The two original Mocklore novels in one volume! #1 Splashdance Silver #2 Liquid Gold
SPLASHDANCE SILVER
Kassa Daggersharp has been avoiding her legacy as the daughter of infamous parents for far too long. But the death of her father, Vicious Bigbeard, leaves her the heir of a precious treasure trove, the Splashdance silver.
All she has to do is form a pirate crew from scratch, dodge the minions of the new Lady Emperor, learn how to control her long-neglected magic, and win the loyalty of the worst traitor in the history of the Mocklore Empire.
No problem, right?
LIQUID GOLD
The most seductively dangerous substance in the world is invented by Mocklore alchemists... and promptly stolen by a beautiful troll. This golden goo with the power of time travel causes havok throughout the Mocklore Empire, causing damage to reality and even the Underworld.
It's a problem for everyone, but especially for Kassa, whose unexpected death by trinket leaves her in a prime position to investigate what's going wrong in the land of the dead... while her crew, left behind, have to decide what their futures hold.
Comedy pirates, saucy witches, magical explosions, gratuitous historical trivia and flying sheep… it's just another day in Mocklore.

Tansy Rayner Roberts is a fantasy and science fiction author who lives in southern Tasmania, somewhere between the tall mountain with snow on it, and the beach that points towards Antarctica.
Tansy has a PhD in Classics (with a special interest in poisonous Roman ladies), and an obsession with Musketeers.
You can hear Tansy talking about Doctor Who on the Verity! podcast. She also reads her own stories on the Sheep Might Fly podcast.
A young lady has to decide whether to be a pirate or a witch, which seems odd to me, as I read a number of books with pirate witch-queens as characters, but whatever.
I read both of these books when they were first released and absolutely fell in love. Don't bother reading my review, just know you're in good hands and go read!
Zany, magical and with a redhead who kicks butt, who would want to miss a story about a person trying to decide between becoming a pirate or a witch as is their birthright. Full of laughs and pacing that keeps you up all night long, these two books will always hold a special place in my heart.
This was hilarious. Roberts throws a bunch of fantasy tropes into a blender, and the result is a high speed, joyous adventure. Kassa Daggersharp is the daughter of pirates and witches, and doesn't want to pick which identity to stick with quite yet. Aragon Silversword is a former royal champion/famous betrayer who has to choose what side he's on. Daggar is Kassa's feckless cousin and kind of a slacker thief.
When Kassa's father dies, she has to find his legendary silver. The only problem is that everyone else wants it too. I don't even know how to describe all the shenanigans and double crossed they go through, but it was such fun and a delight to read--I stayed up way too late reading it. Book two in this omnibus brings in gods and time travel, and it's just as much madcap fun. Couldn't be happier to see there's a book 3 as well.
A very interesting book that i enjoyed reading. It has adventure in it, fun, humor, time, space, ships, gods, action, betrayal, and situations. This book combines two book in one so for me that a bonus. This book was a spectacular read. A must read for any and all book lovers everywhere.
Having previously read book 3, it was time to read books 1 & 2. Which is kind of fitting given the time travel shenanigans of book 2.
This omnibus is ridiculously magical & piratical shenanigans from beginning to end. I absolutely loved it, from the romantic hero that would really prefer to betray everyone & leave now please to the flying sheep. Kassa Daggersharp is the best kind of Pirate Queen.
