Wanita May grew up in the fruit belt of Ontario - St.Catharines. Crazy-happy childhood, she always has had a vivid imagination and loads of energy.

The youngest of six -- four older brothers, and a sister -- taught her at a young age to be competitive in all aspects of life.

At sixteen, she began competing in athletics (track and field) and before she turned seventeen, she was representing Canada in high jump. She continued to compete, breaking Canada's JR High Jump record (1.92m - 6' 3 1/2" for those metric-ly challenged). She attented University of Toronto, and Kansas State University - winning CIAU's and becoming All-American 6x - NCAA Indoors Runner Up + more.

But you're not interested in her athletic career - unless of course you're curious to know she stands 1.70m (5'7") and has jumped 20cm over her head on more than one occassion. She's represented Canada at the World Championships, World Jrs., won Francophone Games, and loved every minute of every competition. From the grueling workouts, the crazy weights she lifted on her back, the days she thought her lungs were going to spit out of her mouth for lack of oxygen, the travelling around the world and the opportunity to read - her favourite past time.

Life continued with her husband (a distance runner from Liverpool, UK, who she met at KSU) and then their first, then second and finally third child. Their house became full of more imagination and stories.

Wanita and her husband run an online business, dealing in antiques and collectables - particularly jewelry and porcelain (one of the business' website: www.wadeincanada.com ).

After her father passed away in 2009, from a six-year battle with cancer (which she still believes he won the fight against), she began to write again. A passion she'd loved for years, but realized life was too short to keep putting it off.

Her first book, Rae of Hope - from the Chronicles of Kerrigan - will be available October 2011 by kNight Romance Publishing.

She is currently represented by Dawn Dowdle of Blue Ridge Literary Agency. Wanita is a writer of Young Adult, Fantasy Fiction and where ever else her little muses take her.

I didn’t feel like much happened in this book compared to the first one in the series so I’m not really sure if it was worth the money. I think the author was just trying to make as much money out of the series as possible and that’s why there are so many books without much happening in each. I’m undecided as to whether I buy the next one or not because I do want to know how the story ends, I just don’t know if I’m prepared to pay £2.45 for each book in a series of 12.

Good book series

These books are holding my interest. I've just finished book 2 and bought book 3 with a sigh.I'm hooked and must know how this tale ends.

The amount of times that I laughed while I read this entire book is not written!
I never thought that I would laugh this much with this (these) books but here we are.
I loved the ending, the adrenaline pumping in my veins while I imagine the scene is from another world!
Can't wait to start the third book! (I will after I finish this)

I would have enjoyed this so much more if the characters didn't talk to each other like immature high school kids. The story and characters are interesting, but the writing needs some refinement. I want to know what happens, but the writing style stops me from continuing with the rest of the series.

Let’s recap book 1: The King is murdered by his son Kailas. Kailas wants to kill the princess Kat but the family wizard Alwyn helps her escape. Along her journey to find a safe haven she meets so many creatures - fairies, vampires, faes, shifters, witches …you name them. While all these are fun experience, it’s also hard for a human princess who’s been sheltered all her life. By the end of book 1, Kat finds something about her member Dylan…he’s not really who he said he was. And he’s the only one who can keep her safe. There’s also little bits of romance as well but just surface level.

Now for the review: The princess is just always ridiculous and Dylan is as well. The stupid banter they both have cracks me up and I find myself chuckling and smiling. Plus, the two additional friends they have are hilarious. And together they make a group of 4 ridiculous creatures 😂
Okay, I just loved the book. They continue their journey but getting the Princess to a safe house becomes impossible as unnatural events starts to take place. Mountains literally breaking. Snow in a climate that never gets snow in the summer and the king’s guard and dogs on their tail, will they survive it? There was more details that went in between the books, story telling within the book and I love it!
However I preferred the first book to the second because in some parts it didn’t flow as natural as the first one. And Dylan is a jerk. On a serious note, the romance is not there for me. I don’t really think they have a lot of connections to get to that… that point. So yeah…

I 💯 recommend you read this book or at least try to add it to your tbr for that someday you’ll read it ❤️

DEVASTATINGGG I did not like this one as much as the first. I think I just wanted more plot whereas this, while having a "plot" to keep it pumping, is much more a book interested in its characters. Which I do enjoy to a point.
I love the dynamic the four main characters have with each other. Also, #ALWYNSWEEP Love wizards forever. Aummmm I don't have much to say for it, other than I'm getting a little tired of all the "hecks" like omgggg commit and say hell or something... because you already say it!!! Heck is cringe!!! Middlegrade vibes!!! Which brings me to another point-- I actually like that while these books definitely have romance as its "secondary" (but let's be honest it's basically the primary) plot line, for the main couple it's moved... not instantly, which I appreciate, and I also like that it's not too steamy. Obviously remains to be seen if it continues in this way, but this fits in with the middlegrade vibes lol.
LOVEEEEE Tanya and Cassiel, my favies. Guhhhh and the whole portion of the book in Vale??? Exquisite. Also liked Laurelwood.
Liking Dylan less each chapter he's too angry :"( whart the..
Sooo sorry 2.5 stars in a 2 star kinda way.... I was a little bored during the mountain part and was also flabbergasted that ppl are getting basically killed left and right but just walk it off LOLLL.

