Now..I love LOVED me some Archer and Jake...*swoon* so I wasn't sure what I thought about Bennett...he couldn't possibly steal my heart like the others??
But y'all I was wrong...I loved Bennet so freaking much. I JUST CAN'T TELL Y'ALL HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS SERIES!! Each book has been amazing and different from the other 💜 I'm so happy Rosa Sharon told me I needed to read this series and I finally did!!
I will say Bennett's love interest sure did make me "stabby" at times lol. She made me want to throw my Kindle more than once lol

This book is the 3rd in the series. I was a little nervous this story wouldn’t live up to my hopes. I’m happy to say it did, and that much more. Haley Jenner really know how to write book-boyfriends. The story is about a confident Bennett James, and shy Darci Walker who we met in book 1 Archer, and book 2 Jake. They are both friends to the couples from the other stories. I suggest if you haven’t read them then go read them before this one. Bennett and Darci grew up with their friends circling each other.
Bennett is the kind of man who is sexy without trying, and has a big smile that reaches his eyes. He knows what he wants and goes for it. Bennett is also a man who knows who he wants and goes for her. There’s a reason Bennett is best friends with Archer. These men know how to make a woman’s mind swoon, how to make their body’s burn, and make their hearts fly.
Darci is soft spoken, and shy. She calls herself clumsy and a geek while trying to hide behind her glasses. So when she feels hunted by the guy she’s always crushed on she lets herself get caught. If only for one time, plus he won’t want her if the thrill is gone and he sees who she really is. She just can’t help blushing thinking about him.
What she doesn’t realize is her blush is what Bennett loves, and he’s not only seen her a long time but he’s been calling her Red Riding Hood for a reason. Approach there situation as a wolf, slowly and ready to give it his all.
What no seemed to notice is that Darci was the wolf in sheeps skin. How about Bennett didn’t trap his prey. He freed her from her own cage. He’s so swoony! There’s a big secret to this book but I don’t want to give it away, let just say something is growing and it’s going to change their lives.

I wanted to give Bennett all the stars. In all honesty Bennett does have all the stars. What took away from them was Darci. Her constant indecisiveness really took away from the story a bit. I loved the fairy tale mentions, we are Red Hatter for a reason. Red Riding Hood is my favorite fairy tale. I loved the nicknames and how the author incorporated the fairy tales in the story. I loved Bennett and Francesca. I just couldn't like Darci.
Bennett is an amazing character and I love the drive he has. He wants Darci no matter what and after everything she puts him through he doesn't give up on her. Darci can't decide what she wants and takes pushing Bennett away to a new level. She pushes him so much I think it was around 80% that she finally stopped. That took away from their connection a bit to me. I could feel their connection and see the feelings flowing when they were intimate, but as soon as it was over she was running. It frustrates not only Bennett, but me as a reader as well.
Overall, I liked the book. I wanted to love it so much, but couldn't. The sex was out of this world hot, the connection fell a bit but Bennett pretty much stole the entire story. Everyone wants a Bennett in their life. Through the bad I'll recommend this and definitely read the next one!

I've been waiting for this book ever since I devoured Archer and Jake. The Leave of a Maple series is something I can't get enough of and Bennett was another perfect addition. Reunited with all your favourite characters, and introduced to some new ones, Haley Jenner ensured one of my most anticipated reads of 2018 did not disappoint.
Bennett and Darci's story is different, complicated and so damn addictive. Confirming that opposites do indeed attract, each page is filled with priceless banter and intoxicating sensuality. In a constant state of push and pull, Bennett and Darci take readers on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, as they endeavour to find their happy ever after.
Haley Jenner might be new in the game, but their words hold strength, their storylines are fresh and their characters guarantee longevity.
Bennett is just another reason I've fallen in love with this duo, and I can't wait to see what's next.

Oh. My. Gosh. This is the first book I have read by Haley Jenner and in the words of Bennett, I am Blissfully ruined. I don’t know how I’ll move on to another book. This story line captivated me and wrecked me from the first line. I cried with Darci, screamed with her, and may have called her out on her BS a couple times. But I was with her the whole way. Please, PLEASE read this book! You won’t regret it. I’m off to start the other books in the series because I just can’t let go of these characters yet.
Darci is awkward, and blooms with color at the slightest compliment or flirty glance. Bennett can’t get enough of her after the first encounter. What they thought would be a one night stand quickly evolved into an intense obsession which abruptly comes to a halt for reasons Darci knows and Bennett can’t begin to imagine. Once the cat is let out of the bag so to speak, they become consumed with each other again, but even the best relationships run into road blocks. Read Bennett! I promise you won’t regret picking it up and you seriously won’t be able to put it back down.

