There were not nearly enough fairies in this. There needed to be way more fairies. One of my students lent me this one and another one. She was super excited to show me her huge stack of Thea Stilton books, and I gushed over them until she really wanted to lend me some. Here's the thing: I am so unpretentious about what my kids read. Their parents fret because they're not reading "good enough" books, but you need to be careful with that. Don't tell your kids that what they enjoy isn't good enough. Or isn't a "real" book. You will crush their confidence so fast, to say nothing of their self-worth. Let them read what they like and they will be more inclined to look for other things they will like to read. They will lead themselves to other things, or you can help by finding them related books. I will assign them books, and some won't be fun to read, so I'm not going to tell them they shouldn't read what they enjoy and turn reading into an all-work-no-play kind of thing. I will also work very hard to find them things they will like, things that will challenge them, but I'm never going to tell them what they should or should not be reading. So yes, if your kid wants to show me their books, I'm going to be excited by that. Every time. And if they want to lend them to me, I will take them home and I will read them, dammit, because books are the most fun when they are shared. Plus, I am a huge fan of Thea Stilton books anyway. I love the colours, the textual treatment, the characters, and the concept. They are very excellent, and realistically your kid could do so much worse.
The story basically has seven main characters-Thea,Nicky,Colette,Violet,Paulina,Pamela and Will-with a character-Nina- for the ending of the story. On the way, they met many fairies, pixies and other magical creatures.Friend or foe ,they are ready to help a loyal, un-met friend.
In the beginning of the story,Thea told them that she was going to go on a mission to save Nina, who was in trouble in the Land of Erin,a fantasy land in Ireland, studied by Nina (and the I.I.S.)before her disappearance.
The Thea Sisters decided to follow Thea’s mission. So,they called the I.I.S(Institute of Incredible Studies)and Will agreed that they could come, while Thea followed important instructions given by the I.I.S..
Thea went to a town along the Irish coast. In there, she went to the Dogwalk Inn.In the book,it said that a I.I.S. agent will be waiting for her.Thea found the agent in no time, and he said his name was Ted O’Malley.
In the book, the Thea Sisters became agents of the I.I.S..They went to the secret portal-a crystal elevator-to go to the Land of Erin to save Nina.
The Land of Erin is in danger. King Waveshaker is angry, because the ones of the Court of the Discontented has stolen his gold, which is introduced as a traditional crown for the rulers of the Land of Erin at the end of the book and when is took by somebody else, turns into golden nuggets.
In the book, there are a few bits where there are silly, nonsense words like”Cheese and crackers”,”Pooka”,”mouselets” and other words like that. But there just there to confuse me from the real world and the “Mouse world”,which I believed in for a long time.
After I read the book,I had a feeling that I just came back from the”Mouse World”and had fell asleep,as if I had a dream, which gave me lots of inspiration write this and lots of self-confidence to do the AR(Accelerated Reader),or quiz, for the book.

This book was just fine, it was actually quite repetitive, there were a bunch of small plotholes and a lot of plot convenience. But on the other hand the book is very athmospheric and whimsical, so overall a middling book.
Yes, I know this is a children's book, but sometimes you just need something to reset, you know?
Here's how I would recommend it to a young reader: Have you ever been entranced by photos of Ireland? The lush green fields, the magical myths and legends? Thea Stilton is sent to Ireland to investigate the disappearance of a mouse agent named Nina. Thea, along with a group of other young investigators discover a magical portal that transports them to the Land of Erin where all of those myths and legends are real! They race to find Nina and discover why the Land of Erin is in danger. They meet new friends, some frightening foes, and discover that they are stronger together. The story is told with fun fonts and gorgeous illustrations, making this story a great one to read by the pool or in the air condition on a hot summer day.
Fairy misson!! This is an very adventuress fairy misson! The Thea sisters go on a amazing journey to a fantasy land! And Thea her self! Always the Thea Stiltons carry an interesting story! And some very funny parts! And it was a mystery.
