Another outstanding series!
Ansel's Game
Excellent writing; intriguing story!
Eight years before, Ruby Sayers and her brother, Griff, lost their parents who disappeared in an avalanche. Then suddenly, Ruby is alone! Enter Ansel Keto. Carpenter, unusual, a loner (except for his siblings), with a serious yen for one red-loving young woman. I very much enjoy Ruby and Ansel and the setting in the Catskills. The author captures the essence of the area, the people who live there, and brings their story to life. Ruby is so innocent. When Ansel first kisses her, he coaxes her so sweetly. She is shy and easily frightened. But she really loves those kisses! Watching these two progress into a relationship is delightful! The book begins with a mystery and progress is made, but the mystery is yet unsolved, so, stay tuned...more delicious story to come!

A rescue and a love story. Beautifully done!
I was uncertain about proceeding with this story, because I knew there would be some mighty big trouble waiting for them. But, you know what? This crew is up for almost anything. They're smart, plan for every contingency, highly capable, and determined to prevail! They know about what to expect, and they have the awesome assistance of a veteran warrior from this mirror world to advise them. That scarred and experienced warrior finds Milla Keto intriguing. She's got sharp edges, is used to being in charge, and just thinks a little sexy fun will help her relax before they attempt a rescue. John Alec, our intrepid warrior, calls her "my queen." It is very fitting. As for John Alec, who would guess the depths that lie within this 'plain,' battle-hardened warrior for justice? So much fine reading here!
Matt’s Game
Fantastical fiction. I love it!
I love Inka’s uninhibited free spirit; she is unusual and so different from her twin sister! Matt is also uniquely gifted, and absolutely adorable in his admiration of all things Inka. Matt is absolutely adorably awkward with Inka! At one point, during a movie, “Matt survived that particular showing with far less than the recommended intake of oxygen.” He’s a brilliant scientist, and a bit socially inept. But the research on which he’s spent his entire life is about to bear fruit. You must read this incredibly exciting book, with these two well-matched lovers. A fantastic story!
Kain’s Game
An excellent addition to a fantastic series!
The author deftly brings the characters to life and makes us want to know them; to be part of their family, to share adventures with them.
Valentina, John Alec’s younger (and much smaller) sister, is a skilled warrior. She can best her much larger brother any time. But now she’s alone (and lonely) in Herta. I adore Kain Keto! He loves his family and their mates, and his little niece holds a special place in his heart. He’s funny, playful, yet a masterful warrior when it’s needed. Watching the attraction between Valentina and Kain grow into something more is heartwarming. They have some major issues to iron out though, and the situation gets really rough as they fight off hunters and attempt to save as many Shifters as they can. I’m eager to read more in this series.
Griff’s Game
I simply love this series and the people between these pages!
In this story, Griff and Alayna are finally together again! Eight years apart leaves many changes, doubts, and concerns to overcome. Griff is amazing in his relentless pursuit; Alayna’s worries must be allayed. And shifters in Herta have begun to fight back against the Hunters. This volume is packed with adventure, danger, togetherness, and one of the sweetest love stories I’ve read!

unique world building
A very unique shifter series based on an alternate world called Herta that can open portals to Earth and lure shifters to their world to enslave them. The series focuses on the Keto family of bear shifters on Earth. Four siblings whose parents disappeared when they were young. Each story focuses on the siblings finding their loves plus the brother of one of the human wives. It starts with the human wife who sees her brother disappear into a glowing waterfall. Eventually the oldest Keto sibling gets involved with the disappearance and the portals to Herta are discovered along with the shifter slave trade. After that, there’s a ton of adventures as the Earth shifters make forays into Herta to find the missing brother and begin to meet and mate with Hertian warriors and work to free enslaved shifters. I liked the storylines and adventures a lot. The best warriors are the women and I appreciated the strong women partners. I took off one star as I felt the sex scenes were too drawn out, too detailed, too much. I don’t mind sex scenes in general but I found myself skimming over the scenes that went on page after page after page. This series is complete in that the conflicts with Herta are resolved by the end of the series and all of the siblings are coupled up. Good series!

Love of Family
Griffin has been home for 8 years now since he was rescued from Herta. He has a family with his sister Ruby and the Keto brothers and sisters. All he is missing is the girl he had to leave behind. Alayna is the one who got him through his captivity and when he was rescued he promised to come back for her. He has tried but every time he crosses over he instantly is close to death. His family is still crossing and saving shifters. On one trip Kain takes a hatchet to the chest meant for Valentina and even with his healing power almost dies until the red fox they were bringing back, shifts into her human form and saves him. She immediately shifts back as they make it through the portal. What she finds on the other side is Griffin. Everything changes and can Griffin and Alayna find each other again. The race is on to save more shifters and the humans on Herta.