A nice and lovely read. But it didn't have on me the same effect as Archer and Jake. Less emotional and a little bit repetitive. I didn't feel as much as with the first two novels: I was expecting to cry, laugh, be mad, be hopeful, hopeless, love ... with deep intensity but it did not happened :( Don't get me wrong, the book is good, but just not what I was expecting after Archer and Jake. I loved Bennett very much though, he is such an amazing guy. Didn't connect with Darci as much.
Now, I'm really looking forward to reading Luca! Let's see what surprises that one brings!! :D

Oh dear god BENNETT MARRY ME!! Another incredible read by this insanely talented pair. I cried so much in this book, not because of the heartache this time but over the insane intertwined love stories. (Jakes special moments......swoon) The lead female in this book (Darci) I freaking love, she is sweet, fierce and so sassy in her own right. Don’t even get me started on Bennett, seriously kills me! He is so devine!!! If possible I love Archer even more in this book, my heart raced every time he entered a chapter!! This book is beautiful, raunchy and another masterpiece!! I can’t wait to read more from my favorite writers!!!!

Holy hell.
My favourite book of the series so far for sure.
Couldn't put it down from start to finish and my face hurts from grinning.

I've finished one of my favorite books. Seriously. This duo is amazing. They deserve to thrive.
Bennett started me off all hot and bothered. It was sexy, angst-filled and nearly drove me out of my head.
A night of passion leads Bennett and his little red riding hood, Darci down a road neither one of them expected.
I'm telling you, these ladies know how to bring it and they bring it well.
I fell in love with Archer, wanted to cry reading Jake. But Bennett, he stole my heart.
The man, God, this man is everything I wasn't expecting.

sorry but again it's a NOPE, this series it's all the same, this back and forth with no loyalty involved,
someone always runs from the other. Months passed without contact,sometimes years. basically same shit but different couple. i don't mind ups and downs in a relationship but for me it's very important how a story starts. and seeing them doing this back and forth it's like they aren't involved enough to do something, or to wait for the person without going with others. DNF, and at this point i dont think i will read Luca's book :/

Bennet, Bennet, Bennet James how long has it taken me to get around to reading you? If only more man were like you there would be more happy women in this world. You are hot, sexy, sensitive, charming, understanding, popular, honest and a Lady Killer. I loved Archer he almost broke my heart completely and Jake made me want to give him a big cuddle as I felt so bad for his story. So what did I get from Bennet????

Darci has two sides to her the sweet timid shy girl that believes no one like Bennet would ever look at a girl like her and the other side that when is behind closed door goes wild. She blushed at his smiles, she crumbles in his arms, she runs from him.

Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf is not fairytale it’s a hot and steamy read that will have you wishing for more. When opposites attract you never know what you will get.

I love how Darci stepped up to Annabelle and Aubrey about their hatred and fighting.
“You are both so stubborn and angry and it’s caused a giant rift in my life. So I’m stepping away completely. I refuse to balance any longer.”

That’s what the authors will do to you as well after you read this book, Ruin you in the best possible way with the there wonderful writing style. I loved the dirty talk and the chemistry these two heated up my screen with. If you have not read the “Leaves of Maple series” I urge you to do so as each and every book will impress you and have you thinking about it even after you finish reading.

Great story! Bennett is the third book in the Leaves of Maple series. I really suggest reading the others in the series as they are all interconnected even though we get a different couple in each book. This book has humor and heat, but it also has that tell-tale angst that Jenner is known for.
We learned about these two characters in book one. I really liked seeing the relationship these two have through their own eyes. We have gotten glimpses of them through others points of views, but I felt it was important to see their story from their own. With their own words and thoughts, we are able to really get a feel for them. I liked their story.
I liked Darci. She was written realistically. She has some insecurities, but that is normal. I liked how she was able to move past them and become who she needed to be. Then you have Bennett. He is a great character. I liked his personality and reactions. Especially with the big bomb that was dropped in this story. He is a better man than most
I feel like this story is based on the heat between these two. These two have had this chemistry crackling between them ever since book one. As the story progresses, the heat just keeps getting better. This aspect of the book was perfect.
The writing style of this book was good. The pace of the story was steady. I liked the dual point of views. I liked that we got to see some other characters as well. I really loved the surprise story-line. I wasn’t expecting that, although maybe I should have. It was great.
Overall, this is a great book. I really liked Bennett and Darci’s story. I cannot wait to see what is going on with Luca next. I would recommend this book and the series to others.

