in the U.S. and Canada, writes about his exploits. Each chapter is about a hunt and what transpired. The stories are humorous, deal with ethics, elk behavior, the unique characteristics of different locations, his hunting companions, and the unexpected. It's a life time's worth of campfire elk hunt stories in one book.

Hilarious and I liked that he didn't shy away from the hard topics. Not particularly well written though.
