A Stroke of Faith by Kim Petersen is an exciting short read where you discover Glen's violent history and follow his introduction to the dark force.
The story is gripping and at times gruesome yet tugs at your heart strings as you find yourself drawn into the emotions of the leading character.
A Stroke of Faith prequels Millie's Angel, and Petersen has done a great job at evoking interest in this inspiring series. Looking forward to the next installment.

Wow, I didn’t realize how much emotion this book would pack. Ms Petersen really knows how to put emotion into her characters. If you like your stories full of raw, heart-renching emotions, along with revenge, you will love this. Poor Glen. He has seen so much suffering in his life. He has also experienced it. This is a great prequel. It’s short but packs a lot of information. I can’t wait to see what happens. Can Glen fight the darkness that’s growing in him? I felt like I could relate to his feelings because the author takes you on an emotional ride with all that Glen experiences and how helpless he has been. I could really feel his anguish.

This is a short story - a prequel. I found this to be reasonably enjoyable and an interesting read and look forward to the rest of the series!
The protagonist is beset by evil and while trying to resist ends up succumbing somewhat. I would really like to know what actually happened to him
Still, an amazing tale!