My daughter is only 5 and she is already taking an interest in reading these novels!! She loves them! The Secret of the Fairies left her wanting more each night! Great books inspire great readers and I think the start of a love for reading is a book that leaves the reader wanting more! I love that this book took us to Ireland and explored some of the legendary creatures from this magical part of the world. My daughter loved looking at the pictures and she loves how the fonts change throughout the book, as they do in all of the Thea Stilton novels! I think for the age group intended this is a fabumouse book (and series) and we will definitely continue on many more journey’s with the Thea sisters as they embark on them as junior researchers for the I.I.S. As my daughter said she “feels like I just got added to the I.I.S family and I can’t wait to read the next book....can we find it today?” I’m so happy that she enjoyed this book and I’m grateful that it has inspired her to find more like it in the future! Overall, I strongly recommend this book to any young reader who has a love of mythical creatures and a desire to seek out adventure!

Meh.
i love all of these books. but evenits like geronimo kingdom of fantasy thats a good thing cuz then your reliving your fav things about the thea sisters. the authrs to explore and imagine what it would be like as fairy.
Way too predictable. Wasn't impressed at all. This reminded me too much of Geronimo Stilton & the kingdom of Fantasy. I wish the author could have been a little more creative.
Since I went to the children's section of the library I knew I was going to have many nostalgic moments…Precious feelings came to me while reading this book.
Reading a few chapters at a time, it took the whole month of July to get through this book with slightly less than attentive Minions. The 4yr old loves Thea Stilton and has several of her books but this is the first time we actually read all the words. The 6yr old is a huge Geromino Stilton fan but was very helpful in reading over my shoulder and sneaking ahead in the book when I wasn't looking. They have voted this as a 4star book but do state that this is just the beginning of many family reads.
A magical world is in danger! The Thea Sisters are on their way. . . . Thea Stilton and the Thea Sisters are on an expedition to the fantastical Land of Erin. While they are searching for a missing friend, they learn that the land itself is in peril! The mouselets are ready to help. On their journey, they encounter fairies, pixies, and other magical creatures -- some helpful, but some out to trick them! Can the Thea Sisters save the Land of Erin before it's too late? It's an adventure full of mystery and friendship!
Thea stilton got a mission from the seven roses unit. It said the land of Erin is in trouble. Thea stilton told Thea Sisters, that I am going to find Nina. She used to be a promising agent in The Seven roses unit. Thea sisters told her, can we also come with you. We had so many adventures together. And then the Thea Sisters went to surprise Thea Stilton on her journey. They saw magical creatures and the sound of cannon. And then Thea sisters and Thea Stilton were trapped in leafy cage. The guards trapped them in a big enormous castle.
An entertaining read. The plot meandered through magical lands as our characters encountered new creatures with the goal to find a missing friend. It seemed a bit random, but ultimately ended with them completing the mission they set out to complete. I would have given it more stars if the plot were not so haphazard. My 5yr old enjoyed it. And the illustrations are very good, as always in these books.
Here we are again. A 5 stars book. I feel like I give too many books five stars. People are like :’ I’ve only read 3 five stars books this year.’ And then you have me who’s only read 3 non-five stars books. And this book adds another five star. Am I the only one that kinda had a crush on Will Mystery? I can’t be the only one but Idk it feels weird.
The book tells the very first mission of the thea sisters in the seven roses unit. Will mistery the head was quite impressed with the work of thea and thea sisters and so he gave them a promotion
This book did start off a bit boring, but it was WORTH it! So much so and so badly!!! I love the characters and the mythology put into each one of these books, it really does help communicate the sense of theme and emotion to the reader!!!
This book was good. It's a children's book so there are some unrealistic situations but it was still entertaining to read. I got through this book fairly quickly and I do like how the world building is done in this book.
My 10-year-old niece gave me this book to borrow because she thought I’d like it 🥹 It’s a very sweet story full of mystery, fun magical creatures, and fantastical lands! A perfect book series for her age group 🙂
