Yeah for 50 + Love!!!!
What I liked about this book was the age group. I read a lot of romance novels and was so glad to pick one in my age range. I loved the characters and how the author showed how things in life can change us but we should never give up on love ❤️. This is a good read for the 50 plus group who just need to have a renewed hope. I hope this author and others will write more material for this group. 50 is the new 40’s😊

Seasoned Love
This story could go on for several more chapters as we explore the second chance at love between Mona and Dexter. After coming to grips with his past Dexter sought to regain what he once had, love. Love with someone who he could spend the rest of his life. Mona ever the late had a second chance at love and happiness. Recognizing that she did not have to give up her dreams for love. The courtship between Mona and Dexter was sweet. It evolved with the consistency of knowing what you want and not holding back. It was also good seeing Sumeera and Johnette champion Mona's new lease on life. You'll smile and root for this story because it allows for redemption and love to take place.

My Rationalization:
What a beautiful story 'When Love Calls' was that featured Mona Gregory and Dexter Jenkins. I enjoyed reading this well-written novel about this mature couple [50s-60s] coming together where each one had some issues. Be ready for a good read that wasn't only 'heartwarming, romantic, with lots of drama' but also touched on the topic of alcoholism. I loved how this author handled this subject of alcohol. It was great seeing Mona finally getting her groove back and Dexter working out his situation. Finally seeing how Mona and Dexter were able to finally get past their past and move forward toward a beautiful life was simply one good read which included many of the Jenkins Family members from previous reads.

Mature love
I love to read stories of mature love that are treated appropriately. In this novella Mona and Dexter are grown parents/grandparents that are starting over in their lives post separation from long term relationships. Both have past issues that they aren’t proud of, but want to fully live in their mature years.

Great book!
Bought the book 'cause of the cover. How refreshing to have a hero and heroine who are mature!! The story didn't disappoint, these are real people with real issues. My only complaint was that it could have comfortably been full-length. I would have liked to find out more about her shop, and the scenes with ex-husband felt a bit hurried. But Denver's problems felt both real and realistic. Good solid contemporary that makes me want to find out more about the Jenkins.

Very beautiful story - A Must Read
Love the second time around can be so much sweeter and I loved Mona and Dexter's path to happily ever after. Both were older and had loved and lost. But this story gives you hope that love is still out there.

Loved Mona and Dexter
Seasoned love is just as sexy as those young ones. Seniors do it much better. Ms Cooper showed readers that love is found in all age brackets. A nicely told story. Mona deserved a good man, and Dexter just needed another chance. They each got that in one another... 5 #stars..

This is a great second chance at Love storyline. The story features ‘seasoned’ lovers, Dexter Jenkins and Mona Gregory. Author, Sharon Cooper did a great job in presenting a very entertaining story with main characters who have intriguing back stories that affect their present situations. Plus, it’s always good to be reunited with the Jenkins clan of Cincinnati. I recommend When Love Calls for your reading pleasure.

Every Jenkins family story just gets so much greater!
We were introduced to our older hero and heroine in Surmeera and Nick's story and I am glad to see that Dexter and Mona found common ground and love. Both Dexter and Mona had pasts that left scars - Dexter from his former problem with alcohol and Mona with a man she devoted thirty years of her life to yet even after fathering their daughter (Surmeera) still never married her. Add to that the fact that he stole her self esteem and with it she developed a warped idea of a committed relationship and despite these setback Dexter and Mona were still able to recognize true love. I am glad they realized that how they feel about each other is worth spending a lifetime together making themselves happy in the process. I loved this story. Great job once again Ms. Cooper definitely another great job.

Love really called
I'm always happy to see older people fall in love letting me know I still have a chance at love. I know their was some doubts about the relationship and days gone by without talking, they still found time to fine the other one and communicate and make things right. I've had fun reading just.about all of Sharon's book's. Thank You I've enjoyed reading all the one I've read and had fun doing it.

Love later in life!
Dexter and Mona’s story was refreshing. We never know the curve balls life may throw our way. Therefore, when love calls, we need answer it whether ready or not. I like Dexter was this laid back honorable man. He fell in love with Mona even when he knew she didn’t want a relationship or marriage. His love for her encouraged her to find love again and want marriage. Very lovely story.

Romance on steroids
This book was so doggone romantic to me! I loved the fact that it was an older couple. They fell in love in spite of both having had troubled pasts. As most older people have. If you like romance then you will enjoy "When Love Calls" I know I did. I have been a fan of Sharon C. Cooper sense I started reading her books & I have yet to be disappointed. Keep them coming Ms. Cooper I am a fan for life.

Enjoying reading the different series
I like reading books that are in series you get to know characters better. I find the books good for a quick read. As I read the different series some are better than others some the endings are what you expect. And some just end to quickly overall as I stated goog quick reafs

Never Too Late
It was exciting having a mature couple as the characters of the story. Mona and Dexter had experienced quite a bit of life before they met each other. Their story provided a look at how bad decisions in life don’t have to be the end of your story but can prepare you better for the next chapter.

Seasoned Love
I really enjoyed Dexter and Mona's story. This mature love story was well written and showed that it is never too late for one to find true love. Despite their past, Mona and Dexter were able to have a second chance. I also loved that Mona and Sumeera had a second chance, and their mother/daughter relationship was repaired.
