For dog owners and lovers everywhere, C. J. Frick's Be the Person Your Dog Thinks You Are is a humorous, fully illustrated book that shows us that even when we feel at our worst, our dogs still think we’re the best―so start acting like it!
[Eng] I thought it was a beautiful book in every way. The English is simple and very easy to read, I think the drawings are wonderful. I would have liked very much that apart from sentences that have all the coherence, there was a totally logical explanation behind them, because with the dogs you have to have a lot of patience that it seems that there are people who acquire these animals and it seems that they want them to behave like humans and nothing is further from the reality.
And I am not much of a critic of what others do with their pets (as long as it is not harmful to their health) but I do NOT recommend painting your dogs' nails, there is a beautiful illustration where you can see this practice so common.
A simple, quick read that is really inspirational.
Dogs have been regarded as human’s best friends for ages. Having a lower maintenance than cats, dogs view their owners respectfully and often lead a cheerful life. Written from dogs’ perspective, supplemented with cute illustrations, author lists out life quotes that we should live by to make our lives to ourselves and others better.
This was lovely and simple. The advice is universal (whether you have a dog or not). I like the simplicity of the illustrations, but also lovely. Over all a simple but lovely and pretty book. It is a book I would probably recommend if someone asked me about it.
