I relished each story as all were entertaining reads and look forward to reading more books by this author. If you treasure shifter romances this is a must-have for your library. {I was gifted a copy of this set and this is my honest review}. In the world of fantasy romance, the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservations, I recommend this set.
D.D.E.N., Inc. were fun guys. Really enjoyed this pack. Nathaniel’s story is my favorite. The introduction of all the guys and their individuality was spot on. I will say I did not find all the love stories believable. Especially Dontae and Catherine’s. She cheated because she felt he was keeping secrets and it was written as his fault. I found that ridiculous. She said he never really loved her because he was not open to her. How much did Catherine love him to cheat. She was responsible for her actions. She should have asked, but that would not have been much of a story.
Eli and Darik were such fun characters. Loved their humor. Brought great balance to the pack. They both had a passion of being the center of attention. Nathaniel oozed yumminess. All in all it was a very fun read. Not all page turner’s, but definitely entertaining. I will say this is not really a PNR read. You only know they are wolves because we are told they are. It could easily have been just good love stories.
My favorite part of all the stories were the weddings. So much fun. The most romantic was Nathaniel’s, with Dontae’s being a very close second. My absolute favorite was Eli’s.
I will miss New York. I’ll give Chicago a try. Looks interesting.
I really did enjoy these books, not as much as previous books by this author...I absolutely loved the Cocker Brothers Series...but they were each good stories with fun, sometimes quirky, heroines and yummy alpha male werewolves...what's not to like?!
Each book had some action, some drama and some steam and I didn't feel like they were repetitive like other reviews had mentioned. There were even some funny moments, which always adds to a book in my opinion. And bravo to the author for not putting a synopsis of Dante's book...I kinda thought maybe it would be about those two and I'm glad it was...they needed to clear things up.
So why not 5's? I know with romance books, especially ones that deal with paranormal characters, the reader must suspend reality and just enjoy the story...and I even understand the whole animal instincts leading the men to their "mates." But the women aren't animals and I would just like to see a bit more work on the guys part before the girls are not only falling in to bed but walking down the isle with the men...I'm just sayin.
This is Werewolves of New York, the boxed set written by Faleena Hopkins. Wanna guess what kind of paranormal creatures are in this set?...come on...you won’t even try!? Ok then I will tell you. It’s...werewolves! And they are awesome and amazing and hot as can be! Witness the pairing of each of the 4 special men in this set. Each one is wonderful!! Don’t miss them!!
Werewolves of New York Boxed Set is good four stories that bring out the writing style of Faleena Hopkins. These wolves are sexy, billionaires, alphas, crime fighting, eco-friendly and romantics at heart. Each story is different, each has humor, sexy time between the sheets and good storyline. I highly recommend reading this box set!! Happy Reading!!
Thought the story summary good and a little different and since could be read from KU took a chance. The cons: Editing. There was a fair amount of typos and grammatical errors which were somewhat distracting. The main characters were all manwhores who somehow had lots and lots of casual unprotected sex but never got an STD or knocked anyone up. While fantasy is a large part of these kind of story, a writer needs to first build the fantasy world and also keep it believable in the world they create. That didn’t happen here. It was never really built here. The leading ladies were meh. Pros The story line was interesting and the bad guys different. Overall it ended up ok,
I started reading Faleena's books as a "hmmm, this looks interesting" as I picked up Cocky Roomie! Now I've found a favorite author. Great reads and fun families. (Even if its a nontraditional one.) I love this series and the great way those men, err wolves, protect their own. Everyone wants a forever and passionate love and her books have that.
I haven't left a review in a while, but this series was worth a few words!! Dynamic characters. Great plots. The stories are stand alone books, but they do intertwine well.
How did I not know one of my fav author had written a whole series of wolf shifter books? I love all her books so I wasn't surprised that I enjoyed everyone of these books. Now I am on to the Chicago series!! Yes!!
I really enjoyed these books. I found these books refreshing, fun and cathartic for so many reasons. thank you for breaking my heart, then gluing it back together in a fun and hopeful way. It just goes to show that heroes are still out there.

I really enjoyed this series the writing was fluid and well though out, the characters were moral and likable. There was sex, humor, action, and plain old fun.
What can say about the werewolves of NY?? Oh my! I FLOVED this series! I loved how different each werewolf was, and there is no way I could choose just one. I'll just take the whole pack lol! Great read!! Thank you Faleena Hopkins for another GREAT read!!
Solid stories except for the very last one. If I were rating these separately, that last story would easily have gotten a 2 star. (if not just 1)
I disliked Catherine so much - and not just because the author set you up from the previous 3 stories to come to hate her for her betrayal. Talk about coming off as a flake. And it wasn't a situation in which you come to learn she was "misunderstood,", just that she made a mistake and supposedly learned her lesson and blah blah blah.
To be honest, I found her character growth/change unbelievable and the overall relationship between her and Dontae sliding from over-the-top to just forced. .
This is a good werewolves/romance set. I couldn't put it down. I think I enjoyed the Werewolves of Chicago, by the same author, much more. Worth reccomending to read. The 4 werewolves definitely have distinct personalities, each one has their own set of issues. The Chicago Wolves had more action/crime type thrills than the NY wolves. Good story telling.