Will Darci learn to trust Bennett or will she lose him completely thru her own insecurities?
This is such a great series and I love the continuing stories through the books.
I really liked Bennett and knew his reputation of a bit of a player, but I saw none of that at all in this book. Bennett cared so much about Darci and wanted a relationship with her but every time he thought he was getting closer to her she would pull away from him. Bennett was a super hard worker and I loved that this showed a side of him that was dedicated and reliable.
I liked Darci a lot but then when she kept pulling away from Bennett I was so confused. He treated her so well and I couldn’t understand why she kept pulling away from him time after time.

I just realized I never wrote a review for this book. How? I don't know! I LOVED this book. I LOVE this series. I've never read books written by two people that have flowed this well, ever. The way that these two authors write together is magical beauty.
I've loved these characters since book 1 (Archer.) I'm not sure that anyone will ever take his spot, but dang did Bennett come close. This book wasn't as full of angst as the past two, which was refreshing. It still had the emotions and feelings that I crave, but didn't destroy my heart like the others. Bennett is so sweet and knows what he wants. He didn't beat around the bush or play games. He knew what he wanted and was going to get it. I loved that about him.
Darci is so sweet, quite, and timid. She doesn't know her worth, but she deserves the world. She works hard and takes care of herself. I love her, seriously, I have a girl crush..on a character. I loved it when she finally lost her mind on some people, it was much deserved and way overdue, because she was finally standing up for what she wanted.
I love these two together, Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf (who really isn't all that bad) are the perfect combo and they wiggled their way into my heart where they'll stay for many years to come.
If you haven't read this series, by Haley Jenner (the amazing duo), you are SERIOUSLY missing out!!

This is such a great series and I love the continuing stories through the books.
I really liked Bennett and knew his reputation of a bit of a player, but I saw none of that at all in this book. Bennett cared so much about Darci and wanted a relationship with her but every time he thought he was getting closer to her she would pull away from him. Bennett was a super hard worker and I loved that this showed a side of him that was dedicated and reliable.
I liked Darci a lot but then when she kept pulling away from Bennett I was so confused. He treated her so well and I couldn’t understand why she kept pulling away from him time after time.
I was surprised at the first reveal and I really thought it would help Darci when she saw how Bennett stood by her but se kept pushing him away. I actually really enjoyed Bennett’s blow up at Darci regarding her “whiplash” attitude towards him.
I was definitely freaking out a little when Bennett got hurt and I wondered what was going to happen with him!
The incident at the Coffee House was so depressing and I wondered how Darci was going to recover but I had faith in Bennett and Archer!
The end was great and I was so happy with Darci and Bennett!!

I finished Bennett several days ago and I can't stop thinking about it. The authors have done this to me with every book of theirs that I have read so far. This series is one of the best I have ever read and with each book they manage to create a completely new original story line with new (although we've met them previously!) outstanding characters with brilliant unique personalities! Bennett James is effing perfection. Done. He is sweet, caring, 100% charming and he takes patience to a level never before seen. Oh, and he is an all powerful deity during sexy times. My my MY the sex scenes and dirty talk in this book were some of the hottest I have read in a long time!

I can describe Bennett with two words Lady Killer and I’ve been smitten since I was a young teen. Although I saw him standing out in the crowd I’ve always blended into the background. I’m the owner of the local coffee shop and Annabelle’s friend Darcy. I tend to be socially awkward, shy and a hopeless romantic. Not sure how or why but one night Bennett followed me into the storage closet. My inner minx came out to play and we had the best sex of my life. Bennett was blown away by my extreme personality change, he loved it and couldn’t get enough. Meanwhile I was ashamed of myself, OMG I can’t belive I behaved like that! When in a panic there’s only one thing you can do, run and run I did. Bennett tried to give me space so I could get accustomed to the change in our relationship. He was the hunter and I was the catch. I thought he was playing with me and would get bored, surely he’s not really interested in me?