U r absolutely right. I mean this entire series brings out a nostalgic feeling right? I mean that I can bet most of us now are not really interested in the fairy tales and all. But this is WJ May we r talking about.... She tends to get us attracted to almost anything she rights. Let me tell u after u have read this series u can read her other books as well. The chronicles of Kerrigan would be the best start for a Paranormal journey! Sorry if I said excess ,but I got a little bit excited .

She's the rightful Queen, and she's a bounty & death sentence on her head. She & her motley crew of supporters/protectors are on the run for their lives to get to sanctuary. Everywhere they run it's like her evil brother is one step ahead or beside them somehow...she must be extremely careful who she confides in and who she entrusts her life to or it could be costly. Burned bridges can be deadly as well!
Loved this novel and can't wait for more of the series! I received an ARC to read and review voluntarily.

Even better than the 1st and keeps you wanting more!

The plot line and all the feels you go through are an emotional rollercoaster. You truly can be laughing one second and wanting to cry the next or even at the same time because you not quite over the funny that just happened. I love the characters and as we learn more about them the more attached you become. This is just the book you need when your wanting an escape from reality that can lighten you heart and still contain a plot that is intriguing and adventurous.

Nothing much has changed since the first book. I do like some of the characters (well, just Tanya really), and I'm mildly curious as to what will happen next, but it's hard to muster more enthusiasm than that. There's periodically a moment when Kat is all "wow I've grown I'm so much more mature" or something but she's actually exactly the same.

Dylan's drama is getting old. I guess Tanya's really the only one I like now that I think about it, but she's not strong enough to carry me through the rest of the series.

I don’t know if I mentioned that these books tend to end on cliffhangers but they do! I’m totally lost in Kat’s adventure and been sitting on the edge of the seat. The only reason I didn’t fully freak out was because I saw how much was left to read.

This is a fantastic page turner with lots going on and lots of character development. I’ll be lost in this world for a while. Love it.

I think this adventure is good for 15 and older.

This book just keeps getting better and better. I had to stop in order to get some sleep, but I was this close, 🤌🏼, this close, to not getting any sleep at all. Safe to say I enjoy her books.
Like her previous book, this was also ends in a cliff hanger. I just couldn’t seem to help myself — again — with reading her next book.
Usually I hate really long series, so I’m kind of scared at how this is going to turn out, but I’m also hopeful. I guess we’ll just see how it goes.

Second book of The Queen's Alpha series. I'd consider it a YA book--easy, light, entertaining read with no explicit sex. Recommended for an easy, enjoyable, distracting read. It didn't require a lot of concentration, but it was interesting enough to keep me reading into the wee hours. It's not a plot that will withstand much critical thinking, but if you can suspend belief and not look too closely at plot inconsistancies, a fun read. Kind of like reading a detailed fairy tale.

The Queen's Alpha series Everlasting better or worse? yeah this book is worst then the first in the series.

The book has no real story or point, the characters always argue and banter like spoilt, woke teens. You just cannot take any of it serious just rubbish.

Overall This is 💩 boring just not worth a read at all really. The worst fantasy series I have read to date. I will not be reading the rest of the series.

One major complaint... why are these books so short?! 😭 I finished this in less than 24 hours.

Second slightly irritating factor - all medical issues just disappear due to adrenaline? I’ve never been in a life or death situation so I can’t speak from experience... but a shattered knee seems like that would hinder running. Along with a punctured lung... but hey, fairy tale world I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

Push through, you can do it!

This one was definitely harder to get through than the first. The group was mostly traveling and trying to come up with plans to survive. Aside from the natural disasters they had to overcome, it was pretty slow. The relationship between Dylan and Kat is getting rocky, so I'm curious to see how that goes!

I LOVED THIS BOOK! My ONLY critique is that I wish she hadn't mentioned twinkling eyes so much my. I read this book and series very quickly many of them in one sitting, and found myself dreaming of it's characters, yelling at them or for them, laughing, crying, I just got complete caught up on each book.

The saga started in Eternal continues at a steady, quick pace. It would really be better to have a day set aside for this book unless you are young enough not to need sleep.
I read an Advance Reader's Copy and this voluntary review is my own opinion.

Too short. I fell that the cliffhangers in this book and the 1st were unnecessary and between the two they could have been combined to make a good size book to read. Other than that it was a great read that was finished long before I was ready for it to end.

I thoroughly enjoyed. My own personal issue was the blatant use of today's slang. 'Bromance' was the one that made me cringe the most. There were plenty of others but I tried to ignore. Would have been 5 stars if the author didn't throw those throughout.

This group of characters are very good for each other. They bounce off each other with seriousness, humour and love interests. The plot thickens as we get to know them better through their journey. Excellent performance from Zac.