I really enjoyed this series, which is composed of 5 books. The premise is that there is a world, Herta, where shifters are discriminated against, enslaved and tortured. Throughout the books, we follow a couple (and their family- each book builds upon the other) as they try to save more shifters from this awful world and try to bring them to Earth. Plenty of heroics, lots of steam and just overall, great characters make this series a fun read and listen. While I would have loved for the audiobook to have a male and female narrator, Craig Hart did a great job playing multiple characters and infusing his narration with a good amount of emotion consistent with the story. I am loving Selena Scott's shifter stories. I bought her ebook but requested and received the audiobook and i'm happy to have the opportunity to both read and listen to these fun stories.

When I first read Ansel and Ruby's story (book 1) I was irritated that there was definitely a cliff hanger. I can be a little scatterbrained sometimes and then just forget about wanting to continue reading the series, but sometimes the story is really good and then I wait for the next one. This is one of the plus sides of getting the whole series at once. Shifter Fever definitely doesn't disappoint. I loved the characters and how their relationships grow and intertwine with one another. The story is good and carries the characters over the span of all 5 books and the suspense of what awaits the characters never wanes. I really liked the premise of the story, being different than a lot of paranormal romances.

Awesome set of stories
All four books are a wonderful read, self-contained story but leads into the next or the back plot story. But it is best to read in order to get the full back plot.
The first two lead into each other so well, I couldn't stop till I finished the second book. I didn't start the third book till a few days later, but once I started I couldn't put the set down till I finished it bad the fourth.
Loved the world build and how you have a parallel world to earth through a portal that attracts shifters.
Each book has,a wonderful love story and some very hot loving to go with it.

An awesome binge read !!!
Wow is all I can think to say!! It's a must read set thats for sure !! Just wow wow wow . It starts with Ansel and Ruby's story and goes through the whole Keto family and includes Ruby's brother big surprise there didn't see things going in the direction they did. I just thought he was gone just poof gone. But no he was alive and boom he is in love with the king who enslaved shifters daughter who would have seen that coming! Another twist that same daughter ends up being of all things a shifter and Griff ends up being her true mate just WOW WOW WOW!!!

Follow the Keto family as they discover a parallel universe, rescue one of their own, fall in love and bring an evil empire to an end. This book had me hooked from beginning to end. Every character is fully developed, personable, likable, and your excited to follow their story. It had excitement, humor and heart. Really the only thing I dont think I ever put together were the title of the books, never completely understood why each was “game”, but I really didn’t care. 5 big hearts,

What a series!
I had the pleasure of reading and reviewing book 5 already. So happy I was able to catch up with the rest of the series. You will fall in love with the characters and won't be able to put the series down. Wish it had more drama in regards to the "saving" of the shifters on herta.

Good
A good story that takes you through the life of a family of bears and their adventures in an alternate world. Really nice to see this series as a set with all of the books easily running into the life of the next sibling. Good writing makes this an easy series to read back to back. Happy reading.

Good story
The story was good. The characters well developed and pull you into their lives. Ruby was the glue that brought all together.
This story contains graphic sex, vulgar language and the the Lord's name in vain. It lessened the book for me and cost the author two stars on this review.

Wow! This amazing box set includes all five books in the Shifter Fever Series, a Bear Shifters Romance. The stories are interconnected, with characters intertwined, and an ongoing plot throughout the series. The characters are amazing and well developed. The world building is intriguing and captivating. Craig A. Hart did an great job with the narration. I enjoyed it.

All of a sudden it's over
Each story leads to the next. They are blended so smoothly it's hard to tell when one ends and the other begins. Then all of a sudden you are at the end, flipping the page expecting it to keep going only to find that it really is the end. What's next Selena? I need another HEA.

From shifters being captured to fighting for their freedom, love, family and a never give up attitude I really enjoyed every story in this boxset.
Each books story follows on from the last and brings all the main characters into every story to the final conclusion.
Well written and great lovable characters.
Enjoyed the narration too.
Would definitely recommend this set of books.

Awesome Fantasy Shifter Series
This shifter story was great. I almost stopped reading after book 1. Cliffhanger! Glad I kept reading. I really enjoyed how each character grew over time. I love how the author built an entirely different world within worlds to tell such a great storyline.

If you're looking for a Shapeshifter romance with attitude, this one's for you. Each story is unique and the characters are very much individuals, overlaying one main goal that gets resolved by the final book. Usually these kinds of series is the same story tweed in each installment but this one seems to have the perfect mix for each story in the series to be unique.

This was extremely painful. I made it almost 50% through the first book and I had to stop. And the books are extremely short. It is 3rd person POV but the thing that drove me crazy was the constant use of first and last name when referring to each other. Even when kissing! The verbiage was just off. I felt like I was back in time.

Good action filled shifter romance
I chose this rating because it was well written and kept my interest throughout the book. This book had action, romance and hot sex. I liked all the different personalities. I loved that Valentia could kick ass better than the guys!

I enjoyed reading the whole series at once, that way you can keep up with all the characters throughout the series. The stories themselves were great and one unique from the others.