I was so happy to finally get back into the leave of maple series and i couldn’t have been more happier to get Darcy and Bennett’s story.
Bennett was sweet and always had his heart on his sleeve and was just a great day and i love that it’s was Darci who was the one that kept pushing back and fourth. She really didn’t know what she wanted and what to trust and it did frustrate me throughout the book but i love that cause that meant i was getting right into the story.
This book was hot and steamy with quite a few surprises along the way some bad and some good and some so freaking funny.
I loved that we got all the gang Anabelle, Archer, Toby, Williow, Aubrey and Jake and to continue their love stories through this book as well and we get to meet Frankie who was Darci’s sister absolutely loved her as a character and everyone needs a Frankie in their life.

Love this story between Bennett and Darci - she was so shy and thought she was totally out of Bennett's league - he was best friends with Archer, Jake and Toby - and she was best friends with Annabelle, Aubrey and Willow, their better halves. When Darci and Bennett hookup just once, he is ruined for any other woman - the blush on her cheeks and the way she comes alive just with his touch - he can't wait to get to know her, to date her and yes more sex. Darci doesn't think it is even in the realm of possibility that Bennett would be remotely interested in her, she has been enamored of him, - since she was 14, little did she know, he had noticed her too.
What a great love - he finally broke down her walls, but the story of them getting there is absolutely worth the read.

Bennett and Darci's story did not disappoint. This book was not as emotionally heartbreaking as Archer and Jake but it was up there. They have an amazing chemistry and I love the fairytale aspect to it.
This book had one of the most romantic proposals I have read in a book and one that was sweet.
I cannot wait to read the rest of this series and do a reread of the whole series.
The more books I read by Haley Jenner the better they get.

Bennett and Darci have chemistry in spades, but Darci is a little skittish, having been burned before. I really love Bennett - he's sexy, all alpha, so steadfast in his feelings. This big bad wolf needed to capture his Red Riding Hood girl, and it was an amazing story, down to the end. The highs and lows, the love and laughter, and the angst, all made this a wonderful read. I love how Frankie also supports Darci, and she becomes more prominent in this book, making me think she's about to get her story too! Can't wait!

Totally ruined but in the best possible way. Each book in this series gets better and better. Although each book focuses on one couple I suggest you read them in order, it will only heighten your Haley Jenner experience.
Bennett and Darci are the perfect couple because they bring out another side of each other they are the perfect balance.
Darci, the shy quiet type becomes someone totally different when in the presence of Bennett. She might not realise it but there is a sense of trust there which to me means she found her better half.
Bennett is the more outgoing type, in the sense that he goes after what he wants; not afraid to say what is on his mind. When he sets his eyes on Darci all bets are off! The chemistry is so good between these two you will definitely not be bored!!
What a beautiful story about opposites attracting. We are all plagued with moments of self-doubt when interested in someone and I think Haley Jenner did a great job in addressing this on both sides.. Red riding hood and the wolf are a fairy tale in the making!!!

I really liked the story for Bennett. He was a fantastic man who is super awesome and fun! He really pushed the story forward and the sexy scenes were very hot as well! I thought he was very loyal and honest about his feelings. The only thing that was a little off was Darci. She was a little too much on the back and forth for me to get comfortable with her.

Oh Bennett and Darci! Another amazing and sweet Leaves of Maple sweet couple from Carnation. They definitely scorch up the pages, with his dirty talk and her being so shy. That is until she decides to have some fun with this Bennett she's crushed in since her teenage years. He's not just into her for their passion, he wants to persue something more. Darci falls victim to Bennet's charm all the time.

Loved loved loved Bennett! He is everything I’m looking for in a man! Lol I loved him and Darci together even if she did push him away quite a bit! Their red riding hood and the big bad wolf fairy tale theme they had going was pretty sweet! Their chemistry was fire! Like, fanning myself over here quite a bit, fire! I absolutely adored Frankie and can’t wait to read her and Luca’s story! I enjoyed seeing the whole gang back together and watching bits of their journey as well! Fabulous story!

This book was nothing short of epic. It was a page turner and I couldn’t put it down. I went through so many emotions, the good and the bad and the ending was what made me feel so overwhelmed with love, happiness and tears. I love all of these damn books to date and how you can relate on such a personal level to everyone in the novel. I can not wait for Luca to be released. You girls are shining ❤️ love always, T
