This book has been the book that many fans have been waiting for. Mason’s book. This is a series so you will want to have read the others before this one. Mason’s story made my heart hurt I just wanted him to be happy throughout the book and I wanted to scream at him when he was being pigheaded when we all could tell who his happy ended was. I liked how the first few chapters were flashbacks building to present day which gave the reader time to fall in love with the two characters and really root for them.

Sofia is a survivor and all her actions she believed would protect the people she loved her cousin, her man and someone else which made me squeal I did not see that coming.

Mason the man who tries to do the right thing but in the end understands you cannot escape or push away someone who is so right for him.

I am hoping that this is not the last time we see these characters because I am not ready just yet to let them go.

I am a lover of Mafia stories and this series is one of my favorites. I couldn’t wait for Mason’s story, and let me just say, it is so worth the wait! Mason is having trouble getting over something from his past but when Sofia comes along, can she help him move on? Even though a relationship between these two may seem forbidden, you just know that these two are right for each other. After one night together, Mason keeps Sofia at a distance as he doesn’t want her involved in his kind of danger. But Sofia is a spitfire, and wants him in her life. But when he finds out about what’s she has done, can he forgive her?

I loved everything about Mason and Sofia’s story. From beginning to end, this story keeps you captivated, so much so, that I read it in one sitting. I just couldn’t put it down, I had to know what happened next! This story takes you on a wild, dark and twisty ride. One of which you never want to end. Please do yourself a favor and read this series and this book. You will fall in love with these characters just like I did! It’s absolutely incredible!

For me, Mason's story has been one of the most anticipated reads out of all the books in this series. And I will say the author DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Andrea Joy, brought it all together. It gave you the feels. It makes you cry, it makes you angry. Makes swoon and all the above. I absolutely loved this story something fierce. I couldn't put this story down.

I'm sad that this is the last of the series. But, I'm excited to read what's to come from this author.

5 stars to me isn't enough for this story. If I could I'd give 10.

Years and years of lusting after a married, then widowed man, has Sofia taking whatever chances she can to be with Mason.

Despite her own trauma shes always loved one man only.

Mason thought his one and only was his deceased wife Emily. The one he met and loved solely since he was 15.

After his loss, he never believed he would ever love again, despite his growing attraction to Sofia.

This story follows their love and shows just how the famiglia is taught family is everything

Sofia and Mason

Sofia is young and Mason is a sexy handsome older widower who lost his wife and found a younger woman he was thinking of.. Sofia. Then someone came along broken threatening Sofia. But, Sofia also was truly in Love with Mason. She had to protect her family from the threat. But, she is carrying Mason baby..you have to read there is twist and turn, romance, and more.

Fast read

Great, quick read. Read in one day. Everyone loves an age gap. I do wish the story was a little longer & more details into the mafia side. Overall, I really enjoyed the quick read on a rainy day!
